So this is my first entry, and I think I should start with who I am. Maybe this will help you relate and maybe stuff that helps me will help you! So I'm a 21 year old girl with not too severe acne but enough acne to lower my self-esteem. My journey so far: I had baby skin throughout puberty. Like. My skin was epic. Beautiful. Made from the gods. Okay, maybe not that good but you get the picture. And then it slowly said "F you UnspoiledDude, F you!" and changed into this mess of a skin.

    DAY 13

Nothing much to say once again haha! The spots on my chin aren't as big today, that's the only thing I've noticed! I I think because I take my tablet so late in the evening after my dinner which is usually half 7, I'm sleeping through a lot of the tablet being in my system so I'm not feeling too many effects yet, I haven't had pains in a while! And taking it straight after dinner I think soaks up a lot of the tablet so I'm not having too my dryness (I don't want to speak too soon though!
  4. right cheek(worse) left cheek (not as bad as right) ps i don't know if the pics will show up because I'm new to this site and don't really know how to use it... and sorry for not rotating the pics. Anyways.. I get papules that turn into pustules. They take about 2 weeks or more to go away and leave this horrible bright red mark, and I don't even pop it. I ordered Dan's BP treatment and Purpose cleanser and Olay moisturizer (the one he recommends) and I'm going to start The Regimen when my o
  5. hey guys, i've read a lot of positive reviews on Brevoxyl 4% cream and i'm definetely going to give it a try... i have light acne but a lot of scars on my face and i wanted to know if this cream can help me get rid of my scars... or is it only for acne vulgaris??? plz reply as i really want my face to become clear and free of those scars( i mostly have them on my forehead due to a breakout and one or two on my cheeks...).. so plz reply... also when i apply the cream, should i spread the cream
  6. Hey all! I recently found that I most probably have fungal folliculitis on my face. I think it came when I first tried the OCM method which did not work for me at all. I guess my pores got clogged? Anyway I started treating it with Nizoral and Head and Shoulders Classic clean, alternating every 2 days or so. I have been doing it properly since friday (before that I wasn't absorbing everything so doing it wrong for 2 days). Things seem to be improving but not as fast as I had hoped. I have JR P
  7. Hi guys, I've been looking through this place a little bit for the past few weeks, and I thought I'd make a post today. I'm now 18 (almost 19) and I started having spots/acne in certain places around 2 years ago. I didn't know much about cleaning and moisturizing back then, and I unfortunately used to go crazy at these spots and pick and pop. Fast forward today, I have dark spots/marks from previous spots (it'd probably be the same as red scars, but I'm dark skinned so--) and I still get

    DAY 17

My scalp is so dry now, has anybody got any recommendations for something to put on it? The problem is right at my hairline and there's a lot of flakiness. The only part of my face that's dry are my cheeks, my lips haven't gotten dry yet! Thankfully.

  10. For example when I was in high school I wanted to kill everyone who bullied me for it. I also use to punch and break things because of how it wrecked my life. Now a few years later I still have violent thoughts in general because of it and constant anger.
  11. What angers me most about acne is all the missed opportunities it caused me to have during my teen years that I will never get back. I had no friends and never did anything exciting as a teen because I lived in isolation not by choice. I'm 21 now and have pretty much clear skin and I feel like I'm years behind everyone else because it socially stunted me and it's hard to start a social life from scratch as you get older.

    Hormonal Acne Scars

I have a hormonal scars that are slighlty indented and i have been using Braggs undiluted organic APPLE CIDER VINEGAR. It seems to be making a difference! I have uploaded a photo. The one that has a circle is the indented one. If it works itd be a great cheap alternative! I just rub some on the scars with a q-tip at night. Sometimes multiple times a night. When u apply it the area will become red, but itll be gone by the morning
  13. Ordered the kit this past week and hope to get it in the mail this week! I've read over everything but there's only one thing I'm confused about. Since this will be my first time using any of these products, should I use the BP all over my face or just do it in problem areas or vice versa (start with problem areas, do whole face after a couple weeks) to start out with?
  14. Firstly, hello everyone.. I'm new here (: I've had acne for at least 5 years now (I'm almost 16) mostly only having whiteheads and blackheads, with the occasional pimple. But I went through a stage where I was getting a few cystic pimples on my cheeks, and now they have gone but I'm left with red marks. My acne at the moment is mostly black/white heads.. But with the acne treatments my dermatologist has me on my skin is very weak. Meaning when I do succumb to my urges and pick at a little bl
  15. Hey, I live in the UK, so Dan's products are not readily available. After reading good review after good review I have decided to order some of the products off amazon.com after you guys give me some advice At the moment, twice a day I cleanse and exfoliate (the freederm range) and then moisturise. Two weeks ago I started using BP 5%, in 3 days my acne was really improving, but the next week was met with peeling skin, and even some cuts. I immediately stopped using the BP 5 and focused on hea

    Please Help Me!

please help me. I don't know what type of scars I have or in what way to treat them. I don't have alot of money but I'm desperate and will do ANYTHING and suffer all types of pain to rid myself of these. and my scars are weird as well because they are almost like a tunnel system. where two scars will be connected under the skin with a tiny tunnel. I can put a safety pin between them under my skin almost like a piercing. I'm new to this and have tried microdermabrasion with some type of laser whe
  22. Not every treatment that claims to cure acne actually keeps its promises. Most teen acne sufferers (and their parents!) have experienced the disappointment of products that fail to deliver, and this can, of course, be heartbreaking. Not only do many remedies fail to work, they can also be very damaging to the skin and sometimes even the rest of the body. Most prescription acne treatments fall into four groups namely: * Normalizing- the medication is shed into the pore to minimize block
  23. If I scar easily and maybe heal slow( I think I heal slow ) Maybe because of accutane 2 years ago.. Is it then GAME OVER for me, to just fade my scars or made them a bit better looking with some treatments are needling /dermaroller,dermapen,dermastamp,single) a total no go? even with a small needle length?
  24. Hello everyone, Does anyone have experience going to a doctor in the Chicago area which you could recommend? I am interested in doing TCA Cross or anything that could help with my ice pick scars. Thank you
