Pros:

Easy to take, no side effects besides photosensitivity. Seems to be helping clear it up a little, raken it for about 3 weeks.

Cons:

Not many results, next step is accutane.

May work well for many people, especially young people.

Pros:

I only have to take it once a day!

Cons:

It takes a lot of time to see the results

I have been using Solodyn 90mg once a day. You guys really need to give it time before you just report on it- it's a time releasing medication..therfore takes time to work. I rather it take it's time to work, than do it fast and making it hit my body and hurt my liver/kidneys severely! I use bare essentials which helps because I unfortuantely scar badly. I have csystic acne and postules. I used this medication on february 1st and yesterday I saw a difference. My acne is still active but I don't have big pimples...just tiny bumps (postules?) scattered mostly in my chin/jaw area of my face. I have a smoother complextion. My derm put me on Solodyn 90mg once day, wash my face morning and night with the IS facewash. I use the IS anti-acne serum in the morning...apply some cetaphil (the one for really dry skin) and then my bare mineral make up. At night I use retin a micro. Cetaphil for extra dry skin works best since retina micro really dries up your skin. I will keep you posted!

Pros:

does NOT bother your stomach like regular minocycline. I could take this on a totally empty stomach and it was fine. And I have a sensitive gut.

Cons:

Almost no insurance carrier covers it so I had to deal with their silly coupon cards. It was SUCH a pain to get any refills.

I'm pretty sure it helped keep my acne at a slightly lower level than usual, but truthfully, I didn't notice much of a difference when I went off it.

Pros:

It worked well. I no longer have any new blemishes. I have only used it for two months.

Cons:

The price is outrageous!! Even with the $10.00 coupon my doctor gave me, it still cost $42.99/month. When my pharmacist inquired about the coupon, we were told the price went up and they could not honor the $10.00 price. No thanks!

I am not going to give them the pleasure of using it anymore. False advertising is a crime. It is too bad beacuse it actually works. I will not be baited in by a cheap coupon and then told to pay more. Sorry, I don't think so!

Pros:

Don't have to take on an empty stomach. Works fairly well. 90% less blemishes.

Cons:

Made my stomach queazy and I lost my appetite the first week. Expensive.

I do not like the price of this product, but I've noticed gradual improvement every week. I've not had any side effects since the first week of usage.
