Pros:

It seemed to clear most of the pimples from my face pretty quickly.

Cons:

Not, sure if it is directly from this or not. But, I have taken it for about 2 weeks. I have EXTREMELY sensitive nipples and mild upset stomach (almost a pregnant feeling)

I did not pay attention to the cost b/c I have insurance and only pd. $20. However, I did have a "discount" card from the Dr. and who knows if insurance will cover it next time. May consider switching to something else...

Pros:

Cheap, doesn't make you sick

Cons:

Didn't work :-(

I visited the Doc after 5 months of taking Solodyn (45mg) without seeing any results, He told me the dosage was not high enough but also said my body could've worked up a resistance against the antibiotic. Back to the drawing board for me.

Pros:

clears acne. best antibiotic I've used.

Cons:

tired and sleepy, so if you work and go to school... maybe not the best choice for you

I have tried several antibiotics for my acne - none of them ever worked. A new dermatologist recommended Solyodn to me, and I have to say this is the best thing that I've ever used. I am not completely clear, but for being on this for 2 weeks... huge difference! I had huge inflamed, red pimples all around the sides of my face and cheeks, and they have gone down a lot in 2 wks. I have tried EVERYTHING out there and this works for me.

Pros:

Cleared up my skin

Cons:

Now I have back acne
Loss of sexual interest
Expensive w/o coupon

Works in some areas but causes breakouts in others. Is $900 w/o the coupon given to by the dr. I've lost sexual desire since being on this pill as well. That alone might be worth stopping it!

Pros:

It decreases redness and irritation in the skin. I'm currently using it with Brevoxyl-4 and I'm not seeing much of a difference but it prevents any other breakouts. It works better if you take it around the same time everyday, and be consistent.

Cons:

Works kinda SLOOOW.

My dermatologist gave me this prescription and it isn't as great as I thought it would be. It's only been about a month I've been using it, and he said I would see 75% clearing in my skin. Actually, I've seen probably 10%, and that's me being positive =/ I've seen some blackheads around my nose area that I've never had? Weird. IDK, I'll work it out for another month. From the other reviews, it seems to work if you're taking it properly and with a good exfoliator or somethin'.

Pros:

i didnt break out as much as i use to. i would recommend not going more than 2 days without it cuz i went 5 days and i break out like crazy. now im back and its clearing up....im happy now ! ! !

Cons:

did break out two weeks in to it....i think i should wait at least 3 months...to see more results. i do feel tire. and i am not sure if i ever have to pay the regular cost for it cuz 585 its just too much....but a clear face its worth every penny!!!

really happy with this product....i guess you have to try it for yourself and always have a positive additude about your acne. it always goes away...nothing last forever. BE PATIENT !!

Pros:

None =[

Cons:

This acutally made my face break out worse than it ever has before. By acne was always mild, but i was looking to improve it, and this product just made it worse!!! I also found myself feeling tired alot...

Wouldn't reccommend it

Pros:

I've only been using Solodyn for 4 days and I have already completely cleared up. Also, taking it only once a day is great.

Cons:

About an hour after taking this medication I feel absolutely terrible. Headache, fatigue, nausea, dizziness.

Since I've only been using Solodyn for a few days now I'm hoping that the negative side effects are going to go away (and SOON!!). I don't really know what is worse, how I feel on this medicine, or the acne. I think if the headaches continue for much longer I will have to fine something else, which is a shame because I think this is really helping my skin.

Pros:

Works very well. Cleared my face quickly. No problem with cost because my insurance covers most of it.

Cons:

Didnn't clear my back acne. Still taking this medication. It's been over 6 months. Recently had a dosage increase to try to help. I'm always tired no energy. I always feel like throwing up but I never do. Better taken with food.My lips are darker

You have to give it a chance to work. It does work. I heven't come off of it yet, so I don't know if the acne returns or stays away.

Pros:

The imflammation went down, but probably due the steriod pack I was using for a week.

Cons:

Few headaches, loss of appetite

I assume it's working. I've been using it for one full week. I assume it cleared up my skin a little bit, but now experiencing breakouts again. It's still very early to determine if it's working. Im also using Produce facial cleanser, tazaroc cream at night and clydamicin gel in the morning. Never had severe acne but I hope this stuff works and works fast. I am using Solodyn 135mg once a day.
