-actually moisturizes your skin
-works even if you don't have acne(helps treats the little blemishes)
-makes skin feel super soft

Cons:

The first time I used it I couldn't stop touching my face for how soft it was. Its amazing ! Gives your face a clean feeling. Obviously see the difference in the texture of your skin ANS the appearance.

Pros:

This stuff is amazing! I bought it yesterday, used it once yesterday, twice today and a big pimple right on my face was gone! I am so relived to find a good acne product before school started! Its really cheap too and super effective.

Cons:

Strong smell, not a bad smell, but strong.

If you need a cheap, fast-working astringent, I would really recommend it! It got rid of my acne really fast and didn't dry out my face.

Pros:

Doesn't dry out skin
Scrublet
Kept me mostly clear
Washes well

Cons:

Still broke out from time to time
Seems not to fight oil

This product is pretty good, but not exceptional. I still break out about once a month and usually have at least one blemish on my face. I do believe there are better cleansers out there.

Pros:

Eeduces redness, bumps go down a bit, soothing after the sting fades

Cons:

Atings and burns for a few seconds after you apply it, strong smell

I think its a good product for someone who wants to use natural products, but i'm sure there are chemical products out there that work better.

Pros:

can be used under or over make up
easy to apply
not a strong odor
can apply as much or as little as you want
does help with little spots/pimples

Cons:

doesn't make a difference to big spots
can make skin feel tight
after a while it peels off
over priced considering it doesn't really work

I bought this because I had a huge pimple on my chin which i needed to get rid of, and had a day to do so. I don't really get pimples so i went out to buy something quick, this product claims to reduce the pimple in 4 hours, and says the pimple will basically be gone in 4 hours. This is not true, i have been applying it for 2 days and have been putting quite a bit on very frequently, and there's no change what so ever, it makes me skin on my chin feel dry but the spot is still there - i don't recommend this product, not if you want a quick fix.

Finding a Doctor

The right dermatologist can make a big difference to your patient experience and the success of your acne treatment plan. Here are the steps to find a dermatologist who is a good fit:

  1. Use the search feature on the American Academy of Dermatology website to look for board-certified dermatologists in your area, and filter the search results for doctors with a special interest in treating acne.
  2. Read online patient reviews of any dermatologists you are considering and ask people you know whether they have any experience with these dermatologists.
  3. Do your research and go to your first appointment with questions prepared.
  4. Listen to what your gut feeling tells you once you see a dermatologist in person. If you are not completely comfortable, try a different dermatologist.

Finding a Doctor

Only a select few plastic surgeons specialize in acne scar revision surgery. Be certain to find a provider who specializes in acne scar repair and who is passionate and experienced in this area.

Be sure to:

  • Look at before and after photos, the more the better, especially patients with similar scarring to your own.
  • Be realistic about results. Look for improvement, not a cure.

Questions to ask a potential scar revision specialist:

  • Are you board certified? Be certain that they are board certified.
  • How long have you been performing these procedures? Normally, the more experience the better, however, some younger surgeons may be more on top of the latest procedures.
  • Can I speak to some of your other patients? Ask for references for several patients who had similar scarring and speak to them about the process and their satisfaction with results.

Red flags:

  • Their story changes: As you discuss different treatment options, if they tend to change their mind easily, or agree with whatever you say, consider this a red flag. A confident, experienced surgeon will possess strong, unwavering opinions.
  • Your gut tells you "no": Trust your gut. If you just don't feel that the doctor is the right fit, trust that and move on. On the other hand, if you feel they are the perfect specialist for you, trust that feeling.
