Does not work even in the slightest
This product is honestly a waste of money. I bought the whole step by step system and it did nothing but make my face worse and scarred. The first two days I used the cleanser it turned my face beet red for two days and then after a month of use I stopped because It only made things worse. Please don't waste your money .

bye bye pimples.... :D
Hi frnds... I ve been suffering with this acne for almost 6 to 7 yrs. Yes ! I ve tried being natural and chemical.... To be honest I wasted my money... The result was I kindled those sleeping volcanoes... It was during my engagement tat all broke out... Obviously pics we're ugly... Later I was prescribed to use benzac ac 2.5% in the morn and evening ... Clindac a gel during the night... After a week... To b honest I hated to even peep into the mirror cuz my skin was so dry... But I continued cuz my pimples were vanishing... Again I tel u... Pimples will vanish with those but scars should be treated separately... Cuz u cannot expect a coffee directly from a cow... Ingredients come from different resources in order to have an awesome coffee.... Coffee = skin... Tc frnds...

Product used: The Regimen
Worked wonders! Even if your a heavy makeup user
Well to start, hey guyss I'm Gabby lol I'm a 17 year old girl. I've tried so many products and even saw a dermatologist (FOR A YEAR) -waste of my time- I had excessive redness and I would say a little more than a fare amount of acne. I started this product in April, and it's amazing. It doesn't even do the whole "it's going to get worse before it gets better thing" it just starts to work! As of now my skin has dramatically changed. The redness along with the acne and blackheads have gone down so much! I'm not 100% clear but that is my fault most likely due to the make up I wear (liquid foundation, blush, bronzed etc) even with my daily make up use it still worked wonders! And as much of a difference it makes when you follow the steps to the letter. If your a bit of a slacker at times it still works magic! And when your skin starts clearing up more and more as you use it, the complements feel amazing to get all the time! Such a confidence boost! PS! IT DOESNT STING OR BURN LIKE OTHER PRODUCTS! That was a HUGE thumbs up for me!

Seriously a miracle!

Pros:

Works great, FAST!
Dries out pimples very quickly.
So cheap.

Cons:

Dryness is good and bad, quite irritating, but very effective.

This product is the best thing that's ever happened to me. I was so skeptical, since I bought it for literally a dollar on sale at Dollar General. But, it's only a dollar, so why not? I've always been apprehensive about benzoyl peroxide treatments because of my sensitive skin, and this one having 10%, I almost didn't even want to put it on my face. Boy, am I glad I did. I've suffered from mild to severe acne over the past seven years, trying everything from prescription, to natural, and to nothing. I use it with Johnson and Johnson Purpose gentle cleanser, a hypoallergenic, soap free cleanser that I can almost swear by. At first, I didn't experience any dryness or redness. I do now, but I really like the burning dryness. It makes me feel like I'm really killing the pimples. If you do experience dryness, even if it itches or burns, DON'T PUT MOISTURIZER ON IT YET. Let it dry out your pimples over night, and then use an extremely moisturizing lotion the next morning. After just one day, the redness and size of the pimples went down tremendously. After two days, it's just a small scab. It is the best product for people who are just ready to give up. I've even put it on a cyst, and it shrunk up to a small white head in just four days. It does not prevent the pimples, but it does kill the ones already present.

Jury is still out.

Cons:

Initial breakout of cysts 4 days into using product.

I just purchased Clearogen from my dermatologists office. I was diagnosed with Cystic Acne. I was also prescribed Spironolactone. I started this product exactly seven days ago. The reason why I felt compelled to write this review is because I didn't see anyone here, mention that this product could bring out breakouts. About 4 days into using Clearogen, my face developed 3 cysts, and it appears as every morning a new one appears. I am embarrassed to leave the house! I called my Dermatologists office, and she told me that using Clearogen, things would get worse before getting better. I am definitely in that stage. So, please folks, be prepared that you could end up looking worse using this, AT first. I am not saying this is a bad product, I am not saying it doesn't work, I am saying, be prepared that this may bring things to the surface, causing an initial breakout. I felt that it was very important for all of you to know that. I am praying that week two isn't as awful, and since I paid so much money for it, I'll give it a good 30 days until I make my final decision on this product.

Pros:

None

Cons:

Product did not work - acne got worse. Then when I cancelled they never cancelled the order and kept charging me. Months later when I discovered the error, they never made right.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. IT DOES NOT WORK AND THE COMPANY WILL NOT MAKE IT RIGHT WHEN YOU TRY TO CANCEL. UNETHICAL COMPANY AND POOR PRODUCT!!!!!!

Pros:

It did seem to keep my 14 yr. old son's face from breaking out as much

Cons:

When you make your first purchase you assume you are buying 1 box when in reality you are signing up for multiple shipments and charges to your credit card. I obviously did not read the very fine print thouroughly enough to see this before I ordered. They also do not tell you that after your "introductory" order of 29.95, your future orders that you did not even know you are ordering costs 99.95!! If you call to cancel the reps are extremely rude.

Don't get scammed like I did. Read the "fine print."

Finding a Doctor

The right dermatologist can make a big difference to your patient experience and the success of your acne treatment plan. Here are the steps to find a dermatologist who is a good fit:

  1. Use the search feature on the American Academy of Dermatology website to look for board-certified dermatologists in your area, and filter the search results for doctors with a special interest in treating acne.
  2. Read online patient reviews of any dermatologists you are considering and ask people you know whether they have any experience with these dermatologists.
  3. Do your research and go to your first appointment with questions prepared.
  4. Listen to what your gut feeling tells you once you see a dermatologist in person. If you are not completely comfortable, try a different dermatologist.

Finding a Doctor

Only a select few plastic surgeons specialize in acne scar revision surgery. Be certain to find a provider who specializes in acne scar repair and who is passionate and experienced in this area.

Be sure to:

  • Look at before and after photos, the more the better, especially patients with similar scarring to your own.
  • Be realistic about results. Look for improvement, not a cure.

Questions to ask a potential scar revision specialist:

  • Are you board certified? Be certain that they are board certified.
  • How long have you been performing these procedures? Normally, the more experience the better, however, some younger surgeons may be more on top of the latest procedures.
  • Can I speak to some of your other patients? Ask for references for several patients who had similar scarring and speak to them about the process and their satisfaction with results.

Red flags:

  • Their story changes: As you discuss different treatment options, if they tend to change their mind easily, or agree with whatever you say, consider this a red flag. A confident, experienced surgeon will possess strong, unwavering opinions.
  • Your gut tells you "no": Trust your gut. If you just don't feel that the doctor is the right fit, trust that and move on. On the other hand, if you feel they are the perfect specialist for you, trust that feeling.
