Pros:

Acne cleared up and stayed clear within 3 months of taking drug

Cons:

weight gain

I have been taking it for 4-5 years, can't remember now; works wonders but can't say if my acne will return once i stop

Pros:

Porcelain skin, bigger breasts

Cons:

Quite expensive; if you want to stay beautiful forever, you have to take this pill until the day you die. Once youe get off Diane 35, your acne will be much worse than before you started taking it.

Beauty has its risks and price. If you want to feel confident, enjoy life and look fabulous, stick with Diane35 for all eternity.

Pros:

Clear skin, regular/light & short periods, less pain, overall i've lost weight,

Cons:

Migrains, no sex drive,

I suffered really bad acne all over my body, including my back, chest, shoulders, neck and face. So i started using Diane about 2 1/2 years ago. It took a few months, but it worked great. I was so impressed on how my skin improved. But about a month ago, it seems like my face is started to flare up again. It seems like it stopped working. I don't know why. Maybe i've been on it too long and my body has adapted to it or maybe the regimen has changed?

Pros:

Acne is gone. Scaring from the acne is dramtically reduced. my periods are light, less than 4 days and i am overall a happier person.

Cons:

none

I recommend that you do not give up after a month or two. it took 3 or more months for me to start seeing results but it is worth every minute and every penny.

Pros:

Skin stays absolutely clear

Cons:

Hunger Pangs

I started the pill in early 2006, stopped taking it in 2007 and the acne came back.......i restarted the treatment, and stopped it again last month.........and now acne is back! Think I have to start it again........ Guess it trickles down to the fact whether I want a clear skin or some sort of side effect...I am going with the clear skin!

Pros:

I have had severe acne since I was 16, now 33 and have tried everything... this completely worked and I don't have acne.

Cons:

I have been feeling a little nauseaus, sharp pains in my breasts every once in a while

I will be making an appt w/my doc regarding breast pains... that can't be good. Hopefully I dont have to stop taking it as I dont have any other options left. With all of the self esteem issues I'v had with my acne it's worth it as long as it's taken smartly.

Pros:

CLEARS UP ALL ACNE!!! Bigger boobs.

Cons:

MIGRAINES!!!!

If you are having problems with acne, you should try diane 35. It worked wonders for my skin. I had to stop taking it because of intense migraines.

Looking to forward to trying this out. Diane 35
OK so I haven't tried this yet, but I'm currently on 50 MG of spiro, depo provera and estrofem 1mg. OK here's the thing: Hormones circulate through our blood. So once you stop taking an synethic hormone your body is going to whack. I think if you just detox your body (blood) this would help you a lot in cleansing out the hormones. Even just in general. Also, Im assuming that this bc doesn't contain a progestin? I'm currently on depo provera so that I can take some form of estrogen. I live in the US so I'll have to get it some other way. I was going to get a packet of EE, stay on spiro and depo. But I think Ill switch Spiro for Diane 35 so I'll have the EE and a different form of anti androgen. f.y.I I've read that if you have too much estrogen it can turn to testosterone? This is from a forum: However, if you are not on androgen blockers and start to put oestrogen into your system your body may respond by producing more testosterone.   The higher the E possibly more response to produce T.   Some clinics and some professional are in a habit of reporting information in an inaccurate way to 'receive' your attention. I'll post an update once I start taking it. Wish me luck.

Pros:

Period flow greatly reduced
Reduced Acne

Cons:

You still get your period (as opposed to some other contraceptions)

I have been on this drug for 15 years with no issues. I have tired other forms of contraception but none suit my body like Diane 35. Compared with other contraceptive pills I have been on it reduces my very heavy periods the most, helps with my acne, gives me no breast tenderness or swelling and I have no weight gain. I am currently on Depo Provera (a 3 month contraceptive injection) and I can't wait for it to leave my system so I can get back on Diane 35. Compare with being on Diane 35 I have gained weight, my sex drive has disappeared.

Pros:

no more acne! its my 4th month and i am completely clear of all acne!

Cons:

i have NO sex drive, i have to peal my lip skin 4xs a day, DRY everything. vagina, lips, flesh

awesome skin but you can kiss your sex drive out the door...but for me, i only had to take it for 5 months
