BE PATIENT!

Please read this if you are giving up on the regimen!!! This product has honestly changed my life, After battling with cystic acne for 6 years and visiting the doctors around 10+ times regarding my skin issues, I believed this was going to be with me forever. A nine month round of antibiotics cleared my acne extremely well until I finished and the pimples returned, albeit not quite as terrible as before. I had tried Dan?s regimen earlier in 2018 but gave up after experiencing a horrid breakout during exams (caused mainly by stress I think). In February 2019 my acne started to come back, and I turned again to the regimen for a second attempt. The first 3 months were awful. My skin was red, flaking and irritated. I developed eczema on my neck and jawline and I couldn?t smile without it cracking and peeling off. Considering I was at uni and wanted to go out with friends and have fun it was the worst timing ever. After seeing absolutely ZERO improvement after month 3 was over I emailed the acne.org support team as a final attempt to restore hope and motivation to continue the regime. They replied telling me if I kept going I would experience clear skin, so I stuck at it. I kid you not, by the end of month 4 my skin was 85% clear. When I did have a pimple, it was no longer cystic, just a slightly inflamed clogged pore. Now in month 6/7, I have never been so happy with my skin. The irritation is gone and I am 90% clear or active acne. It would be dishonest if I said I never get acne...I probably get one tiny pimple a week and 3-4 medium sized pimples a month but overall this regimen has worked literal miracles on my face. My advice is to not give up even if you?re months in!! I was so disheartened when I saw people?s great results after a matter of weeks. All our skin is different and some just take longer than others. Trust the process!!

Too much too soon

This is my first time using the acne.org products. I have suffered from adult acne and cystic acne with a lot of hyperpigmentation.  I have spent hundreds of dollars looking for the right skin products and countless of hours at the dermatologist and nothing seemed to work for me.  I have watched how these products transformed my daughter's skin and it gave me skin envy.

Now when i ordered the products i had every intention to follow the instructions and wait for my turn for skin envy.  Anyway I started using too much of the benzoyl peroxide too early in my regimen an my skin was not happy, not happy at all.  It became very dry, flaky, and lots and lots of peeling.  I looked a mess! but i reduced my usage for a few days to weeks and added 6-8 drops of jojoba oil to the moisturizer every morning and evening which left me a lil greasy during the day but it was all worth it.  Now my skin is under control and I can really see the difference, fewer pimples and when one does show up it doesn't last long. I still have a ways to go but I'm will on my way and after using this product for a month I'm starting to see and feel the difference over all.

My advise follow the instructions to the tee don't rush the process or it will take even longer.

Completely acne-free

Made an account just to leave a review. I'd always had moderate acne, but in the past year I had the worst acne of my life. I've tried just about everything, and decided to try the Acne.org benzoyl peroxide since it got such good reviews.

The progress you see is from February 2019 to June 2019. I only used the BP from Acne.org - my routine every night was:

1. Oil face wash

2. Foaming face wash

3. Acne.org BP cream (two pumps at first, but after irritation reduced to one pump)

4. Regular moisturizer

5. Thick moisturizer on sensitive skin areas

The result was my face completely cleared up in the course of those months. In my 'after' pictures, any discolourations you see are due to tanning after the BP burned me, or acne scars. I did experience some redness and irritation, but my completely clear face made it worth it. At this time of writing I don't have a single pimple.

Use it consistently, keep at it, and you'll see results.

Acne.org treatment changed my life

Hi. I'm Joanna from Poland. I've been struggling with acne for years. I've had heavy acne as a kid, as a teenager and as an adult for almost 20 years... till 2015 (I've tried various drugs and cosmetics through the years). I'm 31 years old now and I still have some spots from time to time but my skin changed a lot and all thanks to acne.org regimen kit. The Treatment was my miracle. It really changed my skin! At first I was using whole Kit, with moisturizer and cleanser as you should - 2 times a day. After few weeks my skin was looking nicer, spots were much smaller, bumps under skin as well (I have been using a lot moisturizer so my skin was just a little dry). Few months later I was using Kit once a day, an now I'm just using treatment from time to time for some spots I have during PMS. I don't have any pre-kit photos because having acne was really painful for me. You can see my result - my face now- it's my profile photo. I don't like or know have to do make-up so I'm almost make-up free (mascara and eyeliner only).

I live in Poland so buying stuff in US isn't the cheapest or fastest way to get things but Treatment is worth every cent I have spent to get it and every minute I have wait for package to be delivered.

Just try it. Maybe it's not for you, but maybe IT IS and maybe it will change your life.

Greetings from Poland

My savior

I'm French, sorry for my English... In 2 weeks I see my skin clear after 1 year of big spots anywhere and whenever on my face. I use bp about 1 month now. At start, after some days, your skin will be very very very dry and it will peel, it hurts, so moisturizer is essential, I apply it 4 times a day... but I've tried all natural products and nothing works like this regimen. Cleanser is good, I ordered moisturizer and AHA for the first time today because good creams in France are too expensive. If you hesitate, try at least bp.

This didn't work for me at all. I had to revert back to 10% benzoyl peroxide which works very well for me.  I am a 50 year old male with cystic acne on my nose and chin. Within a week of starting this, I started getting cysts and after 4 weeks it was horrible. Thought buying a big tube was a good idea, but now it will just go in the trash.

It worked even for sensitive skin!

I had mild acne (~4-5 active and a lot of under the skin bumps  at a time). I have used this regimen for about 1 month now. I don't have anymore active acne. I only have very few small "under the skin" bumps. My skin is very sensitive so before when I used benzoperoxide kit from proactive or the Clinique acne kits, my skin got so red and irritated that I had to stop using them so I didn't use benzoperoxide long enough to see if there could be any improvement.

Acne.org is much gentle and the instruction is much clearer! Though my skin is still very sensitive so I could only use the benzoperoxide once a day but can still see very good result. Below is my progress. Hopefully, this can help those suffer the same

week 1: red and irritated skin due to adjustment to benzoperozide

week 2: skin darkening/drying/peeling. 2 new pimple formed.

week 3: all dried/dead skin peeled off. Skin back to normal just a bit dry. No more active acne.

Week 4: skin is very clear even the under the skin bumps are gone mostly. Still have red mark due to acne scar though but very happy that no more painful acne :)

Overall review

This treatment is great first time using it all my acne was gone with in months!!! Happy days :smileys_n_people_32:! Unfortunately it's not a miracle product that actually gets rid of your acne for good. I stopped using it when all my spots where gone. With in a month my spots started to come back and actually a lot worse than before had major breakouts very painful. The treatment just suppressed my spots and kept them away but once stop using acne.org your spots come back so my advice is to honestly look into something that is more permanent as this is just something you will have to always keep using. Also I noticed after a while your skin becomes used to it and it's not as effective as it was from the beginning so that was another problem that I didn't like. Overall it works a lot better then most creams out there and good for a quick fix

I think long-term solutions involve hormonal measures as that's usually the cause of persistent acne. As far as spot treatments go I think it's clear that you've had great results from this topical product.

Awesome!

Used it for 2 months and it helped my skin a lot! i had severe cystic acne and it got worse before it got better using the BP. It was like one day my skin was bursting and the next day it was 100 percent better.  I have ordered a new kit and now going to start using AHA. Hope it removes the red spots!

Absolutely love
I've been using this product for about 3 years and this has been the best decision I have ever made. My face was so broke out and I tried absolutely everything to get it to clear up and it did not happen until I use the 3 core products in the regimen. Will forever be a customer, I tell everyone about these products and how they seriously saved my skin.

Love 1 of the 3 products
I started using this as a last resort. I suffer from adult acne and have tried everything. My skin is also on the drier side. When I started using the three step treatment my skin became so dry that it was flaking off in pieces. My acne was gone but the dry skin flakes were more embarrassing. I started experimenting and went back to using my old cleanser, then using the acne.org treatmemt and finishing off with a more hydrating moisturizer than the acne.org one (the acne.org moisturizer did not feel moisturizing at all). My skin has never looked better and is not dry at all. Moral of the story: the treatment is amazing but the other two products I do not recommend. Just buy the treatment!!!

I have the same issue with the peeling and I’ve been searching for a moisturizer (and sunscreen) that didn’t break my sensitive, combination skin out. Can you share what you ended up using? I use my own moisturizer but peeling/dry patches still break through after 20 minutes!!

January 8, 2019

I use first aid beauty face cleanser (amazing and hydrating), then I use the acne.org treatment and then I finish off with pure hyaluronic acid serum that I buy off of amazon. This seems to keep me from breaking out and keep my skin from getting dry. I cannot use cream moisturizers or I immediately break out. I find liquid serums work best.

I find the moisturizer feels really good and moisturizing on my skin, if you want it to add more moisture add more jojoba oil to it. The licorice root is super important so I wouldn't want to skip the moisturizer

Finding a Doctor

The right dermatologist can make a big difference to your patient experience and the success of your acne treatment plan. Here are the steps to find a dermatologist who is a good fit:

  1. Use the search feature on the American Academy of Dermatology website to look for board-certified dermatologists in your area, and filter the search results for doctors with a special interest in treating acne.
  2. Read online patient reviews of any dermatologists you are considering and ask people you know whether they have any experience with these dermatologists.
  3. Do your research and go to your first appointment with questions prepared.
  4. Listen to what your gut feeling tells you once you see a dermatologist in person. If you are not completely comfortable, try a different dermatologist.

Finding a Doctor

Only a select few plastic surgeons specialize in acne scar revision surgery. Be certain to find a provider who specializes in acne scar repair and who is passionate and experienced in this area.

Be sure to:

  • Look at before and after photos, the more the better, especially patients with similar scarring to your own.
  • Be realistic about results. Look for improvement, not a cure.

Questions to ask a potential scar revision specialist:

  • Are you board certified? Be certain that they are board certified.
  • How long have you been performing these procedures? Normally, the more experience the better, however, some younger surgeons may be more on top of the latest procedures.
  • Can I speak to some of your other patients? Ask for references for several patients who had similar scarring and speak to them about the process and their satisfaction with results.

Red flags:

  • Their story changes: As you discuss different treatment options, if they tend to change their mind easily, or agree with whatever you say, consider this a red flag. A confident, experienced surgeon will possess strong, unwavering opinions.
  • Your gut tells you "no": Trust your gut. If you just don't feel that the doctor is the right fit, trust that and move on. On the other hand, if you feel they are the perfect specialist for you, trust that feeling.
