Pros:

Totally cleared up my skin! I love it!

Cons:

I did gain a bit of weight, but only about 5 lbs, which for clear skin I can live with. Unfortunately I am self employed and with no work supplied health care I pay $42 per month for this product.

I love it. I have been using it since I was 16 strictly for help with severe acne. I use it daily in addition to Vichy's Normaderm skincare line, and my skin looks model-perfect. I am 30 years old and last year as well as when I was 25 my Doc tried taking me off of it and putting me on Tricyclene and acne came right back. So I am sticking to my Diane 35 as long as I can get a perscription for it :)

Pros:

This product worked wonders on my skin. My usually oily hair and skin became dryer. Regulated and shorter periods. Fewer cramps.

Cons:

Not sure. At first I didn't think they're were any. But after reading these reviews I seem to have all the negative side effets that everyone else has. I just didn't attribute it to the pill.

This pill is amazing for clearing up skin. In the last few years I have developed severe anxiety and depression. I am now on an antidepressant. I have struggled with my weight, my breast have grown, I have lost my sex drive and have in the last week noticed spider viens on my legs, and I'm only 27. I didn't attribute all of these things happening because of Diane 35. It was not the first pill I had been on and I've always been a little anxious. After I had a total break down and went on antidepressants I started looking at my life and trying to find reasons for why this happened to me. This is what led me to start researching Diane 35. I was shocked to find that many people identified depression, anxiety, weight issues, migranes, and even spider viens as side effects. I'm very happy I found this site and I am now very seriously considering taking myself off this pill. I would recomend this pill to try. If you don't get side effects then it would definatley be worth it.

Pros:

Clearer skin, lighter periods, less period pain, no PMS

Cons:

Slight weight gain, lowered libido

I don't really give a crap what I have to forgo for clear skin I do think Diane has effected my moods somewhat including libido- but I can guarantee my libido and moods would be MUCH worse if I had acne Diane has given me dependance and confidence I would not have otherwise said I have at least 7 friends also on Diane and we all swear by it wholeheartedly

Pros:

Clearer skin, and is a birth control

Cons:

does give me nausea

bottom line; it's treated me the same way any other birth control has. Yasmin has the same pros but doesn't give me nausea. if i go off any birth control whether it's been aless, yasmin, or diane my skin always get worse. Diane however clears it up faster. if you find it does make you sick always take it in the middle of the day with lunch, never at night or in the morning.

Pros:

It is amazing for your skin, but it took 3-4 months for the effects to fully sink in.

Cons:

Bigger breasts (went from B to D), bigger hips, weight gain, bloating

I am about to go off Diane for the first time in 3 years. I love what it has done to my skin- it is now absolutely flawless after originally having a few pimples. I am changing from Diane to the Nuvaring because I am sick of the effects it has had on my weight. My breasts have grown a massive amount and my hips have become larger. I am wanting to have a break from all of these hormones and see whether my weight gain is associated with Diane. If my skin suffers though I will probably go back on it. Sadly, no contraceptive is perfect.

Pros:

Clear skin, fuller breast, thinner hair, *weight gain-- I could use it since I am so skinny*

Cons:

Mood Swings, but nothing drastic

Since, I suffer from PCOS and some horrible symptoms associated with it such as acne, and excess hair. I have used this for 8 mnths now and I must say it does wonder. Prior to being diagnosed with the disease I tried everything such as proactive, murad until I was told it was due to PCOS and nothing seemed to work. This pill is definitely worth the try. I was apprehensive about going on this pill because there are definitely side affects associated with it. Make sure you do research before taking this pill and see if you want to give it a try. Luckily, so far I have been spared of the cons and just had good experience with the pill.

Pros:

Clears skin up excellently, regulates periods and PMS, as well as blood flow. Big difference in body hair which is thinner and lighter on Diane.

Cons:

Water retention, weight gain, very swollen and enlargede breasts. Possible complications with smoking.

Use it for effective clear up but do not stay on it for long. Use it only if weight gain and breasts swelling does not concern you.

Pros:

less oily skin, improvement on the skin, less acne compared to 2 months ago, regular periods

Cons:

having the hunger all the time, constantly eating.

I've had bad acne for 8-9 years. (21 now) I've tried a wellknown pill for 6 months when i was 16, at first it worked, but after 1.5 years acne came back. before taking all the acne treatment, i suggest you to have your hormons tested. they are the biggest problem and no medicine for acne works. thanks to diane, i started to have a better skin, and regular periods, and of course higher self esteem.
