Pros:

It works great, cleared everything on my face within three days.

Cons:

Causes my face to be a little dry, but nothing you can notice to much.

It seems like I have used everything possible to clear my acne, after complaining one night to my roommate about my face he suggested oxy, so I started using it and fell in love.

Pros:

It lightens sking tone and evens it out. In the first few days it removed all my acne.

Cons:

It irritated my sking and dried is out there was allot of people and it burned. Also it stops working at a certain point and your acne comes back even worse.

I wouldn't recommend the product it swears it better than proactive. No wonder its cheap its crappy. I felt fooled when i bought it. It like there should be a sighn that says cautian results lasting aren't gaurenteed.

Pros:

It works well, didn't dry my skin out. Works seemingly overnight.

Cons:

It may dry your face out a little

I had a FRIGGIN HUGE pimple on my nose. It was horrible omg. I didn't want to go to work let alone school, and everywhere else i had to go. I was desperate and called my mom and she told me to use proactive. She brought it to me and i used it the same night. The NEXT DAY! I saw a significant reduction. it wasnt gone all the way but it was about 60% Wayy better then it was before. THANK GOD AND HIS INFINITE WISDOM TO BLESS ME WITH THIS PRODUCT. I have sensitive skin and it worked great for me. The best thing I have ever used! Worked for me. :)

Pros:

Smells good... works only for a couple of months.

Cons:

It stopped working after using it for 2 years... Its very expensive and they kept sending me a million boxes. I've stopped using it and now i'm terrified of what my skin will end up looking like,

Dont ever use it... it gets addictive and when you finally give up on it, you're paranoid that you're going to end up with severe acne. I advise you to never use this product... the reason why they use famous people to sponser in their commercials is because they're rich enough to keep buying it.

Pros:

I have been using Nature's Cure for many years (off and on of course) and it REALLY works... I tried that crap Proactive and many Nuetrogena products and all they did was make my breakout areas worse!

Cons:

Forgetting the pill was one of thing i found the hardest...never the evening dosage...always the morning >.<

if you are suffering from problem acne and need a quick fix i highly recommend Nature's Cure!

Pros:

goes on smoothly, absorbs quickly, non fragrance, works, cheap

Cons:

none

Firstly, BP dries peoples' skins. So people, stop complaining. That's the nature of BP. Anyway, glad that I got that off my chest. I've used several brand named BP and they were gritty and watery and they weren't cheap. Once I started using this, I tell you, I will not want to go back using other brands. Once I applied this stuff on my face, is heavenly smooth. I am telling you, for the quality this stuff should cost a lot more. I am very happy I ended up trying Dan's BP.

Pros:

cleared pimples, reduced scarring, easy to use & affordable.

Cons:

when you stop using it pimples come back quickly & sometimes
worst then when you first started. Have to keep up with it, every morning and night not enough solution for two months.

it cleared my face a lot. my scares dulled down, and my face became completely clear after a couple months, you notice change after about a week of using it. however, when i missed washing my face a couple times pimples came back way quicker then when they went away, not good for sensitive skin. i also didn't have enough to last me two months but it was very affordable and worth the 20$ . the mask works the best.

Finding a Doctor

The right dermatologist can make a big difference to your patient experience and the success of your acne treatment plan. Here are the steps to find a dermatologist who is a good fit:

  1. Use the search feature on the American Academy of Dermatology website to look for board-certified dermatologists in your area, and filter the search results for doctors with a special interest in treating acne.
  2. Read online patient reviews of any dermatologists you are considering and ask people you know whether they have any experience with these dermatologists.
  3. Do your research and go to your first appointment with questions prepared.
  4. Listen to what your gut feeling tells you once you see a dermatologist in person. If you are not completely comfortable, try a different dermatologist.

Finding a Doctor

Only a select few plastic surgeons specialize in acne scar revision surgery. Be certain to find a provider who specializes in acne scar repair and who is passionate and experienced in this area.

Be sure to:

  • Look at before and after photos, the more the better, especially patients with similar scarring to your own.
  • Be realistic about results. Look for improvement, not a cure.

Questions to ask a potential scar revision specialist:

  • Are you board certified? Be certain that they are board certified.
  • How long have you been performing these procedures? Normally, the more experience the better, however, some younger surgeons may be more on top of the latest procedures.
  • Can I speak to some of your other patients? Ask for references for several patients who had similar scarring and speak to them about the process and their satisfaction with results.

Red flags:

  • Their story changes: As you discuss different treatment options, if they tend to change their mind easily, or agree with whatever you say, consider this a red flag. A confident, experienced surgeon will possess strong, unwavering opinions.
  • Your gut tells you "no": Trust your gut. If you just don't feel that the doctor is the right fit, trust that and move on. On the other hand, if you feel they are the perfect specialist for you, trust that feeling.
