Pros:

AMAZING!!!!!!
reduced pimple size, redness, scarring in just one day!!!!!

Cons:

A bit drying, but nothing a little moisturizer couldn't fix; toner stings a tiny bit, but I suspect that will go away once my skin becomes accustomed to it

Its amazing I have Asian skin that's super sensitive, prone to scarring and turns red whenever it's irritated But this system didn't make my skin red and it actually decreased the redness. My dad actually commented on how much clearer my skin looked after one use. Also scars faded, especially when I used the clinique even better moisturizer

Pros:

Easy to use
Can fit in your purse
Works
Non-drying

Cons:

Not as strong as some

This is a great acne spot treatment and it really works. I recommend benzoyl peroxide over salicylic acid or SLS ten fold. I like that it can fit in your purse for emergency breakouts. The only reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 is because it's only 5%, when there's a 10%! For someone with light or moderate acne this should work really well. I have cystic acne (mostly under control now), so when I break out I have to go for the bigger guns.

Pros:

None

Cons:

-Didn't do anything to my face, if anything, it got worse.
-Too much product, it felt like it was messing with my skin too much.
-Maybe it would have worked if i stuck with it longer.

Did not make the slighest difference in my skin.

Pros:

- The price is great
- It actually works
- Made a few of my pimples noticeably smaller within a day of usage

Cons:

- Drys up skin if you use WAY too much

I've seen a huge difference so far, so I'm thinking this product actually works. I would recommend using a good moisturizer though (I use garnier moisture rescue) if you don't it'll feel awkward and dry up your skin a bit.

Pros:

leaves skin feeling clean and soft when straight after using it
60 day money back garantee (VERY USEFUL)

Cons:

Skin looks dirty and greasy by end of the day.
Very expensive.
DOESNT WORK

Skin started to improve within a week and then went straight back to how it was! Pointless and expensive!

Pros:

Best BP spot treatment I've used
Dries quicker than other BP treatments
No white residue
Clears acne fast!
The only BP treatment that hasn't made me breakout more!!

Cons:

Not very effective on blackheads.

It works. I LOVE it!

Pros:

money back guarantee offered by website, company promptly refunded my credit card and discontinued my orders when they received my return

Cons:

expensive
did not work on whiteheads and cystic acne

my daughter has white heads and cystic acne, she used proactive 2xday for approx 6-7 weeks and had no improvement at all. This may work for some people, unfortunately not for her. I returned the bottles and they promptly refunded me and discontinued my orders.

Pros:

This product made me few a new woman. I had the most terrible time with acne, spots and blemishes.
Worked very quick, I bought two kits and one was enough.

Cons:

The only bad thing is: what shall I do with the other kit?, I now the acne is gone forever,
I recommend to buy one kit, even if they offer a price discount.

My skin improved substantially. The product really works wonder.

Pros:

-Cleared up acne
-Exfoliates Skin

Cons:

-Red Marks still linger
-Occasional Breakouts

All in all this has worked wonders for me. Just make sure to cleanse lightly as to not over exfoliate your skin. I also use jojoba oil with my moisturizer. Otherwise it can be drying

Pros:

feels great
smells good

Cons:

you dont get very much

the cleanser feels really good when its washed off, and it leaves your skin feeling tingly and clean. the moisturizer feels good and smells good, and i'm not allergic to it like i am with other products. the spot treatment has a thin consistancy that makes it easy to spread and doesnt require too much. i have only been using this system for a couple of days, but it feels better and cleans more effectively than other products i have used. i have also started seeing results in just two days. it definately beats neutrogena, proactiv, oxy, baking soda, honey masks, green tea, lemon juice, queen helen's mint julep, and burdock. hopefully it will work longer too.

Finding a Doctor

The right dermatologist can make a big difference to your patient experience and the success of your acne treatment plan. Here are the steps to find a dermatologist who is a good fit:

  1. Use the search feature on the American Academy of Dermatology website to look for board-certified dermatologists in your area, and filter the search results for doctors with a special interest in treating acne.
  2. Read online patient reviews of any dermatologists you are considering and ask people you know whether they have any experience with these dermatologists.
  3. Do your research and go to your first appointment with questions prepared.
  4. Listen to what your gut feeling tells you once you see a dermatologist in person. If you are not completely comfortable, try a different dermatologist.

Finding a Doctor

Only a select few plastic surgeons specialize in acne scar revision surgery. Be certain to find a provider who specializes in acne scar repair and who is passionate and experienced in this area.

Be sure to:

  • Look at before and after photos, the more the better, especially patients with similar scarring to your own.
  • Be realistic about results. Look for improvement, not a cure.

Questions to ask a potential scar revision specialist:

  • Are you board certified? Be certain that they are board certified.
  • How long have you been performing these procedures? Normally, the more experience the better, however, some younger surgeons may be more on top of the latest procedures.
  • Can I speak to some of your other patients? Ask for references for several patients who had similar scarring and speak to them about the process and their satisfaction with results.

Red flags:

  • Their story changes: As you discuss different treatment options, if they tend to change their mind easily, or agree with whatever you say, consider this a red flag. A confident, experienced surgeon will possess strong, unwavering opinions.
  • Your gut tells you "no": Trust your gut. If you just don't feel that the doctor is the right fit, trust that and move on. On the other hand, if you feel they are the perfect specialist for you, trust that feeling.
