Pros:

I've been using this for several years now and absolutely love it. I know this is a cliche, but I did try everything under the sun for adult acne and nothing worked until I tried this. Now my skin is really clear and smooth. Just try it!!

Cons:

At first it was the staining of the wash cloths but now I know if you use the soap after the cleanser it won't stain anything.

Just try it 'coz they do have the money back guarantee!! You can't loose!!

Pros:

Absolutely nothing.

Cons:

After one week face erupted in a very big, itchy, red rash from my cheeks down to my neck. (Was told this was the face getting used to the product.) Kept using it. What replaced the rash was horrible acne.

Would never recommend this garbage to anyone. It made me break out 10000x worse than I ever have in my life. As with most other reviewers I was getting acne in areas that I never even had acne in the first place. They weren't small either. Large, red, cystic painful lumps. I never had horrible acne, just hormonal and after using this, I would wake up every single day with a new acne. I am JUST repairing the damage to my face. I was left with hyperpigmentation on my cheeks, and indented scars. I use Aveeno products now along with Olay Regenerist Microdermabrasion and my face has never looked better.

Pros:

cheap cheap cheap....

Cons:

too many chemicals - will dry your skin out and cause more acne...

Let me begin by saying that this is NOT a "glowing review" as one person put it of the Made from Earth Rosehip Face Serum. I can honestly say that this is the one moisturizer I have found that doesn't feel like I have slicked body lotion on my face. All other moisturizers feel heavy and if I sweat, let's say in the summertime, they start to melt and make me even more uncomfortable. This is not the case with the Made from Earth Rosehip & Hibiscus Face Serum!!! I love this thing and i went from rarely ever using moisturizer (b/c i couldn't find a good one) to using it every day. It smells great with no fragrence, but I think the hibiscus gives it a light aroma. . .it's kinda soft and flowery. I highly recommend this moisturizer. . .you can find it at [link removed]. . .its cheaper online (even with shipping) than buying it at the mall or Sephora...I believe Sephora sells it for over $30!

Pros:

good for small pimples, seems to make my small pimples go away

Cons:

doesn't work to good there is a pimple on my nose and it doesn't seem to go away with the bp

Well I been using the regimen for 2 weeks now and my acne seems to get clearer but what sucks is that the big pimples don't go away it just stays the same omg!!!!!!

Pros:

Makes skin clear and keeps it clear. Works well with oily skin.

Cons:

Runs out too quickly. Not really sold much in stores nearby, and when it is, it's always off the shelf too quickly!

The ingredients used are simple. Not too much added heady fragrance. The texture is light too. But, please, don't make the main ingredient syclic acid.

Pros:

It works!!!!!!!

Cons:

It can be drying, but it is benzoyl peroxide, after all. I would like a different dispensing "head" to make for easier travel.

I LOVE this product! I've used many, many products over the years, but have never been successful in my battle against acne -- until now! Since using The Regimen, I don't have breakouts. I will get a pimple every now & then, mainly when I'm not using The Regimen correclty/consistently, but it goes away very quickly once I return to proper usage. I've always been told that I was pretty in spite of my acne, but for the first time in my entire life, I was told recently that I have beautiful skin. The Regimen may seem a little pricey, but this makes it worth it -- that, and the fact that the products last forever! If you haven't bought it yet, do so now -- your search for an acne treatment that works is over!

Finding a Doctor

The right dermatologist can make a big difference to your patient experience and the success of your acne treatment plan. Here are the steps to find a dermatologist who is a good fit:

  1. Use the search feature on the American Academy of Dermatology website to look for board-certified dermatologists in your area, and filter the search results for doctors with a special interest in treating acne.
  2. Read online patient reviews of any dermatologists you are considering and ask people you know whether they have any experience with these dermatologists.
  3. Do your research and go to your first appointment with questions prepared.
  4. Listen to what your gut feeling tells you once you see a dermatologist in person. If you are not completely comfortable, try a different dermatologist.

Finding a Doctor

Only a select few plastic surgeons specialize in acne scar revision surgery. Be certain to find a provider who specializes in acne scar repair and who is passionate and experienced in this area.

Be sure to:

  • Look at before and after photos, the more the better, especially patients with similar scarring to your own.
  • Be realistic about results. Look for improvement, not a cure.

Questions to ask a potential scar revision specialist:

  • Are you board certified? Be certain that they are board certified.
  • How long have you been performing these procedures? Normally, the more experience the better, however, some younger surgeons may be more on top of the latest procedures.
  • Can I speak to some of your other patients? Ask for references for several patients who had similar scarring and speak to them about the process and their satisfaction with results.

Red flags:

  • Their story changes: As you discuss different treatment options, if they tend to change their mind easily, or agree with whatever you say, consider this a red flag. A confident, experienced surgeon will possess strong, unwavering opinions.
  • Your gut tells you "no": Trust your gut. If you just don't feel that the doctor is the right fit, trust that and move on. On the other hand, if you feel they are the perfect specialist for you, trust that feeling.
