The best!
I have been using this product for about 2weeks now and the result is incredible. I'm not gonna lie I did had my miserable moment at first when I started using it. The first week of using my breakout got worse and my skin got really dry and flakey. I wouldn't even want to go outside for people to see my face. I was miserable I got stress out. But after fees day of continued use I saw that my acne was going away and I got less dry and flakey skin. I'm still at the less dry and flakey stage of the regime right now but I think it's worth it. I'm just so happy my pimples or acne is going away after trying numerous products like x-out, proactive and many other drugs store products. This has so far been my best decision ever. I so recommend this product for anyone. All you have to do is stay true to yourself and go through the first month even if you think the product is not working trust me when I said the first week was a killer for me. Some days the flakey ness was so bad that I used a toothbrush to brush it off and it actually did help on my part. for some it might take about two months to see results and I'll tell it's worth the try. I gave this a four yet because my skin is still some dry and flakey but I know it will go away. Thanks and I hope this help someone.

This product is a life saver.
I've had mild to extreme acne since the 5th grade, and it got worse each year leading up to now. Acne has always been my worst flaw and my biggest insecurity. I've always covered it up with layers of makeup just so I felt comfortable in public. After 4 years of living in misery with my acne, and after trying many, MANY products, I found this regimen. I was a little on the edge about trying it, because I found it online and heard of it in commercials. I don't normally trust the internet for my medications. I watched plenty of youtube reviews and checked with my facialist before I bought it. I will never, ever regret buying this regimen. It works better than the products my dermatologist suggested. When I started using this treatment, my acne flared within the first week, but I continued to use it, in hope that my acne would die down. After the first week, my face started to become clearer and clearer. I've now been using this product for a month, and worn makeup with it, and my skin has never looked better. Thanks to Acne.org, I no longer have to be ashamed of my acne, and I feel beautiful. I am never, EVER turning back from this regimen, and I can't wait until my face is completely clear.

When I first tried it, it was nice and gentle with my skin and a few days later I started seeing results. The only problem with this product is that is sometimes leaves your face greasy, but otherwise this product was efficient with my skin

Awesome BP Product
I was on the hunt for a benzoyl peroxide alternative as my 5% spot treatment was just too drying and harsh on my combination (with very dry areas) skin; I have been suffering from terrible hormonal acne since having a hormonal contraceptive implant inserted, after years of off and on acne troubles. I spotted this at Walmart amongst other acne treatment products and decided to give it a try, as I have used the Spectro Jel cleansers quite a few times. This "wash" appears to be a newer product also, and contains 4% BP. In my experience using this product, it is important to remember that it is NOT a cleanser per se, and avoid getting it in your eyes at all costs (extreme burning will result as I made that mistake haha). It is a very creamy product that you are supposed to massage into your skin for 1-2 minutes before rinsing off; I use a normal cleanser to remove any makeup before putting this stuff on. As far as results go, I have noticed a difference in my acne - while I still get spots, they are fewer in number, and if I am experiencing a bad breakout, this wash clears up the worst pimples pretty quick. And it delivers just what I was looking for in the first place - NO harshness or drying effects at all, in fact it leaves my skin very smooth and soft, due to the wash containing 7 moisturizers. It is also very effective on back acne, which I sometimes experience. After 2 days of using it on my back, the bacne is all but gone! So all in all, I love this wash! 4% BP but NON-DRYING, very creamy, leaves your skin smooth and soft, and it has worked for me so far. Only downside would probably be the price (it was around $15), but the tube size is generous.

Give it time but it works
My son is almost 16 and had fairly bad acne, not horrible, but I know it bothered him. He kept his feelings about it to himself, as some boys tend to do, but I knew it was really bothering him. A friend of his told him about acne.org and I very reluctantly ordered it--we had tried so many different "regimens" that I had no faith one way or another--just spending another 50 bucks that I could hardly afford. He has followed the treatment to the letter and after about 5 weeks, I saw his skin tonight and it was like his 12 year old skin again. A few pimples here and there but not what it was before. The key is you have to follow the instructions religiously and be at peace with the 50 bucks a month it'll cost you. But the difference in how he feels is worth it...one less night out for me or new shoes is worth seeing him feel confident about himself again. Be sure to buy Jojo oil as the regime make the skin very, very dry. I left one star of because the instructions are really bad, basically a slip of paper with some rules to follow. [link removed] should understand that some careful words of encouragement can keep people with the program. Other than that, if you're a parent who is concerned about your child's acne, and if your child can stick with a routine, this product does what it claims to do.

Finding a Doctor

The right dermatologist can make a big difference to your patient experience and the success of your acne treatment plan. Here are the steps to find a dermatologist who is a good fit:

  1. Use the search feature on the American Academy of Dermatology website to look for board-certified dermatologists in your area, and filter the search results for doctors with a special interest in treating acne.
  2. Read online patient reviews of any dermatologists you are considering and ask people you know whether they have any experience with these dermatologists.
  3. Do your research and go to your first appointment with questions prepared.
  4. Listen to what your gut feeling tells you once you see a dermatologist in person. If you are not completely comfortable, try a different dermatologist.

Finding a Doctor

Only a select few plastic surgeons specialize in acne scar revision surgery. Be certain to find a provider who specializes in acne scar repair and who is passionate and experienced in this area.

Be sure to:

  • Look at before and after photos, the more the better, especially patients with similar scarring to your own.
  • Be realistic about results. Look for improvement, not a cure.

Questions to ask a potential scar revision specialist:

  • Are you board certified? Be certain that they are board certified.
  • How long have you been performing these procedures? Normally, the more experience the better, however, some younger surgeons may be more on top of the latest procedures.
  • Can I speak to some of your other patients? Ask for references for several patients who had similar scarring and speak to them about the process and their satisfaction with results.

Red flags:

  • Their story changes: As you discuss different treatment options, if they tend to change their mind easily, or agree with whatever you say, consider this a red flag. A confident, experienced surgeon will possess strong, unwavering opinions.
  • Your gut tells you "no": Trust your gut. If you just don't feel that the doctor is the right fit, trust that and move on. On the other hand, if you feel they are the perfect specialist for you, trust that feeling.
