Pros:

nothing.

Cons:

Expensive. It said on-line "Great for all skin" which was great since I have somewhat sensitive skin. so after I put it on once my entire face started to burn and turn unbearable itchy my face turned blood red. I had to take allergy drowsy medicine because my reaction was so bad I couldn't stay awake. lasted for weeks, Worst product ever.Horrible, horrible, horrible. Also always a hassle to send it back or problems with them sending you more and charging you without you ordering it!

It isn't worth-it. Just because they hire big actors or famous people to say on tv how "great" their product is doesn't make it so. Their being PAID to say they use their product and it's so great. In reality I doubt any of them actually use it. Also if people want something to clear their face there are tons of 3 steps products consisting of facial wash, scrub and cleanser in stores, cheaper, easier access and works better. For example, I use the brand "Simple" and my face is perfectly clear, and Simple is so gentle on your skin. wayyyy better. and cheaper! no hassle.

Pros:

none

Cons:

doesn't do anything to help acne just made face really dry after washing and then greasy later on in the day they also trick you if you order offline and charge you every month and send you new kit even when you didn't order it I ordered it 2 years ago and they still call and hassle me about reordering

does not work
July 22, 2012

Pros:

-Does clear a majority of acne

-Noticeable difference

-Three free gifts!

Cons:

-A little expensive ($50)

-Must keep up the routine

-Dries/tightens skin for about 10 minutes

Yes I would recommend this regimen because it cleared almost all noticeable acne, but did not make it "perfectly clear". Still had some beneath the surface redness, but still clears all bumps.

Pros:

Mostly natural ingredients

Cons:

Bleaching
Mild irritation
Doesn't prevent or relieve breakouts

This product is just a waste of money to me. It wasn't a bad product that worsened my acne, thank god it didn't, but it also didn't make any difference or show any improvements. I believe i gave it 3 weeks until i found The Regimen

Rude Customer Service

My son tried this system for 4 months. There was no change in 4 months actually got worse. Cancelled order and still got billed for 2 months. People at customer service were rude and no help at all. Product made sons skin red and irritated. Will bleach any fabric it comes into contact with.

Pros:

makes acne smaller the first use
cheap
brings to head

Cons:

doesnt fully get rid of pimple
dries white
drying
bleaches clothes and pillows

I decided to buy this after my face broke out into very serious acne.... i picked it up for 8.00 at my local drug store. The first night i used it my face became very dry and peely , but i was happy that my pimples were shrinking but it left weird red pitted marks on my face..... After the 4th week of use all the pimples it had shrunk came back again with a vengance.since im brown complexion i cannot use this in the day time because it leaves a white residue on my skin no matter how much i rub it in or use moisturizer. This may work for someone with the occasional break out , but for someone with real tough acne like cysts or anything bigger than a light pimple ...i wont suggest it.... i took this to my new derm and she basically shook her head and asked me did i want her to dispose of it for me,told me it would of never worked on my skin because it is also filled with cheap ingridients.... you get what you pay for.

Pros:

every single bit is a pro

Cons:

the only thing that may be a con is that it may bleach some stuff. though i barely have a problem with it.

The bottom line is that i cannot live without this product it is freaking amazing. Mind blowing. i have tried a bunch of stuff and this product is just different in an amazing way. Also don't be afraid of buying it. they have money back guaranteed and they have an amazing team. Once i order a bunch of stuff, but the expiration of the products was due 5 months from the day i got the products. the 16 oz benzoyl peroxide last around 3 whole months using it every single day and some days in the back as well.the problem was that i ordered soo many things. So i contacted them and they were amazing at dealing with the problem.

Pros:

-Feels SO refreshing after washed off
-Gentle, good for sensitive skin
-Does not dry out your skin at all, leaves it feeling so soft
-Does not make your skin oily

Cons:

-Not very effective on acne

I was dying to try this product out because I saw so many good reviews on it. I really love the tingly sensation after being washed off. I really like that about Clean and Clear cleansers. It was a nice creamy consistency, and gentle. But after using the entire bottle, not much happened to my acne.
June 2, 2012

Pros:

works well
didn't re-break out my skin

Cons:

really expensive
can make skin very sensitive if you use too much

I liked this cleanser but it was way to expensive so I asked my dermatologist and she gave me a scrip for the generic form and it works the same :) they are the 6% cloths and sometimes I rip them apart because too much makes my skin really sensitive. I use this with the Epiduo gel at night and another topical gel in the morning, along with Cetaphil as a moisturizer. It has definitley cleared up the majority of my acne, minus a few zits here and there.

Finding a Doctor

The right dermatologist can make a big difference to your patient experience and the success of your acne treatment plan. Here are the steps to find a dermatologist who is a good fit:

  1. Use the search feature on the American Academy of Dermatology website to look for board-certified dermatologists in your area, and filter the search results for doctors with a special interest in treating acne.
  2. Read online patient reviews of any dermatologists you are considering and ask people you know whether they have any experience with these dermatologists.
  3. Do your research and go to your first appointment with questions prepared.
  4. Listen to what your gut feeling tells you once you see a dermatologist in person. If you are not completely comfortable, try a different dermatologist.

Finding a Doctor

Only a select few plastic surgeons specialize in acne scar revision surgery. Be certain to find a provider who specializes in acne scar repair and who is passionate and experienced in this area.

Be sure to:

  • Look at before and after photos, the more the better, especially patients with similar scarring to your own.
  • Be realistic about results. Look for improvement, not a cure.

Questions to ask a potential scar revision specialist:

  • Are you board certified? Be certain that they are board certified.
  • How long have you been performing these procedures? Normally, the more experience the better, however, some younger surgeons may be more on top of the latest procedures.
  • Can I speak to some of your other patients? Ask for references for several patients who had similar scarring and speak to them about the process and their satisfaction with results.

Red flags:

  • Their story changes: As you discuss different treatment options, if they tend to change their mind easily, or agree with whatever you say, consider this a red flag. A confident, experienced surgeon will possess strong, unwavering opinions.
  • Your gut tells you "no": Trust your gut. If you just don't feel that the doctor is the right fit, trust that and move on. On the other hand, if you feel they are the perfect specialist for you, trust that feeling.
