Pros:

Good fresh clean.
No irritation whatsoever.
Soft and gentle, makes for nice even skin.
Does it's job. CLEANSER.

Cons:

This isnt really an "acne treatment".
Its a good cleanser, but if you have spots dont expect this to magically kill them. Youll ned a complete regimen, my firend.

Does not leave skin tight or dry, leaves it soft and even and fresh. Gets out all impurities, takes off makeup. Its basic, no redness or irritation. A good cleanser. But agian, doesnt really get rid of spots, it makes your acutal skin lvoely, but its not a spot treatment. Works well and a reccomend it for anyone looking for a good, gentle and refreshing cleanser. Been using it for a few months and it is a very nice cleanser.(:

Pros:

- Keeps skin under control
- Skin feels fresh, clean, smooth
- Good for imflammatory acne

Cons:

- Not going to clear up severe acne

The exfoliant particles are spherical which massively helps reduce inflammation. A lot of face scrubs use staggered shards of random things that actually tear your skin up even worse I think as a daily facial cleanser for someone with acne this stuff is the business. Once I started using it I kept buying it again and again. It isn't a miracle cure but it does help reduce redness and generally calms your skin. The whole range is great, I use the one for sensitive skin now which is just as good.

Pros:

Nothing

Cons:

I also had a terrible reaction to this; my skin came up in a itchy red rash and still feels really tight and horrible. Ive never had an issue with anything on my face before and have never suffered from spots.

Way, way too harsh,

Pros:

-all natural
-hasn't made my acne worse
-smells natural
-helps redness
-natural salicylic acid
-scrub leaves your skin smooth
-pimples appear smaller

Cons:

-the moisturizer is terrible (leaves you shiny and greasy....not best for under makeup)
-cleanser and toner dries skin (just put on a good moisturizer after)
-target spot treatment stings (shows that it's working then)
-hasn't cleared acne 100%

Im 22 and suffer from hormonal jaw and chin acne. I have gone back to using this back and forth. I truly believe that this does help your skin, however, I dont believe that it helps in the long run. this does help get rid of my redness (around my chin) and when i stopped using it, i noticed that my redness came back so then I used it again. My pimples haven't gotten worse but they appear a lot smaller. The spot treatment does help diminish the pimple but I can't tell you for a fact that if it really does help get rid of it. When I use the spot treatment on some pimples, it will get rid of it on some and on others it will diminish. What I love about this is that its all natural without harsh chemicals in them that's the only reason why I would repurchase. Yes, the cleanser does dry your skin so put on a moisturizer after (DO NOT use burts bees moisturizer). I also bought the toner which they didnt include in the picture. The toner gets rid of oil and dirt and again, I love that it's natural. All of these products include natural salicylic acid derived naturally from willow bark extract.

Pros:

My skin felt nice after using it...

Cons:

Caused extreme breakouts
Made skin really dry
Doesn't get rid of scars
Waste of money

After using this product for about a week, it caused me to breakout with huge, deep pimples that showed up in areas that I never normally get acne in. At first I thought it was working well, but then the breakouts came and it wasn't even reducing scarring. I really disliked this product.

Pros:

Makes skin smooth
Smells great
Feels refreshing

Cons:

Doesn't do much for acne

I believe this scrub has those little microbeads which help exfoliate skin. Overall, it smells fantastic and does make your skin smooth afterwards. As for a treatment for acne, it doesn't do much, which comes from the fact that the active ingredient is salicylic acid. Aside from being incredibly mild, salicylic acid doesn't do much outside of opening up your pores and exfoliating your skin. As we all know, this is just one small part of why most people get acne. You really need to incorporate a benzoyl peroxide product along with this treatment. I would recommend using this first, followed by a benzoyl peroxide scrub. I think it's a good product. I'm not sure if it is advertised to be specifically for acne, but it doesn't really work.

Finding a Doctor

The right dermatologist can make a big difference to your patient experience and the success of your acne treatment plan. Here are the steps to find a dermatologist who is a good fit:

  1. Use the search feature on the American Academy of Dermatology website to look for board-certified dermatologists in your area, and filter the search results for doctors with a special interest in treating acne.
  2. Read online patient reviews of any dermatologists you are considering and ask people you know whether they have any experience with these dermatologists.
  3. Do your research and go to your first appointment with questions prepared.
  4. Listen to what your gut feeling tells you once you see a dermatologist in person. If you are not completely comfortable, try a different dermatologist.

Finding a Doctor

Only a select few plastic surgeons specialize in acne scar revision surgery. Be certain to find a provider who specializes in acne scar repair and who is passionate and experienced in this area.

Be sure to:

  • Look at before and after photos, the more the better, especially patients with similar scarring to your own.
  • Be realistic about results. Look for improvement, not a cure.

Questions to ask a potential scar revision specialist:

  • Are you board certified? Be certain that they are board certified.
  • How long have you been performing these procedures? Normally, the more experience the better, however, some younger surgeons may be more on top of the latest procedures.
  • Can I speak to some of your other patients? Ask for references for several patients who had similar scarring and speak to them about the process and their satisfaction with results.

Red flags:

  • Their story changes: As you discuss different treatment options, if they tend to change their mind easily, or agree with whatever you say, consider this a red flag. A confident, experienced surgeon will possess strong, unwavering opinions.
  • Your gut tells you "no": Trust your gut. If you just don't feel that the doctor is the right fit, trust that and move on. On the other hand, if you feel they are the perfect specialist for you, trust that feeling.
