Cons:
dries your face badly. Please use a good moisturizer!
Dries your face badly! When i started using this product it made my face really try and broke out mildy. I am on my 4th week and it has been incredible! I can see the improvement of my acne. My scars are disappearing and has made my skin much smoother. Be patient, this medication takes time to kick in and you'll never regret choosing this product in the first place.

I got this stuff 4rm my dermatologist.. I have scars u kno n still have pimples that pop up out of nowhere n am sick of it.. So..I tried to go to the dermatologist n get Acutain, but ha.. all the side affects she was like u bettergo on sumthin less harming aka Solodyn.. She gave me Tazorac to put on my face at night.. It seems to be working, I have'nt had many new pmples pop up as a result, only when I wear a beanie but that was my fault.. Bottomline, I got samples 4 this stuff n it does'nt make ur face seem it's on fire like Clearisil n I don't dry out or anything, I guess she gave it to me cuz it does'nt do that.. but yea that irritated me having my face feel on fire ha.. Yo, anybody who has acne, it's all gud, theres cures 4 it, I have a phototherapy lamp as well that I use and the Zeno lazer thing, but the scars still bug the crap outta me.. Best thing:cocoa butter with Vitamin E.. Anyways, kinda got off track, but hope this helps yaw..

I've now been on it 7weeks & the initial breakout seems to be lots better, but it's that time of the month & I've got lots of little cysts @ jawline. I'm using aczone twice a day & taz at night along with doryx once a day: I hate taking so many things, but the derm doesn't beieve in using just one method.
Did it take you guys beyond 12 weeks to get rid of thecystic ones?? I'm so TIRED of dealing with this!!

Pros:
stay away from tozorac, this product suxs, if u want acne all over ur face then use it!!!!!!
Cons:
skin dry, nasty, red, acne all over face when i had like 3 or 4 spots once a month, one day its super dry the next min oily
k so i hated breaking out every month when it was not even that bad like 3 or 5 spots the most, went to my derm and she said to use this sh*t she must be dumb bc this is for severe acne breakouts when i only had 2 spots when i visited her...after two weeks my face was covered with acne spots and there ugly and red i refused to go to work or anywhere bc it made me feel so ugly, even my mom couldnt believe how bad my skin got....after i stopped using it i used proactive and that stuff is amazing it made my face back to normal only bad thing is it blaches my towels but i dont care as long as my skin is nice:). Tozorac is a mess dont use it, u will break out more then it will help u. oh and thank god i only used the samples that she gave me bc the tube is about $150.

Pros:
Greatly reduces redness and inflammation. Seems to shrink or reduce the appearance of pores and scars.
Cons:
Makes skin shiny.
I LOVE this stuff. I've only been using it a month and have seen dramatic improvement. (Granted I'm taking 100 mg of Doryx per day too, but still...) It caused a major flare-up the first week, but after that my skin felt smooth and healed fast. I can't wait to see the final results in two more months.

Pros:
This product had no apparent "pros." My acne was probably considered "light" before, but now I would say its "moderate" because of the application of this product.
Cons:
Made my skin red and prone to irritation; made my skin excessively oily; lead to breakouts wherever I applied it; as I applied this product to small lesions on my checks, the infections grew in area; made my forehead a breeding ground for whiteheads
I used this product for around 4 months, and I've finally decided to stop because I realized that my skin will only get worse if I continue to apply this medication. I'm a college freshman, I'm so frustrated right now because I thought I would not have the deal with acne anymore. Ironically, my skin was better before I entered college. With this medication, they say that the skin is supposed to get worse before it gets better, but my skin never got better--it got progressively worse. And if you don't want to deal with the severe redness and dryness this stuff causes, than I suggest you try less harmful products. The bottom line is that this stuff will work for only certain kinds of people. I naturally have sensitive skin, so I suggest that people who share this similarity with me not take tazorac because your skin will probably be unable to handle its intensity. I've used Ziana in past and it worked well, so I'm switching back to that. I guess it suits my skin type better.

First weak, face cleared up, pores got smaller, and cleared out my pores and black heads.

made skin dry, itchy, red, and flaky, not to mention very oily, and stung so bad, i almost cried.
it was like beeing burned alive.
IT WORKS.
besides all the horrid side effects, it just stopped the acne dead in its tracks.
my skin used to be oily, but its not anymore, its smooth and pores are tiny now, im 15 btw
it doesnt cause breakouts like other products ive tried when i first use them, with this one, it stops the breakouts, and leaves clear beutifull skin, BUT it also leaves your skin very dry, flaky and red and burning, but skin was pretty much flawless after i used it and side effects went away.

This product SUCKS. I went to the dermatologist because I was having breakouts due to hormone imbalance, it was mostly painful cystic pimples here and there on my face. She gave me Tazorac and swore to me that it would make a big difference. Three weeks later, my skin looks like a lizard; it's red, it's bumpy, it's rashy. I have little whiteheads EVERYWHERE. What started as a few painful zits became full blown acne all over my face. I don't even want to go outside anymore. I know you're supposed to wait awhile before it works, but how long can one suffer with skin peeling off in sheets and skin that looks a billion times worse?>

This product really made it worse.
They say it takes 3 months to see full effects. I used this product for almost 3 and a half months, my acne is still the same, barely any difference. Maybe a few pimples went away, but the scarring this product left is horrendous! I'm so frustrated! It may work for others, but for me, this ruined my life.

Pros:
It cleared up every bit of my acne. After about 8 months, I only have one pimple.
Cons:
It WILL leave scars, please do not pick or pop.
The stuff makes your acne go away, but if you pick, you'll wish you hadn't.
