Have you tried juicing everyday? I think that might help. Cucumbers, carrots, celery, beets, and leafy greens twice a day with your probiotics might be something you should look into.

As for vitamin A. I suggest using beta-carotene if you want to supplement. It is a Vit A precursor, your body will convert whatever it needs to Vit A and remove the excess beta-carotene.

Buy beta-carotene. It is a precursor of vitamin A. Your body will use it to make however much vitamin A you need. It is safer than taking straight vitamin A.
