Used Minocycline? Rate It:
Cons:
nausea!!!!!
Pros:
it cleared me in less than a month. it helped me eat healthy.
Cons:
the side effects. couldn't go out in the sunny (if i did, i would get like leopard print red marks on my exposed skin.. it was weird), gave me a UTI (urinary tract infection), oh and made me extremely sensitive (i would always get bruises).
Pros:
Worked amazingly well
Cons:
BUT ONLY FOR 5 MONTHS :(
Pros:
no more cystic acne, improved the quality of my skin
Cons:
it is an antibiotic, so its not a longterm solution for acne. i also often had diarrhea when I was on this
Pros:
Originally it cleared my acne and my skin stayed nice. Over the years (I'm 35 now) though not so effective & at the time I stopped taking it my face hadn't been clear in several months. (Watch for side effects when taking this antibiotic!)
Cons:
Mild nausea sometimes. I took the capsule in the morning. My BIGGEST con is that I ended up with symptoms like Rheumatoid Arthritis. I just stopped taking Minocycline two weeks ago after months of worsening symptoms of what seemed like RA.
Pros:
Been on it a month and face is zit FREE. now all i'm worried about is gettign rid of my blemishing scars.
Cons:
headaches here and there
Pros:
Strong, Cleared Up my acne
Cons:
Never wanted to eat while on this pill, I always have a sick feeling in my stomach, I wanted to lose weight at the time as well so I suppose it was sort of a pro, but not suggested!!!
Pros:
- its in pill form
Cons:
- you cant eat within 2 hours of taking this drug
- you cant take vitamins within 2 hours of taking this drug
- made my acne worse and i have dry skin
Pros:
None so far
Cons:
Initial breakouts and dizziness.
Pros:
It appears to clear up my skin. I have mild acne so this really shouldn't have been given to me by the DR.
Cons:
My face turned red and it burned. I got a bad headache as well as neck pain also dryness.
Pros:
it's been less than a week and my acne is almost cleared up. it's working.
