LOVE! Thank god for acne.org
I have only been using it for 3 months so I have yet to see its long-term effects, but as of now I am soooo happy. I didnt have horrible acne per say, but it was horrible to me. I didnt want to go out and hang out with people because I thought all they would notice was my bad skin. My acne was so painful, and so noticeable and I had tried multiple cleaners, exfoliators, and moisturizers and none of them worked. A few months ago I got the acne.org regimen and started noticing results within 2-3 weeks. My skin is SO much better, I barely get acne anymore and when I do it is right on top of the skin (as opposed to underneath and painful), and is much smaller, less noticeable and goes away fast. At first, yes, my skin did dry out a little but I just used more moisturizer and eventually my skin got used to it. My skin feels so much cleaner, and I can tell it is really working! I feel soo thankful for acne.org and their regimen because without them I would be covering my face in makeup and never going out. Now I can be confident in myself and my skin.

Main ingredient is a por clogger do not use
Just wanted to give an FIY to everyone here to steer clear of this product, it contains laureth 4 which is a known pore clogger. I have an entire list of pore clogging ingredients and check every product, this is what has helped me clear me acne, but this product is a no go and counter productive.

This plus differin cured my acne!
I am 25 and have had moderate acne for years. I use this product with differin and only apply it at night. I stopped using facial cleansers and just let the water hit my face in the shower occasionally. This combination has cleared all my acne. I have to make sure I don't miss a day because I can guarantee I will see a pimple three days after the day I missed. Wonderful product.

to those with sensitive skin
I tried this product with so much great attitude bc i had read so many reviews on this saying it works and all of that. My skin type is actually oily but not as much on my cheeks. So after the first week of using this my face was sooooo red and it stung and my skin was just extremely dry. My first thought was ' its just the process..many people said this happened' so i waited.. i kept using it, just less bp, for about 3 weeks and yet nothing had changed! still red, still irritated, and now just 10x more sensitive than it already was. after the 4th week i realized that all it had done was just burned off my skin on my cheeck bomes and cheeks. It was flakey and dry even at the 4th week so i finally just stopped using it bc my face literally hurt & it was just so red. So yea if you have sensitive skin just let this be a warning :(

This regimen really works as long as you follow it
I have been using this treatment for almost a year now, about 8 months, and it has completely cleared my skin. I only use the treatment from acne.org and i use my own oil free non pore clogging moisturiser and the purpose cleanser. I use it twice a day. If you've been using this for a few months and are experiencing a lull in it, then you probably aren't using enough. but it works miracles.

The best one out there
This has been my skin's savior. I first went through the regimen about four years ago when I had minor cystic acne breakouts on my cheeks. It was horribly drying but I stuck through it. I realized once my skin got better that it's happier without the regimen cleanser, and I also switched to another moisturizer. So I have one from a company in Sweden called Basiderm. I tried switching my BP out to some products from The Ordinary this summer and my acne breakouts were much worse than it ever was before. Once I got a hold of my acne.org BP again, I went back to my old regimen and now I'm only left with scarring but no active breakouts. I have tried SO MANY products for my skin and nothing has ever worked as good and fast at making a pimple stop hurting as this. Before my skin was used to it, it first got worse, as expected. Now my skin is used to it, a pimple can go from hurting to not hurting over the course of one night. I am so thankful for this product. Please please try the regimen if you're experiencing pain, it's so worth it.

Amazing Product. Not too Drying!
I have been using Benzoyl Peroxide for years. I started using the Neutrogena brand as a teenager, and it always irritated my skin (even with such little product). I was nervous to try such a large amount, but this has never irritated my skin as much as that Neutrogena one. I use it nightly (so I don't have sun irritation). I have noticed when I don't use it, I start to get pimples again. Also, the Acne.org customer service is AMAZING! I highly recommend buying products from this website. They have gone above and beyond to help me when there were some shipment issues, and I love to support such a kind and helpful brand!!!

Terminator 10 For Neck Acne
I've been using Terminator 10 for about 6 years now. I started using it because of the bumps on the back of my neck. I get the bumps from cutting my hair really close once a week. I understand a lot of African American men and women have this problem. Terminator 10 works great. It's truly rare when you find a product that actually works good. I have to apply it everyday, but that's okay with me. So don't wait, the acne on your neck can quickly become out of control if you don't treat it early. Terminator 10 is the way to go! Thanks for reading, Rod

Dissatisfied
I ordered this product after seeing great reviews. I followed the directions precisely; however, I'm very disappointed. I used this product only TWO days and my face reacted badly. My skin is extremely dry, itchy, irritated, and sensitive. I have small irritation bumps all over. I used minimal of the benzoyl, and even added the jojoba oil. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

Dude that's normal, if you've never used BP before, you need to let your skin adjust to this new product that of course will make your skin dry and itchy. Once your skin adjusts you will start to see results. It even SAYS that on here before you buy it

Finding a Doctor

The right dermatologist can make a big difference to your patient experience and the success of your acne treatment plan. Here are the steps to find a dermatologist who is a good fit:

  1. Use the search feature on the American Academy of Dermatology website to look for board-certified dermatologists in your area, and filter the search results for doctors with a special interest in treating acne.
  2. Read online patient reviews of any dermatologists you are considering and ask people you know whether they have any experience with these dermatologists.
  3. Do your research and go to your first appointment with questions prepared.
  4. Listen to what your gut feeling tells you once you see a dermatologist in person. If you are not completely comfortable, try a different dermatologist.

Finding a Doctor

Only a select few plastic surgeons specialize in acne scar revision surgery. Be certain to find a provider who specializes in acne scar repair and who is passionate and experienced in this area.

Be sure to:

  • Look at before and after photos, the more the better, especially patients with similar scarring to your own.
  • Be realistic about results. Look for improvement, not a cure.

Questions to ask a potential scar revision specialist:

  • Are you board certified? Be certain that they are board certified.
  • How long have you been performing these procedures? Normally, the more experience the better, however, some younger surgeons may be more on top of the latest procedures.
  • Can I speak to some of your other patients? Ask for references for several patients who had similar scarring and speak to them about the process and their satisfaction with results.

Red flags:

  • Their story changes: As you discuss different treatment options, if they tend to change their mind easily, or agree with whatever you say, consider this a red flag. A confident, experienced surgeon will possess strong, unwavering opinions.
  • Your gut tells you "no": Trust your gut. If you just don't feel that the doctor is the right fit, trust that and move on. On the other hand, if you feel they are the perfect specialist for you, trust that feeling.
