Pros:

Green Tea Moisturizer is good

Cons:

Provokes very dry skin
Skin peeling
Provokes breakouts

A little about me, I have dry acne-prone skin. I did not have sensitive skin, until I used this product. Just not worth it. I was really excited to try this, and after using it for 2 weeks my face was so dry that I had to go to a dermatologist. My face started peeling horribly, just really not worth it. It was extremely harsh, and did not do anything good to my skin.

Pros:

Works Well
Gentle

Cons:

Expensive Without Insurance
Medicine Fragrance

I love this stuff! BP Cleansing wash combined with my other products have cleared up my skin completely. I use it twice a day, first thing in the morning and in the evening before bedtime. It is gentle and leaves my skin feeling smooth and clean afterwards. My skin has never looked better and having this as part of my regular routine is definitively a major factor to my clear skin. I highly recommend this product, the only problem may be that it is expensive without insurance (I've seen my exact size 16. fl oz. for $240.00! Ouch!) I got mine for $5.00, so I know I can't go wrong with this stuff. Get it if you can!

Pros:

Helps shrink big stubborn pimples
Not deathly over drying

Cons:

It's not a miracle product like these other people are describing.

I bought this flat out because of good reviews. I get stubborn pimples that generally don't have heads on them, so I needed something to help sink into the skin. This product helps, but it isn't a lifesaving cream. I notice that with large pimple, they naturally go away in 5 or so days. This stuff will cut it down to 2-3 if you apply morning and night. For the smaller pimples, it made no difference for me at least. They would go away naturally in 3ish days with or without. I'm giving this 3 stars instead of 2 though because it is good if you apply to a site where you feel something coming up. It will keep it from growing into a full blown painful zit.

Pros:

Fabulous

Cons:

Pardon?

Melts into the skin like liquid silk. Really quick to apply. Honestly, I don't even need to use as much Dan suggests. Works amazingly for chest breakouts as well. This...lasts me forever...I have noninflamed acne which the most annoyingly impossible to treat. And I've tried oodles of things, other bp treatments as well. I was really dubious as to if this would work, considering my past endeavors with bp proved helpful but unsuccessful in the end. I really shouldn't have waited so long to order this (i hate ordering things online). I could've bypassed a lot of other experiments. It's just...the miracle, really. So gentle yet so effective. Even after using this for so long, it hasn't lost its potency. At least in my case, this usually happens. No, not Dan's bp!

Cons:

Make my skin so dry. Personally, i have dry skin and this product make it even worse

After all, I am still very glad to buy this product. I'd rather have a dry skin than having acne problem. And using moisturizer help my skin feel better now.

Pros:

Really works
Doesn't dry out my skin as it was when first using it

Cons:

Price
Really dry you out when first using it

I had acne for about two years. I have oily skin I tried many kinds of acne treatment, but none of them work. Not at all. Then I found out about Clinique acne solution, I decided to give it a try. When I first used it, it dry out my skin really bad, but after about a week, I get used to it, it helps control the oil but doesn't dry me out. I just bought the third one. I love the product. Everyone start telling me that my face is getting better now. I'm SO happy with the result. Beside all that, the price is expensive Bc it only for a month. Other than that, I totally recommend this product

Pros:

effective
visible results

Cons:

a bit irritating

I will say I don't tend to have a lot of acnes, but most of them are caused by blackheads on my forehead( because of stress ) , and i will squeeze them ( cause scaring and sometimes )they became acnes:( . I use it for one night , and i can already notice that some of the blackhead and large pores are cleared. But of course , it is slightly irritating , I have more of a normal to dry skin, and I will put this on in front of my moisturizer. ( But i will say i can bare the irritation) , It's just i will put more at night then in the morning. I will say that this cream does help , and if you are in a hopeless situation , definately give it a try

Pros:

helps acne
prevents acne
not as expensive as OTC BP
only 2.5 s less irritation

Cons:

could only buy online
BLEACHES EVERYTHING
Dries skin horribly
too much of a hassle
didn't completely cure my acne
made me develop eczema
horrible flakiness in first few months

So I started dans regimen on novemeber '11. I kind of did my own thing though ; wash with his cleanser,BP,and moisturize with EVOO. Only used BP at night because I have pretty sensitive skin and the most I went was 2 pumps of this.Dryness never really went away but flakiness did decrease a ton. It never cured my acne but did decrease by about 80% the most. I had to stop because I for some reason developed eczema around a week ago and I don't even get horrible redness and all that stuff, well i haven't stopped yet because IDK what my next regimen will be but I am using a small amount atm. This des work for many but unfortunately with the eczema it was a big confirmation to really stop, too many cons but i do have to say it is the best thing I've used to help my acne since it got so bad, but it is unhealthy, make sure to use sunscreen if you are deciding to use this and go very slowly, good luck for those who try it.

Pros:

Deep cleaning, tightens skin (in a good way), unclogs pores.

Cons:

Expensive(I live in NJ), drying

Great product, I have had acne for over 11 years and used several products. I used this in conjunction with biore facial scrub and it works wonders. I had severe acne through high school and it fluctuates from moderate to severe. Now I'd say it's moderate to mild. I do have acne scarring, pock marks and red marks. My skin is softer (albeit a little dry, but I moisturize a lot) less break outs 2-3 active pimples rather than 7-8 which is the norm for me. I am happy with the results. I normally don't rate products because a lot of the products I've used stop working after 2 weeks. So I stop using and move on. This one has been consistent for 3 months. :)

Finding a Doctor

The right dermatologist can make a big difference to your patient experience and the success of your acne treatment plan. Here are the steps to find a dermatologist who is a good fit:

  1. Use the search feature on the American Academy of Dermatology website to look for board-certified dermatologists in your area, and filter the search results for doctors with a special interest in treating acne.
  2. Read online patient reviews of any dermatologists you are considering and ask people you know whether they have any experience with these dermatologists.
  3. Do your research and go to your first appointment with questions prepared.
  4. Listen to what your gut feeling tells you once you see a dermatologist in person. If you are not completely comfortable, try a different dermatologist.

Finding a Doctor

Only a select few plastic surgeons specialize in acne scar revision surgery. Be certain to find a provider who specializes in acne scar repair and who is passionate and experienced in this area.

Be sure to:

  • Look at before and after photos, the more the better, especially patients with similar scarring to your own.
  • Be realistic about results. Look for improvement, not a cure.

Questions to ask a potential scar revision specialist:

  • Are you board certified? Be certain that they are board certified.
  • How long have you been performing these procedures? Normally, the more experience the better, however, some younger surgeons may be more on top of the latest procedures.
  • Can I speak to some of your other patients? Ask for references for several patients who had similar scarring and speak to them about the process and their satisfaction with results.

Red flags:

  • Their story changes: As you discuss different treatment options, if they tend to change their mind easily, or agree with whatever you say, consider this a red flag. A confident, experienced surgeon will possess strong, unwavering opinions.
  • Your gut tells you "no": Trust your gut. If you just don't feel that the doctor is the right fit, trust that and move on. On the other hand, if you feel they are the perfect specialist for you, trust that feeling.
