Pros:

Works very well on my skin!

Cons:

Expensive...Dries skin a little bit(depending on skin type)

I think the product works i have used it for a while and my acne is so close to gone! I am amazed with proactiv! I tried a lot of products and they just didnt work! I tried neutrogena, clearasil, clean and clear and nothing worked! I even went to the dermatologist for a prescription and all the topical treatment did was dry out my skin! This works for my skin.. i understand it doesnt work for everyone though.

This company rips you off! They have taken hundreds of dollars from me for no reason!!! And I can't seem to get my money back.

NEVER BUY THIS PRODUCT! If I could rate them a 0 I would.

Pros:

All natural, affordable, superior customer service, free samples, feels great, easy to use.

Cons:

It may take time for your skin to adjust especially for sensitive skin. (But it's worth the wait!)

This product has changed my life. It is the only thing available that's all natural for those of us that have sensitive skin! It took time for my skin to adjust, but now im still amazed that I can look in the mirror and see my face again instead of pimples. I use the kick a** formula for my severe acne and it is the ONLY product that has eliminated the large severe painful acne as well as reducing blackheads. My skin is smooth and soft and the soap made my face actually feel clean for the first time in YEARS. I started with the original formula, but switched to the stronger formula and it made the difference and I found that a light washing with the soap, followed by gently applying the formula and leaving it on for maybe 15 seconds, rinsing, then applying the moisturizer after patting dry works best for me. I do that routine twice a day. The moisturizer is a must have because my combination skin can get a little dry and it feels great. It's also a great base for mineral foundation. Try this product! And be patient with it because it takes time to adjust but it's worth it! I tell everyone I know about Carley's because of how it has changed my life. I wish I would have found it when I was 15 and saved myself the worry of living with acne and all the money I wasted on other products! I love Carley's!

Pros:

Has 10% Benzoyl Peroxide
Is easy to apply to the skin
Clears up acne pretty well
Great if you have bad acne or if you have really oily skin

Cons:

Can be drying if you use too much of it all of the time

Is great overall if you have moderate acne or really oily skin. Helps to minimize zits quickly. I wouldn't recommend it if you have very sensitive skin, but you could try it as a spot treatment. And as always with every acne spot treatment, MOISTURIZE!!!

Pros:

Clears skin

Cons:

Dries skin(Use jojoba/olive oil to combat).

I have been using BP from acne.org for the past year and a half and my light/moderate acne has completely vanished. It cleared my face in about a week and has not stopped working over time. Once in a blue moon, I'll get a pimple, but for the most part I'm clear. Love this product! Completely worth it!

Pros:

Clearer skin, prevents breakouts & oily skin, makes skin feel a lot better, smells really nice.

Cons:

Makes skin feel dry (sometimes) causes redness & sometimes stings a little.

I paid £40 not $. As soon as I used this product I saw improvement straight away. I had mild acne, not too bad and the first time I used it I saw a difference within the first hour. My skin looked so much more cleaner and healthier, pretty much all my blackheads were gone after the first wash. It does make your skin a little red and stings a bit, but that just shows that it has been cleaned properly. Some people have different kinds of skin so it won't work on everyone, just like every other product, that's just a risk you have to take. But I really would recommend it to anyone who has mild acne. I wouldn't recommend it to someone with really bad skin cause the exfoliating beads in the cleanser might make the acne even worse and irritate it, I'd see a doctor. But it really is an amazing product and made my skin so much clearer, I love it! Really helps :)

Pros:

Prevents future acne
Fast results
Easy to use
Creamy consistency
Good price

Cons:

Leaves skin dry
Poors out of bottle fast, be careful

I give this product 5 stars because it got rid of my acne completely, the only time I get zits is one zit when I'm on my period (impossible to not happen for me). It does leave your skin dry, but if you have oily skin like me thats a good thing!!! Just use an oil free moisturizer & you're set. I also use OXY's spot lotion all over my face at night and if you have zits it dries them up over night. GOOD STUFF =) try it!

Pros:

I would say the best 2.5% benzoyl peroxide ever! I love the texture because it is so easy to apply and it saves me a lot of time. I usually took about 10-15 mins applying other benzoyl peroxide cream. Now, 3 mins is enough. Secondly, even with first application, i can see the difference. Upon first day on this regimen, the frequency of acne appearing is reduced extensively. I cant wait to wake up every morning to see my face gets better. This is definitely THE ONE!

Cons:

I know it will bleach fabrics, so to counter that, whenever i go to work, i will use a white singlet or tshirt inside to avoid it from bleaching my outer shirt ( that is if you are using it on to your body for body and back acne )

This is definitely a keeper for any acne sufferer. I practically tried everything there is on the counter, but this proven to be the only treatment that keeps the acne away.

Pros:

Very effective, clears acne and prevents new spots from forming, wonderful texture, no bad scent, smooth and non-sticky, very comfortable and non-irritating. Hands down, the best benzoyl peroxide on the market.

Cons:

NONE. Seriously, not a single con.

I love this stuff. I'm 100% clear after using this with the regimen. I cannot say enough great things about this benzoyl peroxide. I've been using this for five years, and I recommend it to anyone struggling with acne. I had no irritation when I started using this product (possibly because I'm a former Pro-Activ user); in fact, it feels so great on my skin that I look forward to applying it after cleansing. It's a wonderful product; I absolutely love it.

Finding a Doctor

The right dermatologist can make a big difference to your patient experience and the success of your acne treatment plan. Here are the steps to find a dermatologist who is a good fit:

  1. Use the search feature on the American Academy of Dermatology website to look for board-certified dermatologists in your area, and filter the search results for doctors with a special interest in treating acne.
  2. Read online patient reviews of any dermatologists you are considering and ask people you know whether they have any experience with these dermatologists.
  3. Do your research and go to your first appointment with questions prepared.
  4. Listen to what your gut feeling tells you once you see a dermatologist in person. If you are not completely comfortable, try a different dermatologist.

Finding a Doctor

Only a select few plastic surgeons specialize in acne scar revision surgery. Be certain to find a provider who specializes in acne scar repair and who is passionate and experienced in this area.

Be sure to:

  • Look at before and after photos, the more the better, especially patients with similar scarring to your own.
  • Be realistic about results. Look for improvement, not a cure.

Questions to ask a potential scar revision specialist:

  • Are you board certified? Be certain that they are board certified.
  • How long have you been performing these procedures? Normally, the more experience the better, however, some younger surgeons may be more on top of the latest procedures.
  • Can I speak to some of your other patients? Ask for references for several patients who had similar scarring and speak to them about the process and their satisfaction with results.

Red flags:

  • Their story changes: As you discuss different treatment options, if they tend to change their mind easily, or agree with whatever you say, consider this a red flag. A confident, experienced surgeon will possess strong, unwavering opinions.
  • Your gut tells you "no": Trust your gut. If you just don't feel that the doctor is the right fit, trust that and move on. On the other hand, if you feel they are the perfect specialist for you, trust that feeling.
