Flattened bumps

Cons:

Did not completely get rid of my acne
Did not reduce redness

This worked pretty well for me, and I would reccomend this, but use paste, not gel!

Pros:

works quickly and effectively

Cons:

stings a little

It is better than all acne products that I have tried. It works fast and good. but after one use is cleared most of my acne. I applied a little regular white colgate on my acne, went to bed, woke up, rinsed it off, and my acne was better!

Pros:

It works it you use the right type of toothpaste

Cons:

It burns your skin badly if you use the wrong type! Believe me, I know from experience!

Make sure you use your basic, white toothpaste. Gel (the clear blue stuff) is what will burn you very badly. I leave it on all night and it works like a charm. I did use the gel one time and it totally burnt my skin all the way through -- it was completely white at the center and all red and burned around the edges (pretty bad burn!).

Pros:

It actually works overnight
Great results
It cost 3$

I don't like the smell

This is a cheap alternative to expensive acne treatments, and painful extractions! I absolutely love this and a little tip use it overnight

Pros:

It works in getting rid of the pimple(s) or making the smaller. Outs the redness a bit as well.

Cons:

Burns a little and can make the eyes water depending. Drys out the skin.

Do NOT leave this on your face for more than an hour. If you do those areas will be extremely dried out. With in addition the covered area being temporarily discolored a purplish brown for up to a few weeks. So don't leave it on over night like so many people here are doing and end up saying its bad. Believe me, I did that myself and the above happened. I recommend leaving it on for 15-20 minutes and then washing it off with soap. Also do NOT cover your whole face with it. This works best as a spot treatment.

Depends
If your skin is oily as f**k like mine, the over drying and irritation is not much of an issue. Granted, I find that most people do not have extremely oily skin like I do, so be careful. I also think that Its not just the kind of skin you have that should be taken into consideration, but also the type of acne that you have. I do not use it for pimples that are near the surface and will most likely get cleansed. I use it for the breakouts that are much deeper underneath the skin, and don't seem to want to come to the surface and heal. Drying out the skin of this kind of acne helps speed the process.

Results depend on person and if you apply right. Read description.

Pros:

drys out pimple
not to harsh
does not sting

Cons:

only for overnight use

At night dab a little on the pimple (not all over face as a mask or crazy) then when you wake up it will have started to work or have gotten rid of it. Never have I seen a horrible reaction from people who apply the RIGHT way. Try it, why not?

Pros:

It can decrease the size of pimples, it gives a nice fresh tingling feel to the skin. Gets rid of black heads too.

Cons:

It can be very drying and a little hard to get off.

It works. I use it when I'm having serious breakouts and the second I wash it off I can see a difference. Caution though dont use if longer than five minuets at a time and for maximum benefits use a regular acne medication and a little moisturizer. But also it may not work for your skin type so be aware of that too. Good Luck!

Pros:

it feels like its working, big ones get smaller

Cons:

takes a while and its get on your pillow and can make your eyes watery of your pimples are close to your eye area

toothpaste is one of those things that CAN help but not too quickly. ive used it many times but for an inconsistant amount of time... if you really wants something that halps try egg white with a cotton ball and leave it on overnight and wash off in your morning shower (it works well and quicker than the toothpaste and your skin is really smooth and less red)
