I may likely be doing a second phenol last week of august depending on what Dr Rullan thinks (I just their office & Mary some of these photos today)
In this lighting, it looks pretty good. Don't even need a second peel.

It's soft tissue swelling, probably due to subcision. I am not too worried about it. It doesn't hurt or obviously noticeable. It's only slightly noticeable when getting really close to the mirror. I am fine with it. With this swelling, my skin looks soooo good, just as yours :). If I can choose, I'd rather have this swelling forever instead of scars lololol....

my next steps:
- combined RFM & eCo2 monthly
- filler with a derm Dr Rullan recommended in Toronto on March 2nd
- temple filler on Jan 22 (this will help fill in aging temples, make acne scars a tiny less noticeable)
- 2 or 3 day phenol peel in august 2023

im going for my phenol peel on 1/18. However my skin texture is absolutely terrible and I have pigmentation issues so I feel it will be good for me anyway.
Regarding the 3 day phenol peel, Ive been told that Dr. Rullan is considering a 3 day phenol peel for me. Apparently it is something he decides on the 2nd day of the phenol peel.
Also, how soon did you go back to work? How did it go wearing the mask?

Were you also very swollen and leaking? I feel like in other pictures people are much less swollen than I am. He injected me with a mix of lidocaine and saline for the subcision and that keeps leaking out even now, though much less now thank god. Ready for this mask to come off for sure!

i looked into him he doesnt seem to have any acne scar specialization but going to see how it differs with filler

I still really would like a second peel. I have a second peel booked for end of august. But my boyfriend is so against it. Which is very annoying. Since Im the one financing it. Just dont get it.

I am wondering if phenol cross or trio makes sense for texture issues. Will it make the texture even worse after phenol peel as it's not full face? Or it can still improve texture? I am really hesitating. The recovery for phenol peel is so tiring and I am pretty much having very little texture issues left. Similar to Wombatstaywoke@, but more or less like mild orange peel skin. Sigh, this is so tiring...

You look great! There is nothing better than the phenol peel for ultimate smoothing. You can't get that with anything else. Catharsis, are you considering more subcision with filler? Or just filler? Like I've mentioned on my thread, I'm really interested in getting subcision with filler or with suction after. I feel like it would really benefit us. Like F93d did some localized subcision with filler and it really helped him finish things up.
Yes, a second peel is ideal but my god it is intense. I don't know that I could go through the entire process and downtime and recovery again.

Barely got any hyperpigmentation which is shocking because Im considered skin type 4 but I guess not now lol? I was kind of hoping Id be skin type 4 for aging purposes so dont know lol but I live in Canada so maybe the UV level of zero had a factor?

I got filler today, just filler cheek bone filler actually so deep to the bone to help bring the whole face up I was suspecting it will help with any texture and scarring

A better side to side. Its so hard sometimes to get photos of my scars these days (lol nice change) but some of the stubborn ones are indeed still there

If I were you, I would probably wait for a bit since the peel really takes time to show it full effect. I think filler sounds a good idea. Also, just wondering, (you might have mentioned this), how did you deal with the care taker issue? I'm a foreign student, I don't think I'm able to find someone that can go there with me for 4-5days. Did you hire a caretaker by yourself?

Definitely far improved. You did subcision/filler? Or just phenol. Either way you should be really impressed with the results as the depth and texture has improved significantly. Did Rullan do both the phenol and subcision/filler? I was thinking of getting Rullan's advice on my situation as I seem to have a complicated case in general. May I ask did you find Rullan very talented/honest in general?

Did you do a full face peel? How would you rate the pain? I'm planning to get a phenol peel from Rullan too but wanna do only chin & cheeks. Peeling on eyelids sounds a bit scary
