Cons:

Not cheaper than anything when you have to buy new sheets and towels!!

This stuff has so much Benzol Peroxide in it that it completely ruined my colored towels and sheets on the bed (bleached spots on them). Both the cleanser (which you obviously wash off of your face) and the lotion have this. So towels in morning and sheets at night...all ruined!! Not cool!

Pros:

Works extremely well
Easy to apply
Part of The Regimen- has precise instructions for effectiveness

Cons:

Takes SO long to complete the Regimen (25 minutes after a shower or 15 minutes if I'm just washing my face over the sink)
Shipping is costly, $14 if I buy two or if I buy the 32 oz bottle

Everyone should definitely give this product a try. It really works and I love it. The Regimen has completely cleared my skin in about a 5 weeks! Nothing else has produced these results, especially since I suffer from great stress and lack of sleep. While I complain that the Regimen takes long, it is so completely worth it. The price is still not great; mostly the shipping is not very reasonable. I do not want to opt for the $5 Autoship option because I have found a great cleanser & moisturizer to substitute into the Regimen. Also, the reviews on Acne.org's new moisturizer are not favorable. I use Neutrogena's Oil-Free Foaming Cleanser for Acne prone skin & DML Moisturing Lotion. They work great.

Pros:

IT WORKS!!!
Gives you super glowing skin without makeup!!!

Cons:

Bit costly...
The foaming wash is not very effective in removing makeup or moisturizer.

This is the first proper acne treatment I've ever used and I wasn't expecting such good results. But it worked wonders for my skin. I always dreamed of having clear skin and now my skin is now so clear and glowing that I don't need to put any makeup on to cover my flaws. All my friends keep praising me for the lovely skin I have now. The only problem is that if you skip your routine for a couple of days your skin starts getting acne again...So you have to follow the routine religiously. I wish it also helped develop some immunity against acne too when you're not using it.

Pros:

clears acne
softens skin
it works
doesn't dry
light foam

Cons:

delivery program
cans can break

overall i like this product. it did help me. i did not get random blemishes and breakouts. however the supply they give you does not last long enough. it did not dry out my skin which is a major issue that i have with most non foam cleansers. however, they don't supply enough of the cleansing foam. though this is mainly because it is an infomercial product. i decided not to continue using it just because of they did not send enough of the product and then i would have too much of the toner and treatment and not enough of the cleanser.

Pros:

No Pros on this product!!! It sucks!!

Cons:

No customer service!!
Product does not work!!
False advertisment!!
Dry and flakey on your face!!
Half way through the can stops working!!

Please beware. I recently ordered this product thinking that this would be the end to all my acne problems. According to the commericals I was very influenced to order so I did. As soon as I received the product I immediately began using it. I have yet to see any results!!! As a matter of fact this product break me out even more. The first week I got new huge white heads and pimples on my face and neck as a results of using the product and it has not cleared up the old acne. I said I would try it another week maybe it will work, but no the same thing. Now my face looks even worse than it did before I started using the product. I hate that I ever even started using this mess. So, like anyone else I called customer service to my surprise the paper work that came with my order listed the incorrect number. Everytime I called it would say your call can not be completed as dailed. So, I went on the interent and obtain a different customer service number. I was kept on hold so long. I just hung up and took matters in my own hands. I was enrolled in the autoship program, but I hadn't used the product 30 days yet, so I knew they would try to charge my credit card again, so I called my bank reported it lost, and got a new card with a new number. Dumb fools will not charge me again for this mess. As far as the 30 money back I will just count my lost because the hassle of trying to get my $26 dollars back is not worth it. So disgusted and angry!!! I know different product work different for different skin types, but this is outrageous!!!!

Pros:

Not Sure.

Cons:

Doesn't Work. Dries up skin.

This product did not work for me. When I started using this, it seemed to work but then, it got worse and worse... It dried up my skin a lot and did not control breakouts. I've been using this product for 1 and a half month now. I'm going to try clinique and quit this one. -_- I would not recommend this product unless you're acne is light.

Pros:

Smells nice, cleanser felt great

Cons:

How it smells shouldn't be my first pro, caused more breakouts

This product made my skin worse. I break out on and off now for years, but now I have tons of it that is painful and sore. My face really hurts from it and I'm so embarrassed now. I'm a makeup artist, so I'm up close to people all day. Now I have no choice but to wear more makeup to cover it. It dried me out, peeled, but that's expected. I'm super oily, so that didn't effect me too much. The cleanser I liked; my skin felt smooth, clean, tingly, refreshed. However, I don't know if it actually works because my skin is so bad. I thought maybe it was drawing out the acne under the skin, but I see no changes!

Pros:

Relatively inexpensive
Tiemly shipping

Cons:

Poor customer service
The bottles stop funtioning with half the contents in it
The night foam is extremely drying
Very difficult to cancel the order
The wash finishes long before the other 2 products
Like EVERY acne product i have ever used, it worked for about 3 months and then stopped working

Max clarity foam has been very disappointing. It is like all the other infomercials that make huge promises with slick ads but just doesnt deliver. It stopped working just like Proactiv. But proactiv was gentler on the skin and left my skin in better condition

Finding a Doctor

The right dermatologist can make a big difference to your patient experience and the success of your acne treatment plan. Here are the steps to find a dermatologist who is a good fit:

  1. Use the search feature on the American Academy of Dermatology website to look for board-certified dermatologists in your area, and filter the search results for doctors with a special interest in treating acne.
  2. Read online patient reviews of any dermatologists you are considering and ask people you know whether they have any experience with these dermatologists.
  3. Do your research and go to your first appointment with questions prepared.
  4. Listen to what your gut feeling tells you once you see a dermatologist in person. If you are not completely comfortable, try a different dermatologist.

Finding a Doctor

Only a select few plastic surgeons specialize in acne scar revision surgery. Be certain to find a provider who specializes in acne scar repair and who is passionate and experienced in this area.

Be sure to:

  • Look at before and after photos, the more the better, especially patients with similar scarring to your own.
  • Be realistic about results. Look for improvement, not a cure.

Questions to ask a potential scar revision specialist:

  • Are you board certified? Be certain that they are board certified.
  • How long have you been performing these procedures? Normally, the more experience the better, however, some younger surgeons may be more on top of the latest procedures.
  • Can I speak to some of your other patients? Ask for references for several patients who had similar scarring and speak to them about the process and their satisfaction with results.

Red flags:

  • Their story changes: As you discuss different treatment options, if they tend to change their mind easily, or agree with whatever you say, consider this a red flag. A confident, experienced surgeon will possess strong, unwavering opinions.
  • Your gut tells you "no": Trust your gut. If you just don't feel that the doctor is the right fit, trust that and move on. On the other hand, if you feel they are the perfect specialist for you, trust that feeling.
