IS THIS A SCAM?!
I found this product because so many people on youtube were using it and recommended this product. At first I though it was a scam, but I was desperate so tried it anyway. I have very oily and sensitive skin and was scared that more acne would come from using this. I have to say that this is my favorite product and it actually works. I was surprised that my acne cleared up so fast. I first started using this product in late june of 2014 and saw results immediately in late August of 2014, so much that most of my acne was actually gone. I'm still using it to this day, but now I just use the treatment and whatever cleanser and moisturizer I like to use. If you think this is a scam its really not, and has honestly changed my view, and I have clearer skin. I seriously live by this product.

Kinda works
It works like any spot treatment should. Because for me, a spot is my entire face, I apply this to my entire face. Sometimes if I don't rub it in well enough, there will be a residue. My face doesn't dry out too much with it, but it is used to BP heavy products.

This is worth a shot.
I used this product for over a year and it really helped keep breakouts at bay. I would only breakout during my period or very stressful times. But then it stopped working so well, not sure if it was because they took out the microbeads or because I might have gotten lax with the regimen, or both. Might go back to it if I can't find a better solution soon.

For the First Time in My Life
For the first time in my life, I can honestly say that this treatment provides the best results I have ever seen. I have tried everything. I used to have a cleanser and a treatment and a lotion. Changing one thing at a time or using just one of the three for sometimes weeks at a time to figure out what does and doesn't work "long term" was wasting so much time, and took so much of my money and effort! With this treatment, I can stop searching. Thank you for giving me the key to clarity!

Wouldn't Recommend
When I fist bought this product, I was very excited to try it out. As soon as I got home I washed my face with it and my face felt very numb. I wasn't completely sure if this product was the cause so I continued to use it only to find out that my face was getting worse. My face was numb and my skin had a scaly, dry texture that was extremely uncomfortable. If I tried to pick off the scaly pieces my face would start leaking puss or some sort of sticky liquid.. I even considered calling the doctor but it started to go away 2 days later. Maybe it's just my expirience or an allergic reaction, but I would not recommend this to anyone.

Has this happened to you??
It's the beginning of 2 weeks using the full regime and my face has cleared beautifully but I'm noticing my face is now darker than the rest of my skin tone.. I have a Olive skin tone so it's not like my face doesn't turn red when irritated... Contemplating whether I should continue with the treatment. Has anyone else experience this??

Oh my goodness yes! I have been using the full regimen for a week and I no new pimples have formed but my face seems dirty. It is darker than the rest of my body and I think I should exfoliate but idk.

Happened to me also. I've been using this and the regimen and noticed that my skin color seems to be darker. Right now I'm looking for skin brightening/lightening products which would hopefully help me get back my original color lol and to also lighten my red spots :(

Maybe you tanned a little because BP makes you more sensitive to UV rays?
May 24, 2016
i experienced the same thing! i have an olive skin tone and i noticed around my mouth and chin area that my skin colour had darkened! i lowered my BP dosage and moisturized the area regularly with the moisturizer that it comes with and after 2 days i noticed that it gradually started to go back to its normal colour again. i've been using it for a week. i guess it because our faces don't go red/pink so when our skin is irritated and trying to adjust it just appears darker, but as your skin adjusts the colour should go back to normal

Do you guys use sunscreen? I've been using the cleanser & BP only for a month, I did notice that my cheeks but only where I applied the BP was a little darker than the rest of my face. I think it was because I forgot to use sunscreen that day and after applying my moisturizer a few times it went away. Use Sunscreen guys!

Edit: It could also be because of the moisturizer containing oil, or if you use oil to moisturize. From experience when I was using coconut oil as a moisturizer my face turned dark and it looked dirty as you mentioned. As soon as I stopped using it and exfoliated my face went back to normal, so it could be lack of sunscreen or oil buildup.

Good spot treatment as well.
I don't have acne anymore but I sometimes get from time to time and this works as a good spot treatment for them.

Finding a Doctor

The right dermatologist can make a big difference to your patient experience and the success of your acne treatment plan. Here are the steps to find a dermatologist who is a good fit:

  1. Use the search feature on the American Academy of Dermatology website to look for board-certified dermatologists in your area, and filter the search results for doctors with a special interest in treating acne.
  2. Read online patient reviews of any dermatologists you are considering and ask people you know whether they have any experience with these dermatologists.
  3. Do your research and go to your first appointment with questions prepared.
  4. Listen to what your gut feeling tells you once you see a dermatologist in person. If you are not completely comfortable, try a different dermatologist.

Finding a Doctor

Only a select few plastic surgeons specialize in acne scar revision surgery. Be certain to find a provider who specializes in acne scar repair and who is passionate and experienced in this area.

Be sure to:

  • Look at before and after photos, the more the better, especially patients with similar scarring to your own.
  • Be realistic about results. Look for improvement, not a cure.

Questions to ask a potential scar revision specialist:

  • Are you board certified? Be certain that they are board certified.
  • How long have you been performing these procedures? Normally, the more experience the better, however, some younger surgeons may be more on top of the latest procedures.
  • Can I speak to some of your other patients? Ask for references for several patients who had similar scarring and speak to them about the process and their satisfaction with results.

Red flags:

  • Their story changes: As you discuss different treatment options, if they tend to change their mind easily, or agree with whatever you say, consider this a red flag. A confident, experienced surgeon will possess strong, unwavering opinions.
  • Your gut tells you "no": Trust your gut. If you just don't feel that the doctor is the right fit, trust that and move on. On the other hand, if you feel they are the perfect specialist for you, trust that feeling.
