hey!struggling to know whats best as its hard to find anyone with my similar scarring. mine is in corners around my mouth/chin. Talked to scar expert doctor in usa and he wants to do basically subscision( not sure its safe in that area) but I cant find any examples of that in the area. then wants to do cod2 around certain scars, a erbium and then fill with HA in those scars as its softer and these areas get a ton of movement. looking for advice or anyone with similar scars.
one area, the dark spot.. from atrophy from a steroid shot in a cyst a month ago, and this scar doctor said that would need to have subscision but so many in this group said that loss will come back, thought subscision was only for tethering?
I am just concerned some doctors want to go too extreme, is there anyone who had scars or has seen these type of scars and what can be done ?

From all the research I've done, the atrophy (sunkenness) from a cortisone shot is only temporary, so that should bounce back at least somewhat.
As far as the other treatments, they sound pretty normal, but it's so good to hear that you are being deliberate and making sure things aren't taken too extreme, etc. Mostly, you want to make sure you're under the care of someone really good who can show you similar before and afters of scarring just like yours.
