Fantastic
Now, to begin. I'm a 16 year old high school Junior. The first encounter with acne was my freshman year of high school at the beginning of summer. It was just a view zits so I brushed it off thinking no big deal. Near the start of school, my acne took an explosive turning point. Zits and cysts began forming everywhere. I started becoming desperate and ashamed of my face. Going to into public, I'd always wear a hoodie to shield my face. I've used every possible home remedie. Some did have effect, but not enough to stop my acne. It would comeback more stronger. Then about 2 months ago I discovered the regimen. I'm not really a skeptical kind of guy. I was pretty impulsive ordering it immediately. After purchase and arrival, I tried it. Worked great at first, but I had a problem picking zits, I eventually stopped and let the acne regimen do its thing. It definitely cures acne, I mean I still have some breakouts, but nothing too noticeable. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because of the obnoxious dry skin. Beware the dry skin.

Similar to Proactiv
I think it's a cheaper knock-off of proactive. Which also did NOT work for me :( But the customer service is better and I was able to return it for a refund with no problem.

Is this Effective?
Does this go with a set? Can I use this alone or it should be together with other products?

A Miracle In A Bottle
I am 23 and have been struggling with cystic acne for about 8 years. I have tried everything from proactiv, neutrogena, acnefree, home remedies, and even accutane. This list goes on & on but none of them worked. This product in combination with the bar soap and mineral foundation is the only thing that works for me. In about 3 weeks I saw a HUGE difference. Not to mention, one bottle lasted me 10 months! I am more than satisfied with all of these products and the customer service. I will not use any other product besides Carley's on my face from now on.

WOW!!
Like many other reviewers, I have also tried out a crap load of products that never worked. From Proactive, Clearasil, Clinique, Drugstore products nothing has ever worked except for this! I am pretty much clear now and I have been on this for about 2 months and 3 weeks. I began noticing my skin getting clear at 2 months! I would say my skin was moderate to severe. I had painful cystic acne all over my face.. not in just one area. When I began using this product I had nothing to lose because I gave up on my skin. I am so glad this worked for me but I only use the benzoyl peroxide for my face along with Cetaphil products. I get a pimple here and there only when I use something for my acne scars and marks for the face. The first month and a half were the worst! I was so dry my eyebrows and lips hurt. I also peeled like a snake every single day. But now that my skin got use to it I don't peel and I cut down the benzoyl to a pump day/night.. sometimes only once a day. You really need to wait on this product to work because I have tried products out there that work the second day after using it and a few months in my skin would go back to the way it use to be. The benzoyl is the best product I have ever used. All I really have on my face now is acne scars :( but it's awesome to put makeup on and see no bumps! People don't stare at my skin as much as they use to and I feel more confident in myself. If you are hesitant to try this and you have lost hope just try it out for a few months. It could work for you!

Cleared my skin but too dried
Okay so I been using the regimen for a little over a year. It worked wonders for my skin I have oily cystic prone skin moderate acne. I followed the regimen to the T. Every single step and instruction for a complete 3 months my skin was completely cleared not one single acne at all but my skin was excessively too dry not to mention my skin is oily but it dried out my skin too much it hurt to smile or even talk because it became so dry and tight. I stopped using the regimen since my acne was gone and decide to buy moisturizing cleaners and that was good for my skin so I bought Lush products (mask of magnanimity, dark Angels , and cosmetic warrior) my skin kept clear for another 4 months then I ran out of my lush products and my skin was not dry anymore so I decided to just buy a gentle cleanser (cetaphils) then out of no where my skin broke out only on my forehead terrible cystic acne and I haven't been able till this day to get rid of my cystic acne on my forehead. I went back to using the regimen for just 2 weeks but my skin is starting to crack and become extremely dry again. I love these products it does its job but it's extremely over drying to my skin.

AWFUL
I used to use this on fairly mild acne and had to give up due to how bad it made my skin. Firstly, the smell is awful (not a massive deal breaker usually), and when applied it burns for a while. The cream hardens and flakes off, but took loads of my skin with it. It also made me go bright red and really irritated my whole face. It did reduce spot size, but only after multiple repeat applications. It's only my experience, but I would warn against it for all pale skinned/sensitive skinned people as it quite literally burnt most of my skin off!

Finding a Doctor

The right dermatologist can make a big difference to your patient experience and the success of your acne treatment plan. Here are the steps to find a dermatologist who is a good fit:

  1. Use the search feature on the American Academy of Dermatology website to look for board-certified dermatologists in your area, and filter the search results for doctors with a special interest in treating acne.
  2. Read online patient reviews of any dermatologists you are considering and ask people you know whether they have any experience with these dermatologists.
  3. Do your research and go to your first appointment with questions prepared.
  4. Listen to what your gut feeling tells you once you see a dermatologist in person. If you are not completely comfortable, try a different dermatologist.

Finding a Doctor

Only a select few plastic surgeons specialize in acne scar revision surgery. Be certain to find a provider who specializes in acne scar repair and who is passionate and experienced in this area.

Be sure to:

  • Look at before and after photos, the more the better, especially patients with similar scarring to your own.
  • Be realistic about results. Look for improvement, not a cure.

Questions to ask a potential scar revision specialist:

  • Are you board certified? Be certain that they are board certified.
  • How long have you been performing these procedures? Normally, the more experience the better, however, some younger surgeons may be more on top of the latest procedures.
  • Can I speak to some of your other patients? Ask for references for several patients who had similar scarring and speak to them about the process and their satisfaction with results.

Red flags:

  • Their story changes: As you discuss different treatment options, if they tend to change their mind easily, or agree with whatever you say, consider this a red flag. A confident, experienced surgeon will possess strong, unwavering opinions.
  • Your gut tells you "no": Trust your gut. If you just don't feel that the doctor is the right fit, trust that and move on. On the other hand, if you feel they are the perfect specialist for you, trust that feeling.
