Pictures or not, Im realistic about scaring and lasers. My experience and opinion lies somewhere in between "Laser Doesn't Work, Prove Me Wrong." and "Fraxel is the gold standard blah blah blah".

Its true that each Dr. will push whatever treatment they have in stock, but lasers are proven effective. I probably wouldnt use the boob job doc though.

I think you would do well with Fraxel. My scars used to look similar but have flattened out considerably.

What laser did you get and what were the settings? Lasers certainty dont "do nothing".

Ive had good results with vbeam and fraxel. Didnt have any of the crazy side effects you hear about.

That feeling when you realize youve had acne longer than not.

Acne is pretty well under control but the scarring and texture still really sucks. I decided to go back for more fraxel treatments, meeting my doc tomorrow morning.

Im no expert on Accutane so I dont know exactly what your skin can handle right now. I would talk to your derm about using AHA and possibly working up to peels (glycolic). My derms always pushed trete...

Have you tried using Aquaphor?

I had been using Cetephil moisturizers for a while but decided to buy the CeraVe cream last week and I love it. I always suggest people try adding jojoba and/or rosehip oil too.

Was it fraxel repair? Glycolic peels have been the best thing I have found to help the "orange peel texture".
