Pros:

- Gets your zits smaller and helps with my self-esteem.

Cons:

-kinda burns
- gets all over your pillow

I would only use it if your acne is getting worse and you want it to go away FAST! It might not go away the first time, but it makes it smaller! I LOVE IT!!

Pros:

-Cheap
-Always available
-Feels lovely on skin

Cons:

-Drying at first
-Hard to wash when dried
-A little unorthodox

Works really nicely, but it is better to use it as a quick wash, rather than a spot treatment. I mix a bit with water and create a lather, then put it on my face, leave for 30 seconds and then wash it off. It lowered the redness, and it felt refreshing. Since using it, i have noticed a decrease in the severity of my breakouts, and I find it's a great stopper when you feel the urge to pop.

Pros:

It works it you use the right type of toothpaste

Cons:

It burns your skin badly if you use the wrong type! Believe me, I know from experience!

Make sure you use your basic, white toothpaste. Gel (the clear blue stuff) is what will burn you very badly. I leave it on all night and it works like a charm. I did use the gel one time and it totally burnt my skin all the way through -- it was completely white at the center and all red and burned around the edges (pretty bad burn!).

Pros:

I definately helps in redicing acne

I definately helps but you should use it before bed and after a face scrub so you face is clean and free of icky oils. Before bed put a towel on your pillow, they are easier to wash than sheets, sleep. When you wake up in the morning take a damp warm rag and let it rest of your face it makes the toothpase easier to get off and its relaxing then slowly and gently wipe off the toothpaste DO NOT SCRUB AT YOUR FACE. My family has done this with close-up toothpaste for years but only do it one once a week and increase according to your skin.

Pros:

it works, its cheap and feels minty fresh when applied

Cons:

white stains on bedsheets are hard to explain. lol

It is a good solution if your acne is easily controlled. You may need more invasive treatments if your ance is severe.

Kinda burns on 'open' pimples and zits, can get in hair

This worked really well for me. I wash may face, apply it before I go to bed, wake up, wash it off, moisturize, and my skin is super smooth!

Pros:

Reduces size and redness a lot.

Cons:

Burns a little when first applied.

Works well in conjunction with a face scrub. Just use it as a spot treatment on a zit, leave it overnight, use your face wash/scrub when you wake up to clean it away, use your wash/scrub at night before you apply. Repeat the process!

Pros:

it feels like its working, big ones get smaller

Cons:

takes a while and its get on your pillow and can make your eyes watery of your pimples are close to your eye area

toothpaste is one of those things that CAN help but not too quickly. ive used it many times but for an inconsistant amount of time... if you really wants something that halps try egg white with a cotton ball and leave it on overnight and wash off in your morning shower (it works well and quicker than the toothpaste and your skin is really smooth and less red)
