Product used: Stridex (Power Pads)
Cons:
Can only find it at one grocery store in my area.
I brought these by chance about two years ago and I love them. My only problem is where I go to school they work amazingly but when I go home to Florida they don't seem to work anymore, my face will break out like crazy.

Product used: AcneFree (24 Hour Acne Clearing System)
Pros:
I had bad breakouts in the chin area and with in 2 weeks my skin was clear. I used to run my fingers across my skin and feel all these bumps even if I couldn't see some of the acne it was there but now I just feel smooth skin.

With in the first two weeks I did get small whiteheads but those cleared up and I haven't had a break out since.
Love this. Just give it two weeks don't give up it really is well worth it. And the other day I saw they sell the cleanser in a big bottle for around 6 dollars at Walmart so even if your not into the 3 step process then you can at least do that much with results.

Pros:
Makes skin feel less oily. Clears acne and prevent more from forming
Cons:
Dry skin
The product worked for me in the beginning and cleared the pimples up well. However, I started to sleep lesser and feel stress. The acne came back anyway. The outbreak this time is admittedly definitely less severe than last time because of the stress.

Product used: Clean & Clear (Continuous Control Acne Cleanser)
Pros:
It cleans up whiteheads, and leaves your skin feeling fresh and tight (menthol). Only use when my skin has reached a point of no return.
Cons:
Mineral Oil - makes me breakout rather significantly if I use a few days in a row.
Ok product if you need a quick fix - too strong (10% BP) and mineral oil make it not fit for regimen use. Use with caution as it works for a few days, but then breakout from all your suffocating clogged pores.

Pros:
gets rid of zits relatively well, reduces my acne scars as well (I think, might be a tan).
Cons:
So I've been on this for about 2 weeks now, and it is starting to dry my skin out and make my face burn and become really sensitive. So Im just going to use it once a day (at night). Hopefully that will calm it down. But other than that it works good
If you cant afford proactiv like myself, then buy this and if it starts to burn use it once a day or use a moisturizer.

Product used: Equate (Medicated Acne Gel)
Pros:
I've used this at night for years (the cream or gel) mixed with aloe vera gel or other face mosturizers. It feels like a lotion on my face (not drying at all) & clears the acne too. Has worked far better than all the other products I've tried.
Cons:
It can bleach clothing/bedding. It does have the "benzoyl peroxide" smell, but that can be diminished depending on the lotion it's mixed with.
Try it! You will probably be surprised, as I was, that a mosturizing lotion can help clear acne!

Pros:
Cleared my skin up immediately. Love the lotion and the Terminator. Knocks out new pimples almost overnight
Cons:
My skin is clear but extremely shiny. Almost like my face is polished. It makes my skin appear oily .
I have been using the product for about three weeks and overall I like it but wish it didn't make me look so shiny.

It's affordable and you can find it anywhere.
Cons:
It DOESN"T WORK!! And it doesn't foam, so it doesn't feel like its cleansing.
It pretty much does NOTHING for your moderate-severe acne. If you have minor/occasional acne...it might work! I sstill broke out just as bad as I did when I wasn't using it. It was basically pointless. I used it for about 6 months and then I took a year off. I decided to use it again over the summer (because they got new packaging so I thought it was a different product), but it still did NOTHING!!! Don't waste your time....trust me its not worth it!

Expensive, overhyped, con you into buying more.
I tried it years ago, when my acne was milder, and it made things much worse. I recently decided to give it another chance, thinking that since my skin was more mature I'd get a different result. Now I have big, inflamed, painful pimples instead of the smaller ones I had before. I guess it just doesn't work for everyone. Especially if you're not getting paid to say it does.

It made my face really dry and it started peeling
Proactiv isn't for everyone. People with sensitive skin should probably stay away from this product. People with tough skin could use this and it would probably help, but everybodys skin is different and not one of the acne systems out there is going to work for everyone, that is why i recommend Skin id by Neutrogena. You take a skin evaluation test and it tells you what kind of acne treatment you should get. I highly reccommend it for everyone cause it will match you personally, but only if you answer the questions honestly.
Pros:
Exfoliates, cleans up acne really well, good for getting the dirt and oil off your skin.
