Side Effects

Medium side effects and adverse reactions's Real World Take

Sarecycline is similar to other oral antibiotics prescribed for acne (doxycycline, minocycline, tetracycline) but is much more expensive, and based on studies thus far, works less well. Like other antibiotics, it should be used for a maximum of 3 months, provides only moderate benefit and only to some people, and may lead to side effects and strains of resistant bacteria.
