Pros:

clears up acne really well

Cons:

takes a lot longer than it says and the lotion makes your face super tight so u need to add a good moisturizer

i used this for about 3 months now and my forehead is completely clear! it took about a month to see results, but was worth it. Now i just have to get rid of acne scars

Pros:

-worked at times
-nice smell, not too strong
-nice packaging, dispenses easily

Cons:

-only certain products had certain effects
-inconsistent with results
-tooexpensive for insufficient results

It is ok if you use certain products, but for others I would rather just wash my face with water than waste the time. I would recommend the clarifying cream with salycylic acid(helped prevent acne for me by 60%)

Pros:

Goes on clear. Easy to apply moisturizer over. Easy to apply in general. Definitely helps clear blemishes if Dan's advice is followed. Dry skin, which is great if you have oily skin like me.. :) (But, the dry skin wasnt too bad.)

Cons:

Possible allergy to the Urea for people with sensitive skin..unfortunately.

Well, Boo! Hate to give this product up already because it definitely helps so many people and I definitely recommend it, but unfortunately, my skin reacted bad to the Urea in the product. I had the same problem with Prosacea when I tried it. It had Urea in higher concentrations and gave me one of the worst allergic reactions I have ever had. Hives all over my face! If they just didnt have that damn Urea I would have been fine with that as well. But since, it is in lower concentrations in this BP I didnt get too bad..Which is good. So, overall, I believe that people that don't have any sensitivities to Urea should give this a go. I used it for about a week and noticed I was having that same reaction that I was with prosacea. So I had to give it up. Sucks too, cause I love that it is a gel and definitely helped out my skin already in a week of usage. Just trying to help out anyone that might have some common reactions to formaldehyde releasers. If you do, go with Neutrogena's product.

Pros:

Great product worked very well for me

Cons:

Great result in juz 5 days. But dont mess up with the steps and use twice a day.

If this product is not curing ur acne then u should consult a doctor. All ordinary kinds of acne is cleared with this product. But not a solution for hormonal imbalance....thanks

Pros:

It is all natural and worked very quickly. Cleared up my skin :)

Cons:

The cream dries out your face, so you need to use it sparingly. If you forget to take the pills for even a DAY your acne WILL come back.

This is AMAZING! Buy it!

Pros:

works really well and really fast (:
no other cleansers work for me.

Cons:

um... dries out skin, burns for a bit when you put it on, and I find that if I use it every day my nose will be reddish and skin will peel.

works best if you use it every day to get rid of acne/pimples, then only once or twice a week to control your skin, i've found.

Pros:

The product is wonderful. I was so tired of putting chemicals on my skin that would help the acne a bit, but cause my skin to get dry and flake up. This is not the case with Carley's product. I have tried AcneFree, but this product is far superior.

Cons:

There are really no cons- so here is more pros. Perhaps the best part of this treatment is how it makes your skin feel during and after treatment. It truely feels like I'm cleaning my skin, and I feel dirty when I don't use it.

If you have any trouble with dry skin or want something that actually works to clear acne- get this. It works. I am not 100 percent clear, but my skin looks so healthy. I was sooo tired of dealing with products that just did nothing. The other pro is that the bottle is huge. You pay a bit for it, but it lasts for awhile. If you follow the directions (heck even if you don't) I'm pretty positive you will love what you see. Don't waste any more money- get this and get clear. (Btw I bought it on Ebay)

Pros:

Clears up skin Super fast! sucks for blackheads.

Cons:

BURNS!!!!!!! My skin felt soo irritated,t he first layer of my skin peeled off, but i was just like "eff it" haha SO i kept using it. My skin is clear but it's red. :(

If you don't have sensitive skin, or you don't mind being red Go for it. if not.. i'm sure there are other alternates.

Cons:

None

I started to have acne after my hysterectomy, my dermatologist wanted to put me on Accutane, I read the pros and cons about Accutane and decided to take a different route! That is when I found Carley's ... I have used it for over a year and LOVE it ... I will be a faithful customer from here on out ... this is my 3rd order!!

Pros:

Cheap, affordable, feels good on the skin, big hype on the product

Cons:

Didn't work for my type of acne, my pores were getting more full of sebum (white stuff), Proactiv did the same thing to my pores

Younger I tried accutane and its the best of all the acne treatment. I used Proactiv for over 3 years with good to average result so I made a change so I tried this treatment, no big breakouts it work good, but my acne is mainly only whitestuff inside my pores that make my skin rough and bumpy, no red bumps and minimal black heads. I think that benzoil peroxide no longer works for me, but I see the hype on this product. Now I'm on Clearpores starting for 3 months, salicic acid is maybe gonna work better, I'm also on minocin wich is mainly made to maintain somewhat of a good skin doesn't imrove or worsen skin

Finding a Doctor

The right dermatologist can make a big difference to your patient experience and the success of your acne treatment plan. Here are the steps to find a dermatologist who is a good fit:

  1. Use the search feature on the American Academy of Dermatology website to look for board-certified dermatologists in your area, and filter the search results for doctors with a special interest in treating acne.
  2. Read online patient reviews of any dermatologists you are considering and ask people you know whether they have any experience with these dermatologists.
  3. Do your research and go to your first appointment with questions prepared.
  4. Listen to what your gut feeling tells you once you see a dermatologist in person. If you are not completely comfortable, try a different dermatologist.

Finding a Doctor

Only a select few plastic surgeons specialize in acne scar revision surgery. Be certain to find a provider who specializes in acne scar repair and who is passionate and experienced in this area.

Be sure to:

  • Look at before and after photos, the more the better, especially patients with similar scarring to your own.
  • Be realistic about results. Look for improvement, not a cure.

Questions to ask a potential scar revision specialist:

  • Are you board certified? Be certain that they are board certified.
  • How long have you been performing these procedures? Normally, the more experience the better, however, some younger surgeons may be more on top of the latest procedures.
  • Can I speak to some of your other patients? Ask for references for several patients who had similar scarring and speak to them about the process and their satisfaction with results.

Red flags:

  • Their story changes: As you discuss different treatment options, if they tend to change their mind easily, or agree with whatever you say, consider this a red flag. A confident, experienced surgeon will possess strong, unwavering opinions.
  • Your gut tells you "no": Trust your gut. If you just don't feel that the doctor is the right fit, trust that and move on. On the other hand, if you feel they are the perfect specialist for you, trust that feeling.
