Amazing, however, don't use it like this..
This face wash works so well. At first uses, it cleared my acne and left me feeling fresh everyday. But I had constantly been harshly rubbing my face when using the toner as I felt like it would remove a larger percent of the dirt. I also used it day and night everyday making my skin extremely dry. Due to this, I developed an allergy to this set, my eyes get puffy (r e a l l y puffy), and it makes my face red and itchy. It hurts so much yet I continue the use of it ~ It does work, just don't use it the way I did

Changed formula???
I was surprised when I bought this because it seems that they changed the formula???? It's not a white cream anymore, it comes out clear! And it also doesn't have that putrid scent I used to HATE. Still dries my skin out when I first start using it, but by the 3rd day it's alright. I get small breakouts from stress and my period and this helps clear them up within days. I don't know, I've been hearing from people that it caused them to break out but I think it works better than the old stuff.

Some help
Ok can I just say, I'm a 14 year old girl (Caucasian) who doesn't have proper bad acne but I do get a lot of little breakouts and big pimples here and there, recently I have also started get very very sore painful cystic spots around my face in deiffernet areas, these are very hard to clear but I use other products for them. I am athletic and I do competitive swimming so I hate having spots because for obvious reasons I can't wear makeup to swimming. I think clearasil is accually very good because it doesn't really do anything when u just aply it to one spot but I started putting it all over my face every night and washing it off in the morning. If you keep doing this you will notice your skin starts to really clear. It prevents a lot of breakouts I promise, but again different things work for different people so just try this. Also it doesn't cause any irritation and is not strong at all so you don't have to worry about breaking out if your skin doesn't take to it

Honestly try it, if it works, you're in very good hands. It worked for me and I changed the moisturizer because it wasn't for me but moisturizers are unique for many different skin types/people so I heard;therefore don't knock it till you try it. The Cleanser (step 1) and Treatment (step 2) is what works. Like from human to human not a scam and they are known as top treatments from other sources. Um also it gets worse before it gets better I'm 1 month and two weeks in. Hopefully it works for you all. Good luck.

Clears skin but makes skin red

Been on the regimen for 5 months ish. Using own moisturizer and cleanser. This regimen DOES clear your skin especially if you do it twice a day. However, your skin will get red and dry, which is a big negative side effect in my opinion. So I guess there is a tradeoff between clear skin and reddish skin. 4/5

EDIT!

1 year later - I've been doing the regimen twice a day for 1 year and 5 months now. The regimen keeps the skin 90% clear, however i still get red and irritated skin after applying BP. So I have 90% clear skin but my skin is red while the rest of my body is white...

Working
I'm using this a little over a week now and it's really resduced my acne. I am waiting to be put on accutane, so I needed something in the meantime. I bought this in Boots for 15€ and I have to say it's really working but you need to be consistent in applying it. I use it religiously every night and sometimes during the day too. It does dry out your skin but nothing major. I would recommend this and if tried lots of different treatments.

Mild- Moderate Cystic Acne Treament
I have mild to moderate cystic acne along my jawline and lower cheeks and with some adult acne on my forehead. PanOxyl is seriously the best. I am using adapelene .03% and clindamycin lotion 1% both perscribed by my derm. I was originally using cetaphil as recommended from the doctor but I had a horrible initial breakout from the adapelene and was so depressed my face was covered in redness and cysts and cetaphil did nothing for my face. I came across PanOxyl in my local pharmacy and decided to give it a try. I saw a noticeable difference in 3 days. By 7 days my face was basically clear of all acne and redness. By week 2, my face is completely clear and my complexion is back to normal! I am still using PanOxyl once daily at night followed by adapelene and Cetaphil moisturizer. In the morning I wash my face with jojoba oil and put clindamycin lotion and cetaphil lotion for the day. This stuff seriously works if you have acne, however, it is severely drying. Like I mean my face is flaming and it's partially because of the adapelene retinoid but I wouldn't recommend using this more than 1 time per day but I would ask your derm. Just load up on mosturizer and you should be fine! I've also heard this doesn't work for everybody but you should give it a try because I had amazing results and wanted to share this because my acne has caused severe depression and if Theres anyone else struggling with it I hope this will help them find their cure as well! (Also the 4 stars is because it's so drying) otherwise would give it a 5.

Works Very Well
I am a 24 year old female and have been dealing with moderate, extremely persistent acne on and off for about 10 years. I have been on five rounds of Accutane which all helped for awhile but the acne would come back. After countless OTC products and other prescriptions/oral medications, I finally decided to try the acne.org regimen. I spent a lot of time reading reviews and trying to decide if it was something I wanted to use. I was hesitant as I live in Canada and knew that the shipping would be expensive. However, about two and a half months ago I decided to order the starter kit. I have been using it faithfully and diligently 2x per day as directed and my skin is now completely clear. It took about 5-6 weeks until my skin really became clear and the breakouts stopped. I have now been able to drop down to just one pump of the BP instead of a full two pumps as I was getting quite irritated from it. I really like this system for its acne-clearing performance- it really works well if you stick to it. I do find that my skin is still very dry and can become irritated on and off, and I will just adjust the routine accordingly. I have never written a review but promised myself that I would if this actually worked- all these reviews helped me decide if I should use the acne.org products and I hope that my review can do the same for you!

Benzac works alright
Hi all, I'm 26 now and suffered from severe acne when I was 25. I purchased the 3 pack benzac cream (facewash, lotion and cream 2.5%) and it worked great from me. Use the facewash 2 times a day (morning and night) and apply a layer of the benzac lotion at night time only. Use the cream (2.5%) lightly at night. Continue for about 6-12 months. The 3 pack should last you that long. The only drawback is scarring which is caused by the cream (2.5) but if used in moderation, it shouldn't be too bad. I've stopped for a couple of months now and my acne has returned a bit on my cheeks only. My advise is continue using benzac as I will now and remember to use the cream in moderation as they are pretty strong on your skin and will cause scarring that can last a long time =)

Finding a Doctor

The right dermatologist can make a big difference to your patient experience and the success of your acne treatment plan. Here are the steps to find a dermatologist who is a good fit:

  1. Use the search feature on the American Academy of Dermatology website to look for board-certified dermatologists in your area, and filter the search results for doctors with a special interest in treating acne.
  2. Read online patient reviews of any dermatologists you are considering and ask people you know whether they have any experience with these dermatologists.
  3. Do your research and go to your first appointment with questions prepared.
  4. Listen to what your gut feeling tells you once you see a dermatologist in person. If you are not completely comfortable, try a different dermatologist.

Finding a Doctor

Only a select few plastic surgeons specialize in acne scar revision surgery. Be certain to find a provider who specializes in acne scar repair and who is passionate and experienced in this area.

Be sure to:

  • Look at before and after photos, the more the better, especially patients with similar scarring to your own.
  • Be realistic about results. Look for improvement, not a cure.

Questions to ask a potential scar revision specialist:

  • Are you board certified? Be certain that they are board certified.
  • How long have you been performing these procedures? Normally, the more experience the better, however, some younger surgeons may be more on top of the latest procedures.
  • Can I speak to some of your other patients? Ask for references for several patients who had similar scarring and speak to them about the process and their satisfaction with results.

Red flags:

  • Their story changes: As you discuss different treatment options, if they tend to change their mind easily, or agree with whatever you say, consider this a red flag. A confident, experienced surgeon will possess strong, unwavering opinions.
  • Your gut tells you "no": Trust your gut. If you just don't feel that the doctor is the right fit, trust that and move on. On the other hand, if you feel they are the perfect specialist for you, trust that feeling.
