Pros:

The pills are natural and they don't taste bad when you chew them. The BP is nice to use when I have a stubborn pimple, and I don't have to use it daily.

Cons:

Nothing.

I love this product! I went through the worst break out I had ever experienced due to stress, and I was so frustrated because I take really good care of my skin, yet I was developing acne. I was starting to lose hope because nothing seemed to work. I found Nature's Cure about a month ago and my skin started clearing up within the first week. Now my skin is clear and beautiful. Of course I get a zit or two now and then, but they don't spread and they diappear within a few days. I recommend at least trying this product.

Pros:

Great results; Did not over-dry my face; Good price

Cons:

Can stain clothes and towels

Have faith in this product - it does take time to work! My skin is completely clear today but it took 2 months. My acne did get worse at first, but persistence paid off. You must follow the whole regimen every day, every time. Also, it is very important to use lotion after every use as well. This keeps your skin from getting dried out. I am 21 years old and live in Arizona. I'm not a spokesperson or anything, I just told myself that if this product really worked I would come write a review so others would know.

Pros:

It works very well it always clears up my breakouts The mask works wonders!!

Cons:

Makes my face red and dry

The bad thing is that is makes my skin red, amd dry and it's pretty expensive and i didnt have money to by it once and I broke out so if you stop using it it will all come back the same if not worse!! and the toner smells kind of funny!

Pros:

None.

Cons:

Doesn't help. Waste of money.

I've been using this, "3 day clear skin" creme for about 2 weeks now and has done nothing to my face. It didn't make it worse but it didn't help either, my face looks exactly the same as before i started using it. P.S. I'm a guy, so I don't know if thats matters or not.

Pros:

I have had the worst kind of acne and it took me just a couple of weeks to get rid of it.

Cons:

Have to use it every day.

Proactiv for the win!

Pros:

Feels soothing, immediatley starts fighting breakouts, is very affordable!

Cons:

I cant think of any :)

This is without a doubt one of the best products I have ever tried! In 1 day its done what other products couldnt do in months. I have tried so many different lines of products and they all either make my skin too dry or too oily. I really like how natures cure seperates out the ingrediants for the females and males because our skin is not the same and alot of products suppose that it is. Its a very fast sysem because all you have to do is take the tablet morning and night and wash your face with your fav. cleanser, then finish with the vanishing cream. Its that easy! The cream works really quickly and the chewable tablets are tasteless.....so what do you have to lose? Your acne? P.s And if you end up not likeing this product you just send it back and get a full refund!!!

Pros:

Clears acne well and pretty quick results

Cons:

makes skin dry

I used to breakout real bad and couldn't find a good face wash, and my cousin had told me about OXY so I tryed it. In about a week I was pleased with the results it gave me. I have oily skin so I kind of have to keep up with washing or else... it does make my face a bit dry, but overall i get pleased with the results.

Pros:

n/a

Cons:

Didn't Work at all

Ive been using the acne solutions for almost 6 weeks now and my skin has not improved one bit. I am constantly getting huge pimples on the side of my face which is most likely caused by hormones. I think this system is really only ment for those lucky people that have very light acne. I will be going back onto antibiotics as they gave me great results.
April 3, 2009

Pros:

kind of reduced acne a tad

Cons:

didn't really notice a huge difference, had major breakouts as soon as i didn't use it

i've been using this product for about 2 months now, and i haven't really noticed a huge difference in my acne, which is moderate to severe. there's been maybe a slight difference, but nothing noticeable. i do notice a slight difference the morning after using the refining mask, but by the end of the day, i'm right back at square one. and you can only use it every 2-3 days, so it's pretty useless. i'm thinking of giving it up and going back to neutrogena/clearsil when it runs out.

Finding a Doctor

The right dermatologist can make a big difference to your patient experience and the success of your acne treatment plan. Here are the steps to find a dermatologist who is a good fit:

  1. Use the search feature on the American Academy of Dermatology website to look for board-certified dermatologists in your area, and filter the search results for doctors with a special interest in treating acne.
  2. Read online patient reviews of any dermatologists you are considering and ask people you know whether they have any experience with these dermatologists.
  3. Do your research and go to your first appointment with questions prepared.
  4. Listen to what your gut feeling tells you once you see a dermatologist in person. If you are not completely comfortable, try a different dermatologist.

Finding a Doctor

Only a select few plastic surgeons specialize in acne scar revision surgery. Be certain to find a provider who specializes in acne scar repair and who is passionate and experienced in this area.

Be sure to:

  • Look at before and after photos, the more the better, especially patients with similar scarring to your own.
  • Be realistic about results. Look for improvement, not a cure.

Questions to ask a potential scar revision specialist:

  • Are you board certified? Be certain that they are board certified.
  • How long have you been performing these procedures? Normally, the more experience the better, however, some younger surgeons may be more on top of the latest procedures.
  • Can I speak to some of your other patients? Ask for references for several patients who had similar scarring and speak to them about the process and their satisfaction with results.

Red flags:

  • Their story changes: As you discuss different treatment options, if they tend to change their mind easily, or agree with whatever you say, consider this a red flag. A confident, experienced surgeon will possess strong, unwavering opinions.
  • Your gut tells you "no": Trust your gut. If you just don't feel that the doctor is the right fit, trust that and move on. On the other hand, if you feel they are the perfect specialist for you, trust that feeling.
