Side Effects

Cons:
leaves skin dry sometimes (just need a moisturizer); takes a LONG time to see dramatic results; the lotion is runny.
Don't just stop using it if you don't see any results. Give it at least a month and see what happens. I initially used it (clindamycin phosphate solution) for two weeks. I didn't see any change so i stopped. Went back to benzyol and realized i felt more comfortable with clinda. on; benzyol leaves my skin all tight and dry =P but yeah, give it some time to work.

it got rid of my acne.cleared some of my bumps too!!

i been using clindamycin gel 1% but made my skin a little oily changed to lotion...and im so glad dat i found this product i have spots left from the acne but this is a miracle i barely brake out i dont get any more nasty whitehead or pimples ill just have one...still working on my spots tho...it made my spot a little less darker ...so i hope ill end this nasty nightmare with this product :)

Pros:
Worked good for the first 2 days
Cons:
It was working good, and i was happy.
but just like other medications i've tried, the acne slowly came back in the exact same places.
Made my skin very very dry and red as I kept using it.
Could work for you, I've read good things from some people.
But if you have sensitive dry/oily skin this is not for you.

I used clindamycin (Dalicin?) from fall 2003 till about the summer of 2005. In that period of time, not only did my skin clear up. but I led a whole different lifestyle. However, that all came crashing down that summer when I found out the reality of antiobiotic resistance. I am interested in trying the product again; it's 3 yrs later and I still haven't outgrown my acne, so i want to give it one more shot because this time I am prepared for antibiotic resistance. The only thing is, since my skin's been resistant to it in the past, will it still wrk at the same level as it did before? I'm assuming it will since I havent used the product on my skin in 3 yrs, but lets see. My plan for this time is to use it for a year, (hopefully) get clear and switch to benzamycin, which elso worked for my skin. I'll use that for a couple of months, and then switch back to clindamycin again.

Pros:
it really hasn't helped much
Cons:
it dried my skin for a while, then it went back to its oily self
I've been using this for a few months and I can honestly say I haven't seen any change or improvement with my skin, I maybe breaking out because of it

I just started using the gel
and it felt great on my skin.
I believe it all depends on your skin.
I just hope-in it works and i never had acne until this year. I tried everything other the counter prouducts Which sucks and just a waste of my money. I believe Aveeno products work great for mild acne.
I have acne in the fore head. Which hope that this product works. Worth a try.

Pros:
It is the only product that cleared up my skin completely. I have tried both murad, and proactiv, but neither gave me good results, just exacerbated my acne.
Cons:
although it can make your skin dry, I use it in conjunction with a light weight mousturizer, so I do not have that problem.
If you have tried everything else like proactiv or murad, which does not work for everyone try asking a doctor for prescription medication. The acne medication will be stronger. Plus this medication is not expensive like differin...so i recommend it over differin.

Pros:
It healed my pimples real quick like a month and people started noticing my face clearing up.
Cons:
I still get a pimple every once in a while but its all cool.

Pros:
It takes about two months to start working well. I've been mostly clear since then. Still get a few small pimples sometimes.
Cons:
Oily skin
Nothing over the counter worked for me. It works if you use it as directed. I use once in the morning and once at night.

Pros:
kept pimples away
Cons:
DRYING made my face hurt and feel tight. the stuff burned going on.
Only for people with tons of pimples (does NOTHING for blackheads) or oily skin types. Expensive.
Pros:
dries up on skin rather nicely; don't feel that sticky moisture that most topicals have; helps to stop those forming (under the skin) pimples.
