Pros:

It smells ok?...

Cons:

Caused redness & stinging.

I have oily sensitive skin and the instant I put it on my face was on fire :'( I guess its just my skin type but it didn't work for me. I thought the burn would go away after a week but it actually made my skin worse.

Pros:

This product has saved me tons of heartache in searching for another solution to my acne. I started using this product about two years ago and there is no looking back. I couldn't leave the house to run to the store without make-up before.

Cons:

It is a bit pricey, but now i just time it with clinique bonus time and it seems like a great treat.

My complexion is completly clear now and has been since i started using it. For those of you who had terrible outbreaks with it, it sounds ike maybe an allergic reaction, also it may take up to 6 weeks for your skin to cleanse itself and for the product to work its magic. I highly reccomed this to anyone having acne troubles. I had tried everything including Acutane which is really harsh and quite dangerous. I had struggled with acne since my teens and now i don't have to worry about it. My only wish is i'd found it sooner.

Pros:

As a 46 yo woman I have struggled with acne for 36 yrs. This stuff ia the best acne product for adult skin that I have ever used. It is gentle yet effective. My skin is smooth and bump free for the first time in my life. I swear by it!

Cons:

I have not experienced anything negative with this product and I have using it for 2 1/2 years.

Amazing product for all types of acne; excellent for adult/mature skin. It has truly helped my severe adult acne and I am able to go make-up free. In addition the soap is the best I have ever used and has also helped acne on my back. It is non-drying and leaves my skin feeling smooth, clean, and clear. Moisturizer is gentle, smells awesome and is non-greasy.

Pros:

Skin feels smooth, clears up acne in the beggining

Cons:

after a few week, it stops working, its expencive to order online. seems as though it bleached my skin, so my face is whiter than the resat of my body. after a while it seems like its not working at all.

I wouldnt recommend it, all the hype is a load of crap. they have obviously air brushed their pictures online. I was expecting great skin, and it didn't happen. i wouldnt bother again.

Pros:

THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE 'SENSITIVE' LINE.
Works for a while

Cons:

Stops working after about 2 months (almost as if your face has built up immunity to it or something).
Oil-free moisturizer gives skin an oily appearance (-_-)

I would recommend it if they sold all the products half the size they are now (half the price also), so it finishes when it stops working.

Pros:

smells nice

Cons:

EVERYTHING! please don't buy this product. I was trying to clear up some pimples, so I used this product and it gave me terrible acne all over my face.

I've stopped using it, and am planning to return it for my full refund asap.

Pros:

Great price when compared to stuff like ProActiv. No bad smells. Worked great for the first month!

Cons:

After the first month it went down hill. It just doesn't seem to do anything now. My skin will not respond to it.

Maybe if you only had very light acne it would work - and continue to work.

Finding a Doctor

The right dermatologist can make a big difference to your patient experience and the success of your acne treatment plan. Here are the steps to find a dermatologist who is a good fit:

  1. Use the search feature on the American Academy of Dermatology website to look for board-certified dermatologists in your area, and filter the search results for doctors with a special interest in treating acne.
  2. Read online patient reviews of any dermatologists you are considering and ask people you know whether they have any experience with these dermatologists.
  3. Do your research and go to your first appointment with questions prepared.
  4. Listen to what your gut feeling tells you once you see a dermatologist in person. If you are not completely comfortable, try a different dermatologist.

Finding a Doctor

Only a select few plastic surgeons specialize in acne scar revision surgery. Be certain to find a provider who specializes in acne scar repair and who is passionate and experienced in this area.

Be sure to:

  • Look at before and after photos, the more the better, especially patients with similar scarring to your own.
  • Be realistic about results. Look for improvement, not a cure.

Questions to ask a potential scar revision specialist:

  • Are you board certified? Be certain that they are board certified.
  • How long have you been performing these procedures? Normally, the more experience the better, however, some younger surgeons may be more on top of the latest procedures.
  • Can I speak to some of your other patients? Ask for references for several patients who had similar scarring and speak to them about the process and their satisfaction with results.

Red flags:

  • Their story changes: As you discuss different treatment options, if they tend to change their mind easily, or agree with whatever you say, consider this a red flag. A confident, experienced surgeon will possess strong, unwavering opinions.
  • Your gut tells you "no": Trust your gut. If you just don't feel that the doctor is the right fit, trust that and move on. On the other hand, if you feel they are the perfect specialist for you, trust that feeling.
