Pros:

Easy to put on. Worked at first

Cons:

Killed my face. Seemed to work and then all of a sudden intense dryness. Leathery. Painful.

My face was swollen. I had been using this product prior and no results, after awhile I got frustrated and then *this* happened. My eye lid is swollen (I didn't even place it near my eye-Forehead and chin!), skin peeling. I can't put on cover up to mask the peeling, I'm not all about looks but this is ridiculous. I look like I have a skin disease. It didn't do anything for my acne either and I've been using it for awhile. I wouldn't buy it. I would try it out first. My face is not sensitive and this is a very extreme reaction-especially since I've been using it for awhile.

Pros:

repairing lotion has saved me, cleanser is exfoiliant.

Cons:

more than usual dryness from repairing lotion but it zaps acne, but takes a day or two. After several years not receiving consistent results, considering switching/looking for alternative.

I began at 16 and your skin needs to adjust when you begin using the product, so I had intense acne on my left check that resembled a rash for 3 months that made me feel awful and ugly. But once it cleared and my skin got used to it it has kept my light acne under control for the last 7 years or so. However I am wondering if it is effective anymore. At 23 I am looking for something less harsh and that doesn't dry out my skin and keeps its smooth and easy to apply makeup. maybe want to switch to acne.org products because my sister has switched from proactiv to those new products and she's more than thrilled. However I am afriad of the outcome of quitting Proactiv and starting over, when I am an actress and need clear skin.

Pros:

Reduces appearance of pimples almost immediately (within minutes). If you have darker skin like me, the tinted cream acts as a very foundation and makes spots appear lighter.

Cons:

Should only b applied 2 dark skin at night or in privacy of home bcuz it tends to cause a ghostly whiteness or slight bleached out look.
Only works if continuously used very often
Causes a redness and irritation and SIGNIFICANTLY dries out skin

Recommended for people with tolerant skin. NOT recommended for people with sensitive skin. Recommended for night use or use under concealer for people with darker skin. DO NOT APPLY HEAVILY!

Pros:

The acne spot treatment and facial mask seem to be working really well for me. I don't use them too regularly but about once a week for each and I see noticeable results. The overall redness of my problem areas went down a lot as well with the 3 Step

Cons:

Has anyone else noticed a little more hair on their face than before? When I'm up close to the mirror it appears that there is light fuzz on my face, which is definitely a problem. Not sure if it's the product. Also it does run out very quickly.

I've been using it for about 4 or so months, only once a day doing nothing else different and it doesn't seem to be doing anything awesome. Some days it looks better but not always. It does make my skin smooth and reduces redness. I just bought more so apparently I'm still hoping for something amazing to happen. I do like the product but if you have bad acne I'd say keep looking, unless it only works on bad acne and not small breakouts. Really I'm just wondering if it makes anyone else grow tiny hairs on their faces? It's kinda disturbing.

Pros:

Cleared up my skin like no other product, I have tried many and have been prescribed different products by dermatologists. Non of them worked as well as this or were as mild on my skin.

Cons:

Dries out skin, and will bleach things that come into contact. Neither aspect is that severe though.

Try it! I have been struggling with nonstop acne for ten years and tried many things. This product finally stopped it. I highly recommend it, I am another skeptical user that does not regret finally taking the jump. My skin was clear in a month, and has remained so. I don't even use one full pump per application!

Pros:

works fast, not time consuming, tackles the cause of the acne rather than just the outcome.

Cons:

leaves a dry feeling, it just makes your shin tight after applying the cream

This product is amazing. Throught high I had no acne until I started taking automotive, I guess the oils triggered something, and I have tried practically everything to get rid of it. I've tried, clean and clear advanced acne system, nutrogenea system, proactive; you name it I've tried it. All the products just left my face with more acne, I was about to give up, until I saw the 2 part Nature's Cure on the store self. I grabbed one for me, and the male version for my brother. We have been using it for a couple of days now and we already see results. I'm so glad this product is available, and I finally feel relieved. My only question is; why don't more people know about this product?

Pros:

Clears skin just about completely after 2 weeks. Skin feels tighter.

Cons:

None that i've found, it really seems to suit my skin type.

Amazing product, certainly best acne face wash I've ever come across over 15 years of problem skin. You only need to use a small amount each time, it really does clear away the dirt leaving you feeling fresh and revitalised. I would certainly recommend trying this product. 10/10

makes skin feel oil free and supple.

Cons:

drying is a minimal. nothing to worry about.

when you first read that its 10 BP you probably think wow, way to harsh, no way. but its actually is sooo gentile! it doesnt burn skin whats so ever! and it was litterally dirt cheap. my acne didnt really get better, but i usually get a new blemish maybe once every two days, with this, i got no new ones. why not try it.. Finding a Doctor

The right dermatologist can make a big difference to your patient experience and the success of your acne treatment plan. Here are the steps to find a dermatologist who is a good fit:

  1. Use the search feature on the American Academy of Dermatology website to look for board-certified dermatologists in your area, and filter the search results for doctors with a special interest in treating acne.
  2. Read online patient reviews of any dermatologists you are considering and ask people you know whether they have any experience with these dermatologists.
  3. Do your research and go to your first appointment with questions prepared.
  4. Listen to what your gut feeling tells you once you see a dermatologist in person. If you are not completely comfortable, try a different dermatologist.

Finding a Doctor

Only a select few plastic surgeons specialize in acne scar revision surgery. Be certain to find a provider who specializes in acne scar repair and who is passionate and experienced in this area.

Be sure to:

  • Look at before and after photos, the more the better, especially patients with similar scarring to your own.
  • Be realistic about results. Look for improvement, not a cure.

Questions to ask a potential scar revision specialist:

  • Are you board certified? Be certain that they are board certified.
  • How long have you been performing these procedures? Normally, the more experience the better, however, some younger surgeons may be more on top of the latest procedures.
  • Can I speak to some of your other patients? Ask for references for several patients who had similar scarring and speak to them about the process and their satisfaction with results.

Red flags:

  • Their story changes: As you discuss different treatment options, if they tend to change their mind easily, or agree with whatever you say, consider this a red flag. A confident, experienced surgeon will possess strong, unwavering opinions.
  • Your gut tells you "no": Trust your gut. If you just don't feel that the doctor is the right fit, trust that and move on. On the other hand, if you feel they are the perfect specialist for you, trust that feeling.
