Pros:

Reduces the size of pimples and redness without drying it out. Smells ok.

Cons:

When you put it on, it feels like you need to put on more because it takes a while to absorb into your skin. You're going to end up finishing the whole thing within a month.

I'm a dude. So this is the only product I use on my face. You have to apply a lot(on affected areas) twice a day for it to work.... They need to make more products that has all in 1 stuff because I have no time for anything else.

Pros:

•Smells good.
•Clear some of the acne on the back and chest.

Cons:

•Takes a little while to kick in.
•Makes the skin a little dry.

Well I have had chest and back acne for awhile and then found this at walmart and decided to give it a try. So far it has kind of cleared my skin up, but not so much. You have to be patient with it.

Pros:

for spot treatment....acne solutions dries up pimples fast! i also apply this to my whole face once every two weeks and from the effects of salicylic acid i have been able to shed my dry skin problem...especially the winter dry skin problem.

Cons:

the smell isn't the best but COME ON PEOPLE...it works so I'm not ABOUT to complain!

I've been around the block with acne. I've suffered with acne since I was 22 and am now my late 40's. Try BB Acne Solutions! I love it! EXCELLENT for spot treatment! Pimples heal in days verses weeks and months. Also, my face has a much healthier glow. I have tried VERY expensive brands bought at department stores and from my plastic surgeon (I've had a lot of skin cancer) along with many peels and honestly...this has worked the best. This is the MOST affordable product out there with such amazing results. Remember...more is not better though...use this sparingly as you don't want to strip ALL of your natural oils away. Also note that we all have different reasons for suffering from acne...if this product isn't your solution...don't blame the product...it may simply not work for you particular problem.

Pros:

Visually noticable within a few days

Cons:

Stingy, but its benzoyl Peroxide. its nothing new

bottom line is every dumbass who wrote a review doesnt understand acne products. ITS NOT SUPPOSED TO WORK WITHIN A FEW DAYS!!!! this makes you break out, then CLEARS IT. for f**ks sake, it makes them worse to clear them. Its not even technically worse, its just hidden ones under your skin that you cant see yet, your BOUND to get them. this works OVER TIME you cant give it a day. if your face turns red, STOP USING SO MUCH.

Pros:

- it worked fine at first.

Cons:

- 3 days later I had a really bad allergic reaction!
- made skin SUPER dry
- burnt when i first put it on

Had a HUGE allergic reaction to it! Both sides of my neck are swollen, blood red, itches like crazy, and it starting making my ears hurt! I ended up at the doctors office getting a steriod shot...but I must say that the Clean & Clear company did give me my money back. I've used their products before and never had a allergic reaction! I have little bimps on my lips and face and it made my skin SUPER dry! I now have two huge things on the sides of my neck with bimps that hurts like crazy. Try if you dare.....

Finding a Doctor

The right dermatologist can make a big difference to your patient experience and the success of your acne treatment plan. Here are the steps to find a dermatologist who is a good fit:

  1. Use the search feature on the American Academy of Dermatology website to look for board-certified dermatologists in your area, and filter the search results for doctors with a special interest in treating acne.
  2. Read online patient reviews of any dermatologists you are considering and ask people you know whether they have any experience with these dermatologists.
  3. Do your research and go to your first appointment with questions prepared.
  4. Listen to what your gut feeling tells you once you see a dermatologist in person. If you are not completely comfortable, try a different dermatologist.

Finding a Doctor

Only a select few plastic surgeons specialize in acne scar revision surgery. Be certain to find a provider who specializes in acne scar repair and who is passionate and experienced in this area.

Be sure to:

  • Look at before and after photos, the more the better, especially patients with similar scarring to your own.
  • Be realistic about results. Look for improvement, not a cure.

Questions to ask a potential scar revision specialist:

  • Are you board certified? Be certain that they are board certified.
  • How long have you been performing these procedures? Normally, the more experience the better, however, some younger surgeons may be more on top of the latest procedures.
  • Can I speak to some of your other patients? Ask for references for several patients who had similar scarring and speak to them about the process and their satisfaction with results.

Red flags:

  • Their story changes: As you discuss different treatment options, if they tend to change their mind easily, or agree with whatever you say, consider this a red flag. A confident, experienced surgeon will possess strong, unwavering opinions.
  • Your gut tells you "no": Trust your gut. If you just don't feel that the doctor is the right fit, trust that and move on. On the other hand, if you feel they are the perfect specialist for you, trust that feeling.
