Pros:

Improved skin in a week. It is clearer and smoother. Less red. Smells okay and quick to use. Fantastic results!

Cons:

The price is abit too much. £30 for the set of 3- cleanser, clarifying lotion and moisturiser. Not usual sizes either. At first it smarted my skin so just used the clarifying lotion once a day- now i use it twice.

The price is an issue, but money well spent. I haven't been so confident about my skin in years. It's less red and feels great. If I don't use it, my skin feels greasy. When I use it, it feels like my skin is really, really clean!

Pros:

seems to work

Cons:

small bottles, expensive products!

Ok so I bought the 3 steps today. I used everything on the planet, including Accutane which was hard because of the side effects. I was until this morning using the 3 step from Clinique and I didn't feel the mousse cleanser actually cleaned and the moisturizer didnt moisturize either. But remember acne has a lot of origins, my dad is over 5O and has had acne for 35years! And I don't understand people that use it for 7days and say it doesn't work! people give time to time! i mean it's like a diet: do you really think you can lose 4pounds in 7days? its the same for new products you use! your skin just has to get used to react in a positive way. and there also are a lot of circumstances that can get to breakouts: stress, humidity, bad and fat food..Same for people that use it from time to time or complain it takes too much time! how do you expect the products to work if you only do half of the required steps?! Proactiv works but it's not magical: you gotta work on it to!

Pros:

control oil, makes my skin smooth

Cons:

twice daily dried my skin...

The first week I started using this product it dried my skin. My skin felt tight and itchy. I went back at Clinique and ask them for a moisturizer that would work well with the kit and they gave me Moisture Surge which is a gel that not oily at all. Since then I've been using it twice a day with no problem and up to know it help alot even though it did not clear it all. I've only been using it for 3-4 weeks now wo i'll give it more time.

Pros:

Gave my skin a much smoother surface overnight. Fast acting, not nearly as drying or irritating as Persa-Gel 10.

Cons:

None.

Get it. Also, It might cause minor stinging if you have very sensitive skin.

Cons:

eh if you acne is very moderate it may work

Pros:

Cleared my acne, left my skin supersoft, easy to use

Cons:

Makes my eyes water.

This product WORKS. It cleared my acne in about a week, left my skin really soft, and it got me though my period without a single bump. It's super affordable, and whenever people compliment my skin, I tell them to use Nature's Cure. The only bad thing is that it makes my eyes water, but a small price to pay for such awesome skin.

Pros:

made my skin all the same color rather than blochy

Cons:

after first day my face looked like i'd been sitting in the sun for 2days! i can't open my eyes all the way, and it hurts to smile(skin is swollen all over)around my mouth and on my forehead i have these tiny whiteheads(never had one b4)

please do not purchase this product! You will regret it. i have seen reviews on other sites that say that the sunburn feeling is o.k.!!?? my face is so red and swollen i cannot leave my house, and also can not put on makeup

Cons:

ABSOLUTELY NONE!!

I WAS a very frustrated 50 yr. old menopausal~acne proned~oily~flakey~& sensitive skinned woman. I was desparetly researching products & came across "clearandsmooth" on ebay & I'm so thrilled that I did! Why do I continue using their products? RESULTS!! THEY WORK!! And that's all I really care about. I feel that if you're really concerned & upset about your complexion as I was, that you will take the extra time everyday to devote to cleansing your face & giving the products a FAIR chance to work. I don't know these wonderful people from adam, but I so appreciate the time & effort they've made to create & provide excellant products for hurting people! I urge you to just PLEASE give them a try! All you can lose is ACNE!!~~Betty :)

Pros:

It doesn't dry out my skin! Gets rid of acne efficiently and makes my skin feel healthier!

Cons:

It cost way too much for how much you get per tube. I wish they make a larger bottle also...

Best BP product out there.

Finding a Doctor

The right dermatologist can make a big difference to your patient experience and the success of your acne treatment plan. Here are the steps to find a dermatologist who is a good fit:

  1. Use the search feature on the American Academy of Dermatology website to look for board-certified dermatologists in your area, and filter the search results for doctors with a special interest in treating acne.
  2. Read online patient reviews of any dermatologists you are considering and ask people you know whether they have any experience with these dermatologists.
  3. Do your research and go to your first appointment with questions prepared.
  4. Listen to what your gut feeling tells you once you see a dermatologist in person. If you are not completely comfortable, try a different dermatologist.

Finding a Doctor

Only a select few plastic surgeons specialize in acne scar revision surgery. Be certain to find a provider who specializes in acne scar repair and who is passionate and experienced in this area.

Be sure to:

  • Look at before and after photos, the more the better, especially patients with similar scarring to your own.
  • Be realistic about results. Look for improvement, not a cure.

Questions to ask a potential scar revision specialist:

  • Are you board certified? Be certain that they are board certified.
  • How long have you been performing these procedures? Normally, the more experience the better, however, some younger surgeons may be more on top of the latest procedures.
  • Can I speak to some of your other patients? Ask for references for several patients who had similar scarring and speak to them about the process and their satisfaction with results.

Red flags:

  • Their story changes: As you discuss different treatment options, if they tend to change their mind easily, or agree with whatever you say, consider this a red flag. A confident, experienced surgeon will possess strong, unwavering opinions.
  • Your gut tells you "no": Trust your gut. If you just don't feel that the doctor is the right fit, trust that and move on. On the other hand, if you feel they are the perfect specialist for you, trust that feeling.
