Pros:

Helps pimples stay away for the most part
Leave skin feeling soft.

Cons:

Irritates skin, makes it flakey, makes skin worse at first, smells like chemicals, takes a very long time to make your pimples go away.

This woud be good for people with light acne. Anything more then that, dont count on it. It still makes me break out, doesnt make current pimples go away either. Not worth the money at all.

Pros:

great product!

Cons:

drys skin, suggest to add jojoba oil to your cleanser or hypoallergenic moisturizer.

I posted a rave review for this product back in september. A week ago I went to re-up and after 3 visits to 3 different stores in 3 days they were out. I did some searching on the net and found that it was recalled November '08. The processing plant that makes the Walmart Brand, Kroger Brand, and the Dollar General Brand was found by the FDA to have a form of bacteria in it. I was trully upset for days. I found CVS brand & It seems ok. Walmart associates did not seem to be aware of the recall. I saw a posting on here by another person that their Walmart didn't have it and that's what made me do some digging. Has anyone else found it difficult to find before I write a letter to Walmart????

Pros:

Works great! Clears up acne
Sensitive AcneFree was really soothing

Cons:

Leaves skin very dry. Try sensitive skin first if you don't know what skin you are. Packaging is weird. I finished 2 bottles of moisturizer and terminator in 5 months, but only 1 cleanser and they didn't sell them separately.

It works. That's what it is. I tried all three types of acnefree and sensitive works for me. Severe was very rough. The acne was gone but it leaves my skin very dry and peeled off. Normal didn't work on me. After severe, I tried normal and the acne came back. Ditched that in a month. Tried sensitive. It works great. Moisturizer was cool and soothing when applied. The cleanser doesn't leave your skin dry. I would recommend starting with sensitive. If that doesn't work, try severe and then normal.

Pros:

It should be said that I used the AcneFree for Sensitive skin, but there are no pros that I found to the product.

Cons:

Basically, after using it for over 3 months, it did absolutely nothing to improve my acne or the condition of my skin. I still break out all over and it seems worse than before I started using the product.

I guess it just depends on the person, but I hated this product and added it to my ever-growing list of products that did not work on my skin

Pros:

I just tried this product, it is already working! I think it only works if you put, VERY VERY LITTLE. My skin felt so smooth in just a few hours!

Cons:

None, yet. Maybe the smell?

I'm going to keep trying!

Pros:

The seller of this product uses all natural, quality ingredients. No chemicals or SLS used in any of the products. Consistency. Lasts a long time. Order to receive time is quick! LOVE all of it!

Cons:

My only fear is that everyone will find out how great the product is and the manufacturer won't be able to keep up! I don't want them to change anything. I love the products. Cost is a little high - but then everything lasts me a long time !

I was apprehensive at first, because I've tried everything on my face and nothing worked that well. I was so pleasantly surprised at the quality of the products. I started out with the Clear and Smooth face wash (it works, but give it time). Now I'm consistently using the soap, night cream, and daily moisturizer under my makeup. The night cream takes all the redness out of my face and it looks so smooth and healthy. I especially like the fact that website lists all the ingredients and explains what they do and why they're used. You can tell that they don't skimp on cheap ingredients and that's so important to me. I feel that the quality of the products is in line with, if not better than, the expensive face creams and soaps they sell at high end stores. I've saved tons of money using these products, and stopped wasting my money on department store "chemical" lotions. Fantastic products - my skin looks so much better than before.

Pros:

I love this stuff. I'm going to buy 2 bottles before I go overseas for a year! Works much better than the expensive brands and competing brands. This $4 bottle works BETTER than the $120 Obagi acne kit I bought. you can't go wrong. back to the basics

Cons:

may dry a little. but if u have jojoba oil, you don't notice a difference

GET IT! My acne was moderate. I mostly have scars, but I did have a lot of random big pimples that would come out. Especially the ones that was under my skin. those are the worst cuz they look like bumps and u can't pop them. However, once I got this, i haven't had any. actually, i did get a small one, but i used the OXY spot treatment along with the washer and it never became an actual bump. so yeah, i love this stuff. The reason y this stuff works is because it sticks with the basics. no fragrence, no fancy ingredients. just straight up benzoyl peroxide @ 10%. Love it!

Finding a Doctor

The right dermatologist can make a big difference to your patient experience and the success of your acne treatment plan. Here are the steps to find a dermatologist who is a good fit:

  1. Use the search feature on the American Academy of Dermatology website to look for board-certified dermatologists in your area, and filter the search results for doctors with a special interest in treating acne.
  2. Read online patient reviews of any dermatologists you are considering and ask people you know whether they have any experience with these dermatologists.
  3. Do your research and go to your first appointment with questions prepared.
  4. Listen to what your gut feeling tells you once you see a dermatologist in person. If you are not completely comfortable, try a different dermatologist.

Finding a Doctor

Only a select few plastic surgeons specialize in acne scar revision surgery. Be certain to find a provider who specializes in acne scar repair and who is passionate and experienced in this area.

Be sure to:

  • Look at before and after photos, the more the better, especially patients with similar scarring to your own.
  • Be realistic about results. Look for improvement, not a cure.

Questions to ask a potential scar revision specialist:

  • Are you board certified? Be certain that they are board certified.
  • How long have you been performing these procedures? Normally, the more experience the better, however, some younger surgeons may be more on top of the latest procedures.
  • Can I speak to some of your other patients? Ask for references for several patients who had similar scarring and speak to them about the process and their satisfaction with results.

Red flags:

  • Their story changes: As you discuss different treatment options, if they tend to change their mind easily, or agree with whatever you say, consider this a red flag. A confident, experienced surgeon will possess strong, unwavering opinions.
  • Your gut tells you "no": Trust your gut. If you just don't feel that the doctor is the right fit, trust that and move on. On the other hand, if you feel they are the perfect specialist for you, trust that feeling.
