Cons:
takes too long to work, makes face really red and flaky. sunburns REALLY easily. the acne that occurs in the "gets worse before it get better stage" leaves even MORE acne marks you have to worry about.
i recentley was in the hospital with bacterial menigitus and i was put on steroids to keep my brain from inflammtion. it had HORRIBLE side effects. it made me break out so much. my derm put me on tazorac and doxy but im starting school in 2 weeks and im too unpatient to wait and see the outcomes of tazorac. i dont want to go to school looking bad. so im going to use benzaclinl...its works very fast and i used it a long time ago and i had fantastic results. i strongly recommending getting off tazorac. im still using doxy oraly. :)

Pros:
It helps to heal pimples faster.
Cons:
Can cause alot of redness, dryness, FLAKING for senitive skin.
Iv'e been using Taz for about 2 months (1%cream). It exfoliates so fast that I can literally peel off flakes of dry skin about the size of a pencil eraser from my face (although peeling is not good of course!). I've discovered applying a thin layer all over the face works best. It helps dry up zits and improve the overall texture of the skin because the outer layer is constantly being shed. However, I'd advise extra caution in regards to scrubbing/picking the face because it will be tender and perhaps scar while using Tazorac.

Tazorac makes your skin smooth. It works but it takes A LONGGG TIME. i've been using it for 3 months now and i'm still waiting on the results i want to see. But it does work. You just have to be patient. Also, I used jojoba oil which i think is a miracle on its own. And am also taking oral antibiotics. Don't wash your face more than twice a day .. that causes extra irritation and make sure to drink a LOT of water. Excersize reduces scaring... that's all i can think up. Goodluck and keep your head up... it could be worse.

Pros:
reducing of production of oil gland(according to some articles), the main cause of acne.
Cons:
worsening of acne, other side effect take some long time to work(12 weeks). quite expensive.
I think you just need to give it a chance because of the final result(reducing oil) which is very good.

ALmost 40 now, No bad case of acne in my teens , maybe blackheads every once in a while , not too bad .
About5-6 months ago, my forehead was filled with hundreds ( yes, hundreds , like almost every other pore ) of bumps , the bumps slowly became blackheads and extended itseld to my neck .
I went to dermatologyst , $125 ,a 5 min quick look ( no questions asked other if I'm using any new products -wich I am not )
she prescribed me only tazorac .
I have been using for about a month now , every night along with moisturizer , and so far I have only seen my forehead and neck getting worse , the acne that was before only in forehead and neck is extending around the cheek and rest of face , and what it used to be blackheads and comedones are now red and white heads and new blackheads and bumps keep appearing.
It stings and itches really bad.
I have been reading forums and everyone seems to say that s going to get better after so am sticking with it , but I am gettin

excessive peeling, dryness, redness, crazy crazy breakouts, did i forget to mention redness and peeling....
i try not to pick at em so much, but the dry skin, i'd just light stractch it, and then a piece of skin would come off, and than i'll be obssessed and pick at it some more....by the way did anyone else go through some scabbin during the "breakout" phase???? or Am I the only one? also, i'm only on my forth week 3rd day to be exact....do i need to wait any freakin longer??

Pros:
I have been on this product for about two weeks. My skin is a bit more sever but not much.
Cons:
I know that it is supposed to be worse at first but I am concerned that that fase will cause significant scarring for the future,
I am going to stick to this product for the whole 12 week therapy. Patience is a virtue and I have good hopes for it.

Pros:
May help people with more severe acne like cystic acne.
Cons:
Severe reaction to this product!! Severe dryness and irritation!! Made my skin peel and left me with open sores on my face!!
Not good for individuals with light to moderate acne. This is the topical form of Accutane.

Cons:
Intense burning and itching during first week
Leaves skin oily
Doesn't 100% prevent new acne
Does nothing for blackheads
Expensive without insurance
Been using this for 10 weeks. The first week I was on this topical was brutal. I wanted to quit, my skin was so sensitive. But I stuck with it and it's worked really well for my acne so far. However, I am on antibiotics(Doxycycline Hyclate) for my acne as well so I haven't experienced a horrible initial breakout like others. I do still breakout here and there but the pimples are very small and gone within a few days. It will make your skin really smooth. That's probably the best thing I've experienced so far. Still waiting for the hyper-pigmentation to fade but patience is a virtue. Highly recommend this product.
