Treatment Options For My Scars?

Hi. I haven't had acne for about 2 years now but the scarring is still bad. It hasn't gotten better over time and I'm not sure which treatment to go for. I have the money and I'm looking for the best possible result. I'm not here looking for a simple answer, just advice and guidance for people who have/have seen similar scarring. I'd rather not spend years using weak peels just to see minor improvements, I know I need more intensive treatments.

These pictures were taken in my bathroom.

I think fairly agressive subcision and suctioning post subcision will help. Your scars are perfectly suited for this because the scars are rolling scars that are indented, but have a smooth surface. That means that when you raise them up whether through subcision, or subcision with fillers, the surface texture will look relatively normal. If you had a lot of ice picks scars, then I would say subcision wouldn't help much.

Look at Mr.Matt's thread about his subcision experiences and photos. Your scarring is similar and he got tremendous results from subcision.

Subcision looks interesting. However, in my country it isn't really an established method. There's a plastic surgery clinic that offers subcision with fillers. Are fillers good or do they just give temporary results?

Fillers can give results but they are only temporary, I would use them as a last resort sort of thing.

where do you live? I'm hoping for a laser called the Recosma but it's only available in Europe right now, it's supposed to come to the states by the end of the year but I head that before about recell and it's still not here. Your pictures aren't available on line so I can't see what your talking about but if they are indented see if the Recosma is available where you live.
