Pros:

Every now and then it will have a miraculous, breakthrough, and my skin will be clear for a few days.

Cons:

Other than that, it had no effect. If anything, my skin seems to be getting worse. I used to only get acne on my forehead, but now it's showing up on my cheeks, and under my nose. It didn't say which order to use the "daily oil control" in, either.

It's a suckish product. Don't waste your time.

Pros:

Works really well!

Cons:

Cleanser and lotion run out long before toner.

I love this! I'm 33 years old, and have had constant acne since I was 11 years old. I've tried more products than I can count, but none have ever worked to clear up my acne. I saw KA at the store and figured it was worth a shot. It took about 3 weeks before I saw results, but I couldn't believe it when I did. My face is completely clear! I honestly thought that I would be plagued with acne for the rest of my life, so this is incredibly exciting for me. In the past with other facial care systems, my skin would be incredibly oily and shiny by mid-morning. Now that doesn't happen all day long, even into the evening! My skin looks great! I ran out of the cleanser and lotion a week and a half ago, and my face is all oily again, and beginning to break out. Needless to say, I'm going to go buy some more. This past week and a half I went back to my Neutrogena system just to tide me over, but it doesn't do anything to keep my oily skin or acne at bay. I'm so thankful for KA!

Pros:

it smells good but that's about it!

Cons:

it dried my face out terribly! I even used their moisturizer, but nothing worked! My acne wasn't severe, but now it has gotten worse!

Don't waste your money! The commercials look good but no results whatsoever! Complete sham!!!

Pros:

The price is wonderful and even the name appeals to teenagers. The shipping was very fast.

Cons:

None

I ordered the Kick A** Acne Formula for my 15 year old son about 4 months ago. It took about 3-4 weeks to see a difference in his skin, but once he got in the habit of using it every day his face really cleared up. He's been bugging me every day for the last week to order more b/c he doesn't want to run out (he knows what happens if he doesn't use it). Thanks for a wonderful product!

Pros:

Cean face in just 2 days! cheap

Cons:

makes my skin dry and itchy after applying but I use an oil-free moisturizer with pure aloe vera extract wchich heals the drynes.

I have used almost everything and spent hundrets of dollars for the cosmetics and tratments that didn't help at all. I also used another treatments with BP wchich didn't do anything else than over-drying. Now I enjoy clean and healthy looking skin in just 2 days. I use the Panoxyl face & body wash and PanOxyl Aqua Gel once a day and it really works. I can say it resues my life cause I don't hesitate to go out anymore!

Pros:

I am past the severe stage and only have moderate skin, I've tried alot of things and 3step benzoyl systems work well for me. Works as advertised although made my skin worse before better.

Cons:

Dry, irritated, worse .... Then better. Citrus type scent for cleanser, light-ALC smell on toner, Lotion smells like Clay but I only use it once a day

For something this affordable it's worth a try I say.

Pros:

It god rid of all my pimples except 3 in only 3 days! It didn't dry my face and it took only 3 days to clear most of me acne!

Cons:

None!

You have to get this. I have tried everything from Proactiv to Clearsil. I highly recommend this because of the pricing and I just love how it took 3 days to work. I will be using this forever! It takes time for results. I had mild acne with 10 pimples on my chin that were big and little. If you have severe acne then wait out a week or two until you see great results!

Pros:

It smelled good and it was cheap.

Cons:

didnt work. i only used it for a couple of days n my skin was already drying up.It dried up so much i coudnt even move my face.and i only used it once a daywhich is less than required.

Bottom line my skin got so bad that i looked like an old lady and im a teen. I was so angry i cried so what i did was call, cancel my account and return the product for a refund. They also made me mad because they told me that what had happened was because my skin was sensitive.nonsense.the product doesnt work!

Pros:

Helped my facial acne

Cons:

A little drying

I haven't had a new zit in 4 days. Which is a big deal to me. Old ones drying and clearing. However after reading the Regimen a week ago. I started applying everything more gently, using Spectrogel in the morning for cleansing and their cleanser at nigh, I'm also using allot more BP then they recommend. That must have helped.

Finding a Doctor

The right dermatologist can make a big difference to your patient experience and the success of your acne treatment plan. Here are the steps to find a dermatologist who is a good fit:

  1. Use the search feature on the American Academy of Dermatology website to look for board-certified dermatologists in your area, and filter the search results for doctors with a special interest in treating acne.
  2. Read online patient reviews of any dermatologists you are considering and ask people you know whether they have any experience with these dermatologists.
  3. Do your research and go to your first appointment with questions prepared.
  4. Listen to what your gut feeling tells you once you see a dermatologist in person. If you are not completely comfortable, try a different dermatologist.

Finding a Doctor

Only a select few plastic surgeons specialize in acne scar revision surgery. Be certain to find a provider who specializes in acne scar repair and who is passionate and experienced in this area.

Be sure to:

  • Look at before and after photos, the more the better, especially patients with similar scarring to your own.
  • Be realistic about results. Look for improvement, not a cure.

Questions to ask a potential scar revision specialist:

  • Are you board certified? Be certain that they are board certified.
  • How long have you been performing these procedures? Normally, the more experience the better, however, some younger surgeons may be more on top of the latest procedures.
  • Can I speak to some of your other patients? Ask for references for several patients who had similar scarring and speak to them about the process and their satisfaction with results.

Red flags:

  • Their story changes: As you discuss different treatment options, if they tend to change their mind easily, or agree with whatever you say, consider this a red flag. A confident, experienced surgeon will possess strong, unwavering opinions.
  • Your gut tells you "no": Trust your gut. If you just don't feel that the doctor is the right fit, trust that and move on. On the other hand, if you feel they are the perfect specialist for you, trust that feeling.
