Pros:

gets rid of most pimples faster than most products and it is not as expensive as proative and all of those

Cons:

can make skin itchy and sometimes slightly red and very dry. Definitely makes u look more pale! My tan was gone in just a week... it does not treat scars at all !!!

it is better than nothing... but it is not a 100% solution to acne! I recommend using it only once a day, preferably at night! Otherwise your skin will probably peel!good luck!

Pros:

Worked amazing at first. My face cleared up within 4 days and I stopped breaking out.

Cons:

If I missed a day, I would break out right away. After using it for so long, it became less affective. I switched my face wash for about a month. Then I switched back to Acne Free and it started working again.

It's a great product and much more affordable than Pro Active.

Pros:

It works wonders

Cons:

You have to be consistent with it, as long as you do that your acne will be long gone!

I started using triaz 6% and differen about a year ago it didnt take long to notice a difference and soon the acne had dissapeared and my skin looked flawless, but over the summer since my face was acne free i stopped using the medication and then in the fall the acne re-appeared. it works wonders you just have to continue using it.

Pros:

Noticeable difference! Skin is no longer oily/shiny and instead is clear/smooth.

Cons:

Skin will probably get worse before it gets better. Not recommended for sensitive skin.

At first my acne prone areas got worse, new bumps and redness, however the other areas of my face were much smoother and clearer. The side effects went away after about 3 days. The facewash is refreshing in the mornings and evenings and leaves the face feeling clean. The moisturizer is nice and is SPF 15 but has a slight smell. The overnight mask is the acne killer but it can leave your face feeling tight and dry Definitely try it if you don't have overly sensitive skin. Stick with it for at least 2 weeks. After the first week if your skin gets too dry, stop and give your face a break for a couple nights then start up again. I am still on my first kit and it's been about 2 months. I get a small breakout if I get lazy and don't stay on the regimen, but going right back on it and using a spot remover the breakout is gone overnight.

Pros:

I've only been using it for about a week, and I' already seeing significant improvements. This product works sooo much better than proactiv, and it's way faster. My skin feels good all day, and it doesn't feel greasy/shiny. I love it!

Cons:

The moisturizer isn't exactly very moisturizing. Sometimes, my skin will feel dry, but I put on some cetaphil moisturizer (also great) so it's all good :)

I don't have terrible acne, mostly whiteheads and blackheads. Proactiv didn't work for me at all, but I think it was designed for people with more severe acne. This product is great, and I'm hoping that my skin will be completely clear in not too long! It gives you great results without the huge price.

Pros:

Easy to use, smells REALLY good in my opinion, All natural, no animal products, no animal testing, nice consistency, inexpensive, AMAZING customer support!!! In other words, EVERYTHING!!

Cons:

NONE I repeat, NONE!!! Trust me NONE!!

I originally ordered the exotic night time moisturizer cream only and received a natural soap bar and a GENEROUS sample bottle each of the original skin treatment & anti-aging treatment. Anyway, the night time moisturizer is a dream come true! My skin felt soooo smooth & moisturized the next morning I woke up!! The natural soap made my skin soo silky! I don't have acne but I do get dozens of tiny zits on "that time" of the month. Plus, I had these little bumps I wanted them to go away. I tried their original skin treatment for a week but there is no change in my skin. Then, I tried the anti-aging treatment under their suggestion. After only one use, the annoying little bumps VANISHED!! And I went through my last period without a SINGLE zit! I'm SHOCKED! I've tried almost every scrubs on the market but NONE helps! It's ASHAMED that their copycat, Juliet's Clean & Smooth is trying to put them down since day 1 by posting FAKE negative feedbacks on this review section!

Finding a Doctor

The right dermatologist can make a big difference to your patient experience and the success of your acne treatment plan. Here are the steps to find a dermatologist who is a good fit:

  1. Use the search feature on the American Academy of Dermatology website to look for board-certified dermatologists in your area, and filter the search results for doctors with a special interest in treating acne.
  2. Read online patient reviews of any dermatologists you are considering and ask people you know whether they have any experience with these dermatologists.
  3. Do your research and go to your first appointment with questions prepared.
  4. Listen to what your gut feeling tells you once you see a dermatologist in person. If you are not completely comfortable, try a different dermatologist.

Finding a Doctor

Only a select few plastic surgeons specialize in acne scar revision surgery. Be certain to find a provider who specializes in acne scar repair and who is passionate and experienced in this area.

Be sure to:

  • Look at before and after photos, the more the better, especially patients with similar scarring to your own.
  • Be realistic about results. Look for improvement, not a cure.

Questions to ask a potential scar revision specialist:

  • Are you board certified? Be certain that they are board certified.
  • How long have you been performing these procedures? Normally, the more experience the better, however, some younger surgeons may be more on top of the latest procedures.
  • Can I speak to some of your other patients? Ask for references for several patients who had similar scarring and speak to them about the process and their satisfaction with results.

Red flags:

  • Their story changes: As you discuss different treatment options, if they tend to change their mind easily, or agree with whatever you say, consider this a red flag. A confident, experienced surgeon will possess strong, unwavering opinions.
  • Your gut tells you "no": Trust your gut. If you just don't feel that the doctor is the right fit, trust that and move on. On the other hand, if you feel they are the perfect specialist for you, trust that feeling.
