Pros:

Gets rid of Acne very well. Pretty quick at getting rid of any unwanted acne. Works on my blackheads as well.

Cons:

Takes longer then the '3 days' advertised. It tends to dry out the skin at times and can feel like it's burning, not just skin, but your nose and eyes too.

Very good product, just don't over do it. It could really dry out your skin if used more than twice a day. Over all, it's great.

Pros:

worked miracles from around the first few days~months for me ^_^ also made the texture of my skin very smooth :] works well for inflamed acne, but not as well for blackheads ;S

Cons:

-i started getting minor breakouts on my forehead from 'step 3' after the first few months
-BP has a tendancy to dry your skin out, so make sure you have a very effective moisturizer
-some ppl break out when they stop using it for a few days

worth a try if you have severe acne ;] a little bit pricey tho ;S

Pros:

I used it for a years, and love it

Cons:

don't use it everyday, drys skin

I use to use differin by prescription, which has the benzoyl peroxide also, when i discovered the pan oxyl which had the same I started using this to see how it works and works about the same as the prescribed medication. Since then i been using pan oxyl instead of the prescribed and never had a problem. Its a great product, and everytime i break out i use it and within a week the acne is gone.

Pros:

it works really well to help dry up those big painfu pimples and prevent them from coming back. the little bumps dissappear over time!! and your skin feels smooth and soft with continued use!!

Cons:

it made my skin a little more red than usual at fist, but if you use moisturizer afterwards, it will help a LOT!!

this is a great product for people with oily skin and really bad acne. it's best to use a moisturizer afterwards if you DON'T have oily skin. and please before you guys write reviews, give it at least two to three weeks for it to really work and see the true results.

Cons:

IT WORKS. I have been suffering with acne for about six years. I'm 20 now, I have tried everything. This was the last thing I used for my face and of course the last thing works..lol. I tell everyone about it and how it changed my life. I went thoguh so much with my skin. If you want clean skin USE IT. That's the bottom line.

Pros:

It worked well on my skin, making it less oily. It really helped with all my blackheads

Cons:

it doesn't come with a moisturizer and dries out some types of skin, so its a good idea to buy one.

It worked for me, but ive heard it doesn't work for other people. But me and my beast friend both swear by it.

Pros:

-Works at first. - I havent noticed any bleaching of my hair or fabrics.
-Doesnt smell TOO bad.- Easy to use.
-Monthly supply lasts a long time.

Cons:

-Works at first then stops.-Makes your skin DRY
-Burns sometimes.

Okay, here's the deal. It worked pretty well at first, but it got gradually less effective as i used it. it makes your skin SO dry and the toning stuff burns like crazy. Its really hard to stop using it though because even just two days of not using it, i broke out terribly. So... use it if you can keep it up, but NEVER quit for a few days...

Finding a Doctor

The right dermatologist can make a big difference to your patient experience and the success of your acne treatment plan. Here are the steps to find a dermatologist who is a good fit:

  1. Use the search feature on the American Academy of Dermatology website to look for board-certified dermatologists in your area, and filter the search results for doctors with a special interest in treating acne.
  2. Read online patient reviews of any dermatologists you are considering and ask people you know whether they have any experience with these dermatologists.
  3. Do your research and go to your first appointment with questions prepared.
  4. Listen to what your gut feeling tells you once you see a dermatologist in person. If you are not completely comfortable, try a different dermatologist.

Finding a Doctor

Only a select few plastic surgeons specialize in acne scar revision surgery. Be certain to find a provider who specializes in acne scar repair and who is passionate and experienced in this area.

Be sure to:

  • Look at before and after photos, the more the better, especially patients with similar scarring to your own.
  • Be realistic about results. Look for improvement, not a cure.

Questions to ask a potential scar revision specialist:

  • Are you board certified? Be certain that they are board certified.
  • How long have you been performing these procedures? Normally, the more experience the better, however, some younger surgeons may be more on top of the latest procedures.
  • Can I speak to some of your other patients? Ask for references for several patients who had similar scarring and speak to them about the process and their satisfaction with results.

Red flags:

  • Their story changes: As you discuss different treatment options, if they tend to change their mind easily, or agree with whatever you say, consider this a red flag. A confident, experienced surgeon will possess strong, unwavering opinions.
  • Your gut tells you "no": Trust your gut. If you just don't feel that the doctor is the right fit, trust that and move on. On the other hand, if you feel they are the perfect specialist for you, trust that feeling.
