Make sure you're using a good moisturizer as well. Your skin could be getting dry, making it redder.

It can sometimes last for several months or even several years, there are treatments to accelerate the healing process however.

Are you saying you plucked a hair and that happened? If so no that is not usual, plucking a hair shouldn't leave a scar let alone an indent.

As the previous poster stated subcision would probably work well on those scars. I wouldn't say scars are completely reversible, but you can certainly get 70-90% improvement. If they are bothering you...

Besides the swelling I have never heard of subcision making things worse, seems like one of the safer procedures.

The scar didn't seem that large from the picture, seem's like a lot to cut out. Of course maybe the picture just wasn't a good representation of the whole thing. Either way I hope all is going well.

The red marks will fade in time as long as you can stay acne free, but it looks like it will leave some physical scarring. I can't say how bad it will be until the redness is cleared up.

Unless someone else used it I don't know why you would think you'd get HIV from it. As the above user said just sterilize it each time you use it.
