Pros:

oh my gosh i cant tell you how long i have been looking for something like this. this thing WORKS! i have been on almost allllllllll over the counter products. NONE WORKED. i have even been on accutane and i didnt help me. ( i know it helps alot of people, but i was an oddball) .. i thank god for this thing. it saved my life. it even helps BLACKHEADS!! you know those little bumps UNDER your skin that you KNOW will turn into pimples sooner or later?!?!? ... IT ZAPS IT ALL AWAY! Love this!!!!!!!

Cons:

the only con i can think of is a slight bit of dry skin which can be helped alot by using the Oxy hydrating therapy.

this product is truly amazing. no scent, 10% benzoyl peroxide, no harsh extreme irritation, and bottom line, it Does what it promises, and it didnt need all the celebrities to endorse it or lie about it. it just plain and simple, works. if your reading this and in doubt, just try it. you will love this product.

Pros:

Clears Acne Fast, Foams, Prevents Breakouts

Cons:

Drys skin, Burns, For me it burned the corners of my eyes

This is probably the best over the counter facial wash out there. It gets rid of all the acne extremely fast. My face has not totally cleared up yet, but most of my acne has faded. Some have completely vanished off the surface of my face. My face used to be just covered in acne (especially my forehead and right cheek), but now everything is finally going away. I have tried everything in the past with my acne but nothing really worked. No over the counter stuff. This changed my life.

Pros:

Prevents new acne from forming
Treats existing acne
Inexpensive

Cons:

Rough on your skin when you first start, but hang in there and your skin will adjust.

I have struggled with acne for over 6 years and nothing has worked for me. I looked at the regimen on this site and saw that people were having success, but it's pretty expensive for a college student, so I tried to find an alternative and I found this. This face wash is the best! I normally wouldn't get on here and write this but I think this will help someone. When I first started using it I was skeptical for the first week or two, especially because my face was in pain during the first week but I think I jumped in too deep right off the bat. If you do start using this face wash then you need to slowly incorporate it into your regimen. Start off using it every other night, then when you're comfortable use it once at night, then you can eventually use it twice a day. This product definitely cleared up my acne for the most part and put my face under control, the worse thing that happens is a pimple every now and then but that's perfectly fine. Make sure not to use it with any SA, or else you will just irritate your face and breakout. It didn't help with red marks though, so here is how I use it today: In the morning: 1) Splash face with luke warm water and then apply a good amount all over your face and let it sit there for 10 minutes (you need to work your way up to this point). 2) Hop in the shower and wash it off with luke warm water. Pat your face dry. 3) Moisturize (I use CeraVe moisturizing cream) At night: 1) Splash face with luke warm water and then apply a good amount all over your face and let it sit there for 10 minutes. 2) Hop in the shower and wash it off with luke warm water. Pat your face dry. 3) Moisturize (at night time I use an Alpha Hydroxy face cream I got from Walgreens to slowly get rid of my red marks, this is also a godsend. Here is a link to the product if interested: [link removed] )

Pros:

Reduces redness and inflammation.

Cons:

May dry your skin if use too much.(put a little drop in cheeks, forehead and chin and distribut it through the entire face).

This is the only product with benzoil peroxide that i can use because my skin is sensitive to it, but this one is great! I use sulfur soap with Lanolin after using this.

Pros:

-Easy application (use a gentle touch)
-Burning/Cleansing feeling during first 2 weeks use. (Could be con for some, but burning means it's working)
-Very low price (Anyone can afford it)
-10% Benzyl Peroxide doesn't mess around (if you tough through the burning, this stuff DESTROYS acne causing bacteria)
-Removes the dirty layers of skin and leaves your dirty pores unclogged and supple

Cons:

-This is only a con if you're not smart. Benzyl peroxide WILL and is supposed to dry your skin out. Make sure you wait 10 minutes after applying, and then use a non comodegenic moisturizer. (Cetaphil is the best and is sold at Fred Meyer, grab the facial one)

All those suffering from acne must read this. Acne causing bacteria is relentless, and those of us that have acne need to realize it will be with us for many many years to come. The only way to eliminate it, is to grab a Facial Cleanser from the store (Step 1), Oxy Maximum (Step 2), and Cetaphil Facial moisturizer (Step 3). This method works guaranteed ONLY if you do it twice a day and NEVER STOP. EVER. You wet your face down with warm water, put 2 pumps of cleanser in your hands, lather up, gently apply to entire face for 10 seconds, wash off with warm water. Lightly pat dry, then wait 5 minutes to dry. Let your face get tight, and dry out a bit. Then shake up the oxy bottle a bit, and squeeze out a nickel size onto your finger and very lightly apply to entire face. If some of it doesn't completely absorb, its okay, leave it, wait 10 minutes after using Oxy. Your face will be burning, and red, but you MUST know, this is what Benzyl does for the first couple weeks. It WILL go away. After 10 minutes, put a little more than a nickel size of Cetaphil in your hands and lightly/generously apply to your entire face. Wash your hands in-between the cleanser, oxy, and moisturize. Do this in the morning, and at night. I guarantee in 1 month, you will be shocked and scream out loud how much you love Benzyl Peroxide. I have had acne for 8 years now and I am finally killing all of it. I have a soft and clean face. But I will NOT stop using it. Any more questions? Email me, mobproductionsmatt@[link removed]

Pros:

-Makes skin feel clean

I've been using this product for a few weeks now, & it does seem like a good product. I think it has helped my skin not produce more pimples, but it hasn't really helped my existing ones go away.

Pros:

works

Cons:

must leave it on awkwardly for a few minutes, doesnt completely get rid of acne

truthfully, this stuff really is great. it gets rid inflamed zits real easily...but if you get more noninflamed acne, it works to some extent but not as effective as using a 10 percent bp gel instead of wash, despite leaving it on. i dont get much inflamed acne, mainly white heads and blackheads. it works on those nose blackheads, but not anywhere else. it kind of gets rid of some white heads but like i said, not to a satisfactory extent. it was good enough that i used the entire bottle, but i think i'll stick to bp gels and treatments instead

Pros:

No stinging, or bad smell. Very effective in a very short time. No drying, when used with Cetaphil lotion.

Cons:

None!

I love this product, my face feels very clean and fresh. I can now have confidence in my skin again. I am 33, so this is not just for teenagers. I didn't even have acne as a teenager, but got it within the last year. I am very happy I found this.

Pros:

I feel the pro's for this product is that you can immediately see it working. Also, I have black marks on my face and they appear to be fading, slowly, but they are fading! When a new pimple pops up it immediately starts working.

Cons:

It dries your face out because it's 10% rather than 2.5% or 5%; however, I use a moisturizer for this.

When I first started seeing a dermatologist they recommended a face wash with 10% benzoyl peroxide. Somewhere down the line I thought I should use salicidic acid and my face went down hill from that. So the bottom line is that if you want a great face wash definitely choose this product. Follow it up with CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion and you will be great. Also Oxy has a 10% benzoyl peroxide medicated acne gel that I use at night and its great. use the face wash about 2-3 times a day and you will see improvements!

Oxy is LIFE CHANGING! Best product I have ever used!!!
I was just a regular old girl with a couple pimples, until about last week when huge, almost face-deforming pimples began to erupt on my forehead and in my t-zone. I sort of freaked out thinking I was going to have to deal with these massive things, especially since I have already been washing my face once a night and thought there wasn't much else I could do. It is very easy to get lost in all of the acne treatment products, so i just to a gander over at Target to see if anything really jumped out at me. I didn't want something over-publicized and I just wanted something I could trust. Below Clearasil in the isle I noticed a bottle titled OXY. Naturally, I wanted to learn more and looked on google to see what others had to say on the product, and heard mostly all good things! I bought this product 3 days ago and have only been using it once a night for the past 3 days, and the huge zits that once corrupted my pores are now barely visible! They were swollen and red before and now, only after a couple on nights, the biggest one is GONE!!!!! I just wanted a fast working, acne-treating cream and that's just what I got!!!!!! Heads up though, if you didn't know this before, all treatments that are working should always get a little worse before they improve your skin. I do see a couple little pimples, but its NOTHING compared to what I had before! Just leave the little zits, because how it works is it brings the oils that were deep in your pores and to the surface. Then, as you continue to use the product, your skin will clear away everything! I love this product more than anything I have ever tried before, and would recommend 100%!!!!!!!!!!
