Pros:

come in a large supply, 16 ounces

Cons:

none

Three people in my home use it. My daughter, 37, my grandson 16, and me, 61. Its the only thing we have tried in years of using products, that has helped. Now my 8 year old granddaughter wants to use it because it makes her skin feel smooth so she says. since she has no acne, i wont waste a drop on her, we need it.

Its inexpensive and easy to use

Cons:

Dried my face like crazy. They should use come up with a maxclarity mostuirzer.

I have been using the product for about 1 1/2 week and it has really helped my skin. I try to put on mosturizer a least 3 times a day to help.

Pros:

A truly effective (and cost effective) product.

Cons:

Initial redness, itchiness and flakiness, but was just a matter of figuring out the correct moisturizer ratio.

Try The Regimen (as this is the key ingredient to its effectiveness, certainly try it, but make sure to do the entire system and not just parts).

Pros:

IT WORKS. proactive and all that other crap doesn't. you're paying for the commercials, not the ingredients or results with those.

Cons:

none. just use white wash cloths.

IT WORKS. the little particles in there help to exfoliate & your skin feels refreshed afterward, really naked. there is no cure, but this is the best thing out there. drinking lots of water helps, eating healthy (as in NO PROCESSED FOODS) helps as well. we are what we eat. i have been told that life long acne is an indication of a liver deficit, the toxins we take in ar enot properly handled by the liver so they have to come out somehow=acne. long term address of underlying liver issues may also help.

Pros:

=Easy to use, I like the foam idea

Cons:

-Did not work for me
-As with all others I've ordered off TV, the people find a way to screw you out of your money.

I liked the foam, & would love to find a foam that actually works for me! This one did not. & the maxclarity ppl, even after I called to cancel it, charged my card for an extra shipment. Be very careful with them, & make sure you discuss these things with them.

Pros:

a little goes a long way. This works and doesn't dry out my skin. finally something that works and doesn't cost an arm and a leg!Fast shipping too.

Cons:

I'm a fan and I have no cons to report!

This is the only product that has ever worked for my adult acne and I have tried many of the most popular and expensive treatments. I have recommended this to my friends and my teen children also use it.

Pros:

Actually works wonders, unlike other products!
Doesn't dry out skin!
Makes skin feel squeaky clean!
No harsh preservative crud in this stuff!
Affordable, with bottles that last forever.
I've looked forever for an acne solution that worked and kept my skin clear, my search stopped when I found this product.
I will never use another acne product on my face, this stuff is the best money can buy.

Cons:

Seriously cannot think of ANY cons.
This stuff is a miracle that is actually affordable.

If you have acne, and it is annoying you and making you feel self conscious, you HAVE to try this product. I'm serious, this was the best thing I ever did for my skin. Plus, Steve, the owner, is a super nice guy, who actually cares about his users. I COULDN'T ask for a better product.

Finding a Doctor

The right dermatologist can make a big difference to your patient experience and the success of your acne treatment plan. Here are the steps to find a dermatologist who is a good fit:

  1. Use the search feature on the American Academy of Dermatology website to look for board-certified dermatologists in your area, and filter the search results for doctors with a special interest in treating acne.
  2. Read online patient reviews of any dermatologists you are considering and ask people you know whether they have any experience with these dermatologists.
  3. Do your research and go to your first appointment with questions prepared.
  4. Listen to what your gut feeling tells you once you see a dermatologist in person. If you are not completely comfortable, try a different dermatologist.

Finding a Doctor

Only a select few plastic surgeons specialize in acne scar revision surgery. Be certain to find a provider who specializes in acne scar repair and who is passionate and experienced in this area.

Be sure to:

  • Look at before and after photos, the more the better, especially patients with similar scarring to your own.
  • Be realistic about results. Look for improvement, not a cure.

Questions to ask a potential scar revision specialist:

  • Are you board certified? Be certain that they are board certified.
  • How long have you been performing these procedures? Normally, the more experience the better, however, some younger surgeons may be more on top of the latest procedures.
  • Can I speak to some of your other patients? Ask for references for several patients who had similar scarring and speak to them about the process and their satisfaction with results.

Red flags:

  • Their story changes: As you discuss different treatment options, if they tend to change their mind easily, or agree with whatever you say, consider this a red flag. A confident, experienced surgeon will possess strong, unwavering opinions.
  • Your gut tells you "no": Trust your gut. If you just don't feel that the doctor is the right fit, trust that and move on. On the other hand, if you feel they are the perfect specialist for you, trust that feeling.
