It is usually applied 2 times a day.

Pros:

helped a little and was not another drug to take

Cons:

stains bed covers, drys skin out, has to be stored in refridgerator

this helped a little but with no major effect on my acne

Pros:

Very powerful BP product since it also contains an antibiotic. The combination of both BP and an antibiotic seem to be quite effective. Clears up acne fast only if you apply it in the entire effected area as preventive measure.

Cons:

Once it's dried your face will feel very stiff. Fairly expensive even with insurance copay. Have to store in cool area (stay away from the kitchen cabinets or bathroom since it will get steamed). Have to moisturize heavily.

This product works well. You just have to learn how to use just the right amount and be very regimented about it since you will have to apply a very good moisturizer on to combat the dryness. I don't know if the antibiotics actually does anything or if this is more effective than the 2.5% BP, but this will make your face very dry and stiff for sure.

Pros:

Dries up zits and keeps a lot of new ones from forming

Cons:

Skin becomes dry and pinches, but a good moisturizer will help.
Try Garnier Skin renewal, or Cetaphil to sooth dry skin.

It works pretty well on acne. I liked it.

Pros:

- dries up the oil on face when you
- dries infected pimples

Cons:

- does nothing to blackheads, closed under-skin whiteheads and cysts
- cant use it during the day. it is too thick and white and dries on the skin without being absorded
- cant use it on the whole face, can only apply it on specific spots

ive used this product for years. it did work for a while, but i could only use it at night because i didnt get absorbed and stayed thick on my skin. it has a very bitter taste and you definitely cant use this product if you are not sleeping alone or planning to kiss. leaves your skin very dry but it was worth it. if you have overall acne i recommend using a different product all over the face and benzamicyne only on the infected white pimples. these will be treated good. now after a few years my skin is used to this product and it doesnt work. i now have demodex mites and benzamicyne only dries up the skin, killing the mites. the minute you stop using it, the mites and bumps-whiteheads-pimples come back.

Pros:

Pretty cheap with my insurance

Cons:

REALLY dries out skin. Def can't use if you love to tan. And also does burn. I could see results as little as a week.

But did clear my skin alot. I would recommend to use if you think nothing else works. I thought nothing would work because i have tried everything. But then my doctor recommended this.

Pros:

Reduces # of blemishes

Cons:

BURNS. Good grief. This stuff really hurts. My skin's so dry and flaky. Not even moisturizer is helping.

Eh. I don't know how much longer I can stay on this. It's too painful and turns my face red.

Pros:

It was relitively cheap. Only $15 with my insurance.

Cons:

It didn't work at all, in fact it made my acne worse. Instead of the little pimples that would go away in a couple days, it tuned into bad cystic ance all over my cheeks that took 3 weeks or more to heal and now I have scars.

Don't get this. BP products are over used and aren't that good for your skin. I would try something that works the same but less harsh on your skin like a sulfer product. This dyed my pillows and made my skin so dry and flakey. Don't waste your time. (or money)

Pros:

Works fast on new pimples
Limits redness of pimple
WORKS

Cons:

Leaves your skin dry, itchy, and blotchy red
Stops working after a while
Doesn't work that well on larger acne vulgaris or white/black heads

It cleared up my skin. Looks better than before although I still have some mild acne on my cheeks and scarring

Pros:

Originally saw some improvement, helped keep minor acne, whiteheads and comedones under control.

Cons:

After prolonged use it is no longer effective. Dries skin out. Terrible taste. Bleaches clothes.

Skin develops a resistance to the antibacterial effects and after many years of use, Benzamycin just won't cut it any more.

Pros:

I cleared up all those smaller blemishes fast so the one that take longer started healing too but looks alot better without all the littles and helps put my oily skin under control.

Cons:

the dryness and peeling at first bothered me but it doesn't last long.

It works!!! I love it i stop using it though and i still get breakouts but its helping to clear up the scaring. I'm 21 now and its hard to find something that works i've tried everything in the store but the doctor said those wouldn't help. I tried this and it took only a few days b4 i noticed improvements.Somedays i don't even need much make up if any.
