here are some photos taken just today.
compared to my day 1, Ive come eons but Im still looking to do a second phenol. Im really hoping it will continue to improve my texture
im greatful for coming this far for sure but I still get a bit insecure about my scars
maybe its habit
maybe its just because I know improvement may still be possible
i am definitely happy for doing the phenol because now I know for sure it works
But im itching to get a second one.
By the way I have been awol busy with work and life. And please dont mind the new zit on my face 🙂 it made its arrival today
but it wont be staying for long with some good ol handy benzoyl peroxide.
Here are two more in an elevator with overhead lighting, a few days ago.
And here is me in 2019.. it's important to remind yourself how far you've come. I'm hoping a second phenol will bring more results. Thoughts @getsmart121 ?
And for good measure, these were in the summer of 2022 after a hell of a lot of treatments, 9 subcisions, sculptra x3, radiesse x3, phenol cross and erbium with rullan and mass excision, 3x infini rfm, 1 fully ablative erbium for cheeks
Yes you have come a long way. With ablative or phenol peel the goal is to blunt the edges of scars in such a way that it merges with the surrounding skin. And that is what was achieved with this phenol peel or other treatments prior. No procedure can fix isolated scar volume loss. Whenever we get acne we lose fat, collagen during the repair process. So at the most we can get back collagen but we cant get back fat. So at the end of this journey you need to get thicker fillers. I think juvederm is trash it doesnt last at all. Unless you have very shallow scars. From technical standpoint juvederm is thicker but cant be contained in a scar location when injected, whereas bellafil comes out like a spider web and is always connected. Its like a little thicker sebum.
basically your scars are Distensible and filler is your friend going forward. You have gotten what this procedure meant for is that smoothing of edges.
Please lookup bellafil Instagram page, many dra videos on filling distensibke scars. There was a comparison video of the substance between juvederm and bellafil. Not able to find it but will check

Ill look into it but Ive heard so many horror stories from bellafil
what about a few rounds of sculptra?
Found some good overhead lighting to take some photos. Hmm. Im definitely thinking now about next steps
I do hope maybe a phenol will help and or sculptra?

@getsmart121 Im thinking a second phenol will surely improve texture a bit more? Did you notice any improvement in texture after the second phenol?
I also am realizing there arent really any bellafill specialists around me
but perhaps going to look into sculptra injections prior to the second phenol?
Dr rullan did my sculptra alongside Quattro. I noticed my texture worsened after second peel since I did it within 3 months of second peel. Pores enlarges. So after my Quattro procedure they resolved and little more smoothing of scars. But the waiting time minimum is 3 months to see results.
for radiesse I got it locally at medspa alongside subcsision.

Do you still feel textured has worsened since the second peel? What other results did you see from the second peel
Scars improved more but my pores enlarged. It looked good but in a different way. In my honest opinion deep peel shouldnt be done in a short time like 3 months of doing deep peel atleast 6 months to a year at a minimum
the deep peel second time was done differently I wasnt put on any anesthesia, he will just do the cheek area and he didnt put bismuth powder on the second day. So not sure if that might have contributed to poor healing.

I think Im going to do the 2 day phenol again
so Id have to do bellafill after right not before?

You are just too FOMO in getting perfectly smooth skin...

Not perfectly smooth for sure
but just better
its hard when your family and everyone around you had porcelain perfect skin
man. Its really crazy to think about all of the dollars I spent at this point.
thoigh to be fair a share of the treatments were mistakes
scars are just so hard to treat

How do you feel about your results now by the way
Did I mention after my phenol you can really see the tca mark Dr Sajic left on my skin. Ugh
Emphasizes that you can never be too careful in choosing your practitioner
