Pros:

got rid of most acne and stopped breakouts, saw major results in two days of starting it.

Cons:

The lotion feels gritty and leaves white residue if not wiped off

Good product , deffinately helps people with severe acne , but dont really like the face lotion (step 3)

Pros:

Kick A** seems to work wonders on my sons skin..where other products stopped this one keeps improving his condition

Cons:

he didnt like the soap on his face at all..broke out more with it..even though the directions for the acne cream states once a day he uses it twice with great results

third time ordering and it looks like we will be repeat customers as long as it keeps working .

Pros:

keeps my skin from developing really bad acne, makes skin nice and smooth

Cons:

takes a while to work on my skin, if I use the sunscreen lotion at night it makes my skin feel kind of greasy.

I've been using this product for about a week. So far, I'd say the whole "works faster than proactive" claim is a lie. But that isn't to say that the product doesn't work.

Pros:

I love the way it feels on my skin, nice and clean and fresh XD
Ive only used it for a day or so, so its hard to say if its really working...i think it is though.

Cons:

The smell is not the greatest smell to smell at 7 am since you have to do this am and pm. but there is worse.

So far so good.

Pros:

Non irritating
Makes my skin soft and glowing

Cons:

My skin is still oily as ever
I started getting large cystic breakouts along my jawline
Starting to get some on my forehead (never really did before)

I'm trying to be very patient with this because I've heard nothing but high praises for this product. I'm following the directions religiously and it just seems to be getting worse. I do realise that I've only been using it for a week and a bit, but shouldn't there be a slight improvement INSTEAD of it getting worse? Someone please reassure me. And also, what kind of makeup would you recommend using while doing this treatment? Maybe my makeup is making it worse.

Pros:

i've seen an improvement in my skin. my skin feels really soft, acne has gotten smaller to the point where you can't see it unless you use a magnifying mirror.

Cons:

there's grainy stuff in it, the bottle is waay too hard to use and it burns slightly when you have it on for the one minute it directs you to use

i've used this for about a week. already my skin feels really clean and soft. there's no smell or anything but my skin just feels super soft to the touch after i use it and my acne has visibly reduced. i only bought the cleanser from bb&b because i didn't want to waste money on the entire package if i didn't know whether or not it would work. well, it works pretty well. i don't think i'll buy the entire package. the bottle sucks and it practically takes me two minutes to get the freaking stuff OUT of it and that's frustrated but as long as it works that's all i care. i do not have the severe, i have light acne so.. i don't know how it'll work with everyone. i don't have sensitive skin, either.

Pros:

Dries up zits fast, cleared my blackheads on my nose that I've had for at least 10 years. I use it mostly for spot treatment and once or twice a week on my nose. Also very cheap, found it at the discount store.

Cons:

The high concentration is drying. It does make the area peel or look irritated a few days after use. I cut it with moisturizer to about half and half and it cuts way down on the dryness. Using a cotton swab for application precision also cuts down on

It's worth it to me to put up with the cons to get the quick and consistent results. And the price is right.

Pros:

my acne is pretty much gone and my skin loos good. tone and pore size alot better

Cons:

drying.

i love it! it is def drying but i only use it at night and then wash my face with water in the morning and then apply moistuizer. have used everything, i mean everything! inculding proactive. and this is by far the best. ony thing is will say about one review is the one with the coco butter, coco butter is not Noncomedogenic. which means that it will clog pores, which is a shame becuase it works so well on dark marks, so i dont use that anymore. but anyways, i love it because i have honestly spent hundreds trying to find a solution and a little 5.99 bar from walmart does it!

Finding a Doctor

The right dermatologist can make a big difference to your patient experience and the success of your acne treatment plan. Here are the steps to find a dermatologist who is a good fit:

  1. Use the search feature on the American Academy of Dermatology website to look for board-certified dermatologists in your area, and filter the search results for doctors with a special interest in treating acne.
  2. Read online patient reviews of any dermatologists you are considering and ask people you know whether they have any experience with these dermatologists.
  3. Do your research and go to your first appointment with questions prepared.
  4. Listen to what your gut feeling tells you once you see a dermatologist in person. If you are not completely comfortable, try a different dermatologist.

Finding a Doctor

Only a select few plastic surgeons specialize in acne scar revision surgery. Be certain to find a provider who specializes in acne scar repair and who is passionate and experienced in this area.

Be sure to:

  • Look at before and after photos, the more the better, especially patients with similar scarring to your own.
  • Be realistic about results. Look for improvement, not a cure.

Questions to ask a potential scar revision specialist:

  • Are you board certified? Be certain that they are board certified.
  • How long have you been performing these procedures? Normally, the more experience the better, however, some younger surgeons may be more on top of the latest procedures.
  • Can I speak to some of your other patients? Ask for references for several patients who had similar scarring and speak to them about the process and their satisfaction with results.

Red flags:

  • Their story changes: As you discuss different treatment options, if they tend to change their mind easily, or agree with whatever you say, consider this a red flag. A confident, experienced surgeon will possess strong, unwavering opinions.
  • Your gut tells you "no": Trust your gut. If you just don't feel that the doctor is the right fit, trust that and move on. On the other hand, if you feel they are the perfect specialist for you, trust that feeling.
